This set is now retired but it has been one of the most played with Lego Friends sets that my Daughter has and has so much play value. As we are now packing it away to make some room for her newer sets and with Christmas just around the corner, I thought I'd finally post my review for the set. The set's original main price was just under thirty five pound for anyone interested in knowing the original value.Size:- The Food Market measures 18cm wide (not including the sign sticking out at the side) by 15cm deep by 17cm high.Age Suitability:-The set is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old and it is a reasonably easy build as my Daughter who is younger than 6 managed to build it by herselfand just needed my help with the stickers.Build Bags etc:-The set has two instruction booklets with easy to follow step by step instructions and three build bags. The set also comes with two blue base pieces outside of the build bags and a small sheet of stickers too. The set has 388 pieces along with some small spare parts.Figures:-The set comes with Mia and Maya mini figures. This is only the second main set that Maya has been included in other than the Dolphin Cruiser set. The set also includes Maya's Cat.Parts:-The main build is the Food Market which has an upstairs apartment for Maya above the main shop and loo downstairs. There is also a scooter to build for Maya to deliver any orders and an outside bench with street light.Features:-As I mentioned above this is one of my Daughters favourite Friends sets as it has a ton of play value. The Food Market has an outside area where the bread, carrots, bananas and flowers are displayed. Inside there is a jam and marmalade display, orange juice and milk window display and crates containing pineapples, cherries and apples. There is a little set of weighing scales so that Maya can weigh the fruit and vegetables and also a little till for customers to pay for their shopping. There is even a downstairs loo complete with loo roll and sink. At the front there are stairs leading up to Maya's apartment and the windows and shutters on the window open and close. Inside Maya has a sofa, table and stool and her laptop so that she can do her business accounts and surf the web. There is a small kitchen area with a sink, hob, oven and cupboard and even a baking tray with cookies for her to cook. There is a small ladder leading up to her loft bed and enough room for her cat to curl up in bed with her at night. Finally there is also a cake, plate and glasses for when Mia comes to visit.Definitely one of the best Lego Friends sets so far as my Daughter loves that it has both a shop and little home and there is so much play value as usual from Lego.

Great price for this as seems to be £10 more in the shops. Not opened as it's a Xmas present but sure it will be loved

My daughter had this for her 5th birthday and helped to build and still plays with it now. It looks fab.
