With 2020 arriving, a whole host of new Lego sets also come with it. This, from the friends series, plays on the trend for glamping with a chance for Olivia and Mia to head off on a trip.Assembly is pretty straightforward of this set, not too many pieces and nothing too complex when it comes to the techniques being used. The only complex bits are the stickers, also not great for Lego purists, as well as the plastic element that covers the tent which is also a little fiddly but nothing you will need an adult to help with for too long.In terms of playability, there is plenty to be done here. My daughter is four and needed a little guidance to build this set. It's aged perfectly for the 6 plus market. Though my 11 year old found this set too simplistic. Being more into Lego Technics, Creator, Architecture and Mindstoms Robotics sets by Lego, which are aimed at the eight to ten plus market.My young daughter however, loved building this set with guidance and can relate to it as she recently went on a camping trip and missed her home comforts. It's rather annoyingly opened her eyes to the sheer possibilities!Now that she's been exposed to 'glamping' (thanks to Lego!) I imagine she'll be expecting a bar with waitress, bunting, music with the aid of giant speakers, a salon, purpose built fire pit,

I’m totally amazed by the way Lego has developed. I was a Lego enthusiast when it was first introduced to Britain in the early 1960s. In those days, the colours were limited, as were the shapes and it took a while to build up enough bricks to make anything remotely imaginative. So to see the content of this box is quite astonishing. The colours, the characters, the themed paraphernalia; there’s enough in this box alone to keep a child engrossed for some time. I haven’t yet come across a kid who doesn’t enjoy building things and this set strikes me as great value for money.There’s a lot of detail and it’s not complicated to build. With other themed sets, I can see endless potential and it’s also a set which fits with standard Lego,

This went down well with a 7 year old girl as an extra birthday surprise. She enjoyed putting it together, which took a little while and was good to keep her entertained during lockdown. Nice to be able to do some imaginary camping when it wasn’t legally possible in the UK due to Covid-19!There are lots of sweet little details and touches such as the 3D fairy lights, cute bunting on the tent and nice decorative features inside the tent which can also be removed to play with (lantern etc.)The people can stand /sit independently but are also able to attach themselves to places in the camp site eg. Sitting in the hot tub and tent / outdoor areas.As with all Lego it’s a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

This is such a fun set, featuring Lego Friends characters Olivia and Mia, as well as a squirrel, who lives in the tree, above the campsite. This set not only contains two characters (three, if you count the squirrel!), but comes with a lovely tent, which has camp-beds and a nice seating area in front of the tent, a tree, with a hot tub, and lots of other accessories, including a telescope and a bicycle.As well as the main accessories, there are lots of smaller parts to add to the fun, and the play value. From a speaker, to lanterns, a basket, hairbrush, cherries, glasses, and all sorts of tiny accessories, the girls are set to have a great trip. Fun to build, and fun to play with,

This set works as something new to the lego Friends camping theme. If you have the camper van already, this complements it quite nicely. It's quite imaginative with the glamping idea.In terms build time, it took a 7 year old about 30 minutes to build it with no adult help.Played with it nicely for about 3 hours after building along with other existing Lego, so I think at £25 at time of review, it was pretty good entertainment value, and will be played with on and off for quite some time to come...

We chose this glamping from a huge list of eligible testing products because it looked the most fun. We loved unwrapping the box on xmas day. So colourful and bright. My dd is 4. She knew what it was but didnt want to follow instructions so I built it.. haha. Again, it was throughly enjoyable to do but we seemed to have a load of extra pieces that fitted nowhere. I also have fat fingers and following the instructions seemed to break the built lego every so often. Frustrating! Fun though. :)

Very original design from lego. My 7 yr old daughter built this in around an hour and a half with minimal help. She absolutely loved the tent aspect of it and also the string 'lights' were a lovely feature. The detailing inside the tent is fantastic and the hottub area is very sweet. She enjoyed the fact that there were two lego friends figures to play with and that is also included a bike. Overall a lovely set from lego that she has added to her ever growing collection.

I like the Friends theme overall for the colors. Most sets have good playability. I like the tree element for its interesting angles. I was impressed by the introduction of the "BAG, BASKET" Element 6096091. I found it very appealing to handle and to look at. One drawback to this set is the bicycle. It looks good and has good wheel action, but the Friends minis are unable to ride the bike, so it may not be a good choice here. Overall a good set, and fun to build.

Got this for a 6 yr old and 8 yr old. I think the 8 year old could make it well on her own the 6 year old would have needed help. Wow often with Lego sets you can make them and put them away but this is still out and bring played with every few days. Took about 45 minutes with adult guidance all the pieces were there and easily found using instructions. I have submitted a video on Twitter to show the finished detail. Would recommend

This set was a lot of fun for my 7 year old to do. The instructions are accurate so she could build it alone. She loved the detailed pieces that come with it and the finished product is proudly now on display. The apple unfortunately just rests and doesn't actually fit into anything and folding the tent at the end was slightly tricky but she managed with some guidance. Overall it is a great set for her age.

My grandaughter received two of the same pack for her birthday. I’ve now received a different one for her but forgot to send original Lego friends pack back. I am unable to use my printer and understand the returns now require the use of a printer. Pls advise me what to do as I am disabled and unable to drive at the present time so need Hermes to collect this parcel ! Thank you

This was a lovely set, the instructions were easy to follow and it was pretty simple to put together. My daughter really enjoyed building it but she enjoys playing with it more. It comes with two characters and lots of little accessories for them including a bike, helmet and drinking glasses. We are excited to extend our collection in this range.

I loved the set . It has lots of cool items for your Lego friends to play with. The fairy lights compliment the whole thing and at the back of the tent it has little slots for accessories. Although I do recommend to add an extra piece unter the campfire as it can break but overall this is my favourite Lego set and I recommend you buying it
