Overall, I like this set. It's straightforward to put together. It's cool how every tower is a little different. And I like the scoreboard, the launchers and the goalie movement piece. I liked the mini figs. Why a 4 instead of a 5?1. I wasn't 100% thrilled with the two loose towers because we (my daughter and I) find that we regularly knock the towers over by playing.2. The interior of the towers aren't high enough to stand up a full size minifig.. While the set was intended for Snape to be sitting, I'd like to be able to stand him up and likewise be able to populate the other towers with standing figures. Also, the Hermonie minifigure is short enough to stand and I like consistency.3.I'd like stands of some kind for the Quidditch players, so I can make them look like their flying. There are a few things I'd love to see in an expansion set:a) A second set of rings/goals so you can have an entire field. I have determined that if you buy a "second bag 3" (you can get the parts list from customer service) you can have another set of goals and link the other two towers together (thus removing my #1 issue aboveb) I wish the new the Harry Minifig line had more Quidditch players or have an expansion set with more players.c) I'd love to see an expansion that just has some bleachers to put between the towers. That could be another way to join them together. But, in the end, my daughter loves it, so it's work for me. (Now, if we can only find Hermione.)

This was my first ever Lego Harry Potter set, and I got it in 2018. I think that it is really cool. It provides you with lots of colourful pieces, and heaps of 1x2x2s! This set comes with six minifigures: Harry, Hermione, Marcus Flint, Oliver Wood, Lucian Bole and Snape. Each stand has a unique thing about it: Gryffindor’s has an opening to let the players onto the pitch, Slytherin Stand has a flame that you can flip up, like in the movie when Hermione sets Snape’s robes on fire, Hufflepuff has a scoreboard with all the house crests, along with a place in the back where you can put them. And last, Ravenclaw’s has a magical megaphone. You can also put Wood on a clear pole next to the goalposts and swing him around.I like the Snitch element. Harry, Hermione and Bole’s face twist around to show scared faces, Snape’s shows an angry face, and Wood and Marcus don’t have alternate expressions. There is enough space in each of the stands for one person to sit. Hermione and Snape both have wands, but the Quidditch players don’t. The set also comes with three goalposts, and a sandy area beneath. One thing that would have made the set better is if there were an extra 3 goalposts, to put on the other side of the stadium. Other than that, the set is really good! By KiwiLegoFan.

though i don't quite get the rules of quidditch (he who catches the snitch wins the entire game...no matter how hard every other player on the opposite team has been trying) this was a new harry potter set and therefore had to get it. actually, i didn't buy this one til a couple days after i bought the rest of the new sets because i wasn't going to get it at first. my 6 year old talked me into it.the set in general is definitely more of a kid's set. it'd take about 4 of these sets all combined into one for this set to really be impressive for most adults.it's just a quidditch game field: 4 small towers and a goal. the minifigures are colorful and detailed.my kid likes "playing" the game of quidditch, though i've talked him out of using the snitch game piece. just seems too easy to "win" the game.i've added a couple jumper pieces to the build under the goals to hold the storage chest and the trophy. that way everything has a place.going to add some clips to the side or rear of the towers to hold all the brooms that came with the set and drako's green broom too. probably a few more clips for a few more brooms in case we get more quidditch players. a place for everything.it's not a great set to me, but my boy likes it enough.

Well,I got a bunch of set at the beginning of 2019 and this one was maybe the less expected to build as I am not into too colourful legos even if I am a huge fan of Harry Potter... However, how wrong I was! This set is fun to build, even if the towers have all the same technique of building, about. The minifigures add to the lot and the playability is awesome (although I only display). But what is most interesting is its potential for display. If you are a big fan of Harry Potter, it blends in perfectly with the environment and even more if you have the Castle (the big one or two little separate one) to add to the scenery. For example, in a bookshelf, you can easilly put it in front of your Harry Potter books as it is slim Lego and modulable.Special thanks to the transparent rod, as from far you really think the minifigure is flying! Would have been nice to have more transparent rods and bases...Best point: price value! Not expensive for 500 pieces and good displayability.Bad point? Well, actually would have been nice to have Drago Malfoy as minifigure that exists separately... So if you can get it, buy it too to add to the set!

This is a must have for any Harry Potter fan. Quidditch is a big part of the Harry Potter universe and an essential part of a Harry Potter collection. This is a very colorful set that includes all four houses and a lot of playability. From being able to move the keeper, shooting bludgers and quaffles not to mention Hermione's flame distraction of Snape. This set can be used to re-create many of the movie scenes. The towers use bright colors and the use of stickers is appropriate. The towers are a bit small and two of the towers float which is good and bad. It allows for creating a bigger playing field but also reduces the look of a complete Quidditch pitch. As some have mentioned a companion set with additional players,Ron as a keeper perhaps? Would be a welcome addition to the Wizarding World. I would like to see another goal set up along with some bleachers to complete the Quidditch pitch. Overall a great display piece with a lot of playability as well. If you're a Harry Potter fan I would recommend getting this set.

When I got to the LEGO store, the Harry Potter sets were sold out, but this was one of only two sets found in the back. I didn't originally plan to purchase this set but I did and it was worth it. One minifigure has an exclusive face, and the rest are just very accurate and are good in the set. The build is strong, the first Quidditch set to have one tower for each of Hogwarts' houses. It's not boring to build this set because each tower is a little bit different from each other.I was concerned that the stickers would cover multiple pieces, but as I built the set, I realized this was untrue. The play features are really cool. It's fun to guard the goals from the quaffle, which a friend can shoot with a stud-shooter.This is overall, a great set.

A nice set to supplement the Harry Potter Lego experience. This set was very quick and easy to assemble. I think the value comes from the time spent posing and playing with this set. I would like to suspend the characters in flight and create spectator stands with minifigs. Not that fanatical about displaying lego? No problem, this would look great by itself on a desk as a conversation piece and mini game to take a break from work. However, the Hogwarts grounds are not complete without the quidditch pitch. As always, I recommend watching any of the HP movies while assembling for a fantastic experience, perhaps with some pumpkin juice?

Purchased this LEGO set as a present for my girlfriend who is a huge Harry Potter fan. She had never mad expressed any interest in LEGO though which meant i didn’t want to spend a huge amount on a set like the Harry Potter Hogwarts castle but thought building something relatively difficult together would be a nice way to spend an evening. She loved the set and it was fun to build together but wasn’t really that challenging so will probably go for a couple of other sets now that I know she’s a fan. Overall the set looks good and has some great little features but wasn’t very difficult or time consuming to complete.

Honestly I wanted this set very bad when it came out in 2018. I bought it for my sister and we built it together. We are both huge Harry potter fans and have been collecting every set since. I liked how there was a special feature/thing in each of the posts including the swinging drape, megaphone, flame on snape, and score keeper. I also liked the bludger and the people. There was only one problem. I bought two of these so I would have a complete Quiditch pitch. This was a small problem as it could have just been a bigger set. Thanks so much lego, please make more harry potter sets not only in summer.

This set is fun to build and play with! My only real complaints are that the Hufflepuff tower got the wrong color flag (it's black, but should be yellow) and that it was a bit expensive. My house is Hufflepuff, so I may be a bit more biased than others, but I would have really liked it if it was the correct color.Other than that, super fun to build, and loved the stand for Oliver Wood so he could fly! I'd love to see more clear stands for the other players in the future. All around cool set that has even more to offer than the previous one.

The Quidditch Match set is really outstanding. The viewing platforms for each school capture the colors and symbols very well and 3 of them have play options for the announcer, scorekeeper and a special fly-through to reenact some scenes from the story. Once I built the set, I really wanted a full stadium rather than one end alone, so I purchased a second set which adds so much to the fun! I'll be adding a low wall around the full stadium. This set really captures the movement and school spirit of the Quidditch game!

I brought two sets of the Harry Potter Sets expect for the Castle (expensive). My grandson (8yrs) and I are Harry Potter fans. With 2 sets of Quidditch, we developed a game that we can play. It is fun shooting through the hoops and finding the snitch. The only con was not enough playing figures and wish we had players for the other houses. We do wear safely glasses to protect our eyes from the flying pieces. We buy 2 of each set. Every set has been great. We are already saving for the 2019 sets.

21.12.2018

I held off on purchasing the Harry Potter first Quidditch set because it only has one tower. This set has all four and each is slightly different from the other. As a parent of 4 children, each identifying themselves with a House, this set was a perfect build to display in our house of Potter fans. It wasn't difficult and the minifigures are a good selection for the set size. Love that the colors are so vibrant and come with little details like the Quidditch Cup and the Snitch chest.

Hi all, Firstly, I got this at Woolworths for $25AUD. So I am very happy with this set. However, I wish there were more clear pieces to make the figures appear as they are flying. I Put this on display so, that would have been awesome. My 12 year old son and I built it together and had a great time. I just feel that there could have been more cool features at $50 RRP. The stands barely do anything, so it's not very playable. I think it's nice as a display.

My son loves Harry Potter and lego so this didn't disappoint. The fact that argos click and collect offers such a quick service means that we were able to collect it the next day when convenient and know that it was waiting. The set itself is lovely, good detailing regarding all the quidditch equipment and great new piece that means you can 'save' any goals while playing!
