This is our first "Large" Lego Space vehicle from the Galaxy Squad series... We also have 4-5 other sets, but this is the biggest yet. We bought them so that Dad and his girls would have something to do when a new baby came home and mom needed to give a little less attention to the big kids for the first few weeks. My girls loved these sets and this set in particular reminded me of the sets from my youth. Cool playability, plus a well constructed set for play makes this the favorite of the kids... My 6-year-old loves the "insectoids" and this one actually stays together better than the larger sets from that side. Its worth noting that this is a LARGE set and the "Vermin Vaporizer" is a very complex build that won't be taken apart anytime soon at our house. Its not for a novice bulder and I would assume that an older child (11+) would be just fine on their own, but otherwise parental assistance and several hours of build time are likely required. The best part? No big molded frame parts - Almost the entire vehicle is made or small/medium bricks with only some body molding to style it. It really was just like the old LEGO Space "Futuron" "BlackTron" and "M-Tron" sets of the good ol' days.

This is one sweet Lego set. You get four vehicles and three mini figs. The main vehicle has a really cool futuristic look with the rounded off front end. The front end actually opens revealing the little battle buggy vehicle that serves as the Vaporizers cockpit and as a ground recon vehicle that you can pull out and drive around. The gun turret looks really sweet and is fun to rotate and aim at the included bug alien vehicle. Of course the gun turret is actually a removable mech that the robot side kick commands. It's a really nicely designed mech. Well anyway I could go on about the things you get but I will instead post a video so you can see for yourself.I will end this review by saying that I do recommend this set as it was very fun to build and also to play around with. Any kid would love this thing and as an adult I love it as well.

First time I brought Lego since 13 years I love this set Galaxy Squad not compared for other Space theme like Blacktron M-Tron n UFO is a lot of details n but Lego's now they have back printing that's why I love Lego's, is for kids and adults for Lego fans, if your have kids they will save up 60 bucks, if you adult and have a better job you buy it is worth it, Lego's have change a lot include all their own theme include licesene's theme like Star Wars and Disney and Harry Polter and Lord Of The Rings, this set is awesome is fun to build I love it I'm 28 years old for my first time buying Legos for my whole collection

This set is just awesome. Galaxy Squad is absolutely the coolest Lego line I've ever seen, and the Vermin Vaporizer is the coolest set from the line (tied with the Eradicator Mech.) I am systematically collecting the entire GS line (I have 3 more sets to go) and the VV is so awesome I plan to get a second. I am very far from wealthy, so these larger sets are significant purchases for me, but they are totally worth it, and once I have them all I plan to set them up in a big diorama. These babies actually got me collecting Legos again as a 38 year old.

This is a really cool Lego set. Bought for my 7 year old, went to together pretty easily, he did half of it and then let his 9 year-old brother finish putting it together. He really likes playing with it and unlike some Lego sets, this one does not fall apart easily when played with even though it has a little exoskeleton that comes off the vehicle along with a little car that pops out the front. Very cool design and it fits back together easily. We've bought many Lego sets but this is one of the best in recent memory for the price.

this set is fun and works really well, it's a bit of an "odd man out" of the series as the other sets seem a bit more sleeker. But that's following the color code of the series, RED=Speed, Orange=Fire power, etc....Why did I give it 4 stars? Well it's just a personal opinion but the other orange sets set 70707 and 70705 are a lot more fun to build and play with. I would only recommend this if you have already purchased the other sets and want to build up your defense against the creepy yet goofy bugazoids

Gave this to my 7-year-old son, and he couldn't have enough of it (played for hours). However, this kind of set will be more suitable for kids who are really into lego as it introduced new pieces and shapes that if not familiar will take a little longer to complete it.It's very cool compared to some other galaxies sets as nothing is compared or similar to, quite different new series LEGO company put together with this one. Fully recommended..!

My son enjoyed putting this together. He's 11 years old and has superior skills assembling Lego sets. This set is only 500+ pieces, so it didn't take him long to complete. He really enjoyed this set. What's really amazing is how he modifies the set and combines it with other pieces from other Lego sets to create new vehicles, aircraft, etc. That's what's hreat about this piece. It get the imagination going!

Purchased this as an incentive for my 10-year-old and spent about $20 less than the local W*Mart. We were away from home at the time and thanks to Prime, it was waiting for us on the front door when we returned home. Especially grateful that we didn't have to try to finish the trip with an open box and lots of small pieces riding around in the car. That's a double-win!

I have always enjoyed Legos and now even more so as a parent. My daughter and I have great fun assembling and disassembling these sets. This line in particular strikes a chord with me because I am a sci-fi geek and get a real kick out of it. It is well designed and a blast to put together. I look forward to purchasing the rest of this line as I can afford to.

My son picked this out for his 11th birthday and absolutely loves it. He thoroughly enjoyed putting it together and was thrilled with the fact that it had 4 separate toys when everything was put together. It has been a month and he hasn't lost interest yet. Money well spent (considering Amazon was about $20 cheaper than the toy store!)

This is one of the more involved Lego Galaxy Squad kits and while it took a bit to assemble (which of course is the best part for me) the finished product is quite cool. I mean, who wouldn't want a Lego Mech and space rover! 6 year olds (and older) will have a blast with this set.

Bought this as a birthday present for an 8 year old boy who loves Lego. Once he opened the box he couldn't stop till most of it was built! This theme "Galaxy Squad" seems to be very popular with kids and the price of the set was very competitive.

The Lego itself was just what I had ordered. The problem? It was a birthday gift for my grandson and it arrived at their front door in a clear plastic wrap. Had my grandson seen it; his birthday surprise would have been ruined!

Bought this on Amazon for the price point, my son already had some other Galaxy Squad. For being so many pieces this was one of the more do-able put togethers for my son, who is 7.
