The whole line of Galaxy Squad is very good, one of the better Lego scifi-themes of the last few years I think (besides Star Wars).There is a launching vehicle that doubles as a tank with a twin cannon, an insectoid-base and a multiped. There are five minifigs, 3of the blue squad and two insectoids.The most interesting is the 'deep space destroyer', an attackship (I think...) with rotating wings that locks on to the launching vehicle. It looks a bit like a Star Wars Republic Gunship, but that is always a good thing! The light blue color is quite new, and is a good additition to the standard Lego-colors.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son, he spent 5 sessions of an hour proudly constructing this without adult help. It has also stood up well to game playing after it was built. Would work well up to the age of 10, but not sure it would be challenging enough beyond this.

Requested as a Christmas present by my Lego mad 11 year old! Built in an hour and many hours playing with it since, he loves it and chooses his Lego wisely, bought at a great price too!

Lego..... fantastic ...my 10 year old spent Christmas day making this as he was so excited he had got it from Santa, Lego is always a great favourite, hours of fun....

As with all Lego sets, this was an expensive purchase but if you are willing to pay Lego prices then it is worth it. Quite a large set and fun to put together.

This was a gift and was very well received. It took some time to build but the recipient loved it.
