This is a lovely little Friends set aimed at the younger builder and my Daughter easily managed to build this by herself.Lego has recently removed the name Juniors on its younger sets aimed at children 4 and over and has now just simply placed a 4+ sign on the front of the sets. These younger sets are aimed at those who are too old for Duplo but not quite onto standard Lego sets and this is one of those newer sets. The sets have the same brick studs and connections as standard Lego (and so are fully compatible and can be built with all standard Lego) but they also come with larger pre-built parts to make the sets easier for little ones to build such as in this set the car's main body is one big part rather than several smaller ones.The set has a buildable car,

This Lego Friends set is perfect for little 3-5 year old girls who are going through a particular stage that many girls go through: the best friends, we love pink, let's go shopping stage. I'm sure some boys go through it too. The point is, that this is a highly gendered set that caters to a specific market.It's a lovely set aimed at 4+ but your child will need help constructing it. This set comes with Stephanie and Olivia. Stephanie is white, Olivia is brown so at least it's a little diverse. The car is brilliant and the addition of the ice cream shop is a winner. There are some lovely elements, like the door, that sets your child up to learn to build with Lego.

This set was part of the first wave of 2019 Lego Friends releases, with a total of 12 boxed sets and 5 Heart Boxes, it is also one of the 'Starter Building' sets for ages 4+, which replaced the previously titled 'Lego Juniors' series. Set 41362 features two mini-dolls: Stephanie and Olivia, a car for the shopping trip, a supermarket with a shopping cart, and a separate sundae bar for refreshments, which features sundaes in glasses, a croissant, and an iced lolly. The shop accessories include a cash register and various groceries, such as milk, cereal, fish, fruit, and vegetables.The Heartlake City Supermarket set has not been retired yet, and at a price of £24.99 it's fairly reasonable value for money,

I love this Lego design. It's a modern update of the old Legos I remember I used to play with all the time. Lego is a very well established brand with heritage as despite many copying its original style, the quality & design remains unique. Children love playing with Lego as it stimulates their imagination, problem solving & designing skills.This set is aimed at 4+ age as it contains small parts , it's fairly easily to assemble & the children loved the cute croissant ?, fruits, ice cream stand, little fish, the car etc. It's set in a city town centre, with a supermarket. 2 small dolls, Stephanie & Olivia is included.The best birthday gift for kids. Lego bricks is creative and specially designed for girls in lovely colour.

I actually received a box of the Friends gymnastics equipment, but it looks like it is the same difficulty level.My 7 year old nephew finished it in about 30-40 minutes and needed no help from me at all. He loves LEGO and thought some of the specialty pieces for this one would be cool to build with for other projects in the future too.The trampoline works, but it takes a bit of adjustment to get her to jump properly otherwise she just falls off - which was rather frustrating for my younger 5-year-old nephewAll in all another great set from LEGO. The instructions are easy and straight forward to follow and it's a great way to spend some time chillin' in the evening.

This is a supermarket set where Stephanie and Olivia go shopping. Included is a small jeep and a shopping trolley. There are shops with suitable produce which includes fruit vegetables poultry and fish. It is for ages 4 +. It comes as 3 cellphone packets clearly marked. Part of the jeep, part of the shop and part of the base are loose. There is a good instruction leaflet. This should suit my great granddaughter aged 5 but there are lots of small pieces that are fiddly for a child. Adult help is definitely required. Nevertheless my great granddaughter has shown interest and think she will enjoy doing it for short periods of time.

This is a lego set clearly aimed at the little ones - its a simple enough build by Lego standards and is bright and colourful and provides hours of fun for the little ones once built.My daughter loves the car and shops as she is often caught playing that with her brother. Its Lego of course so lots of little bits to lose but in terms of the set once assembled its a nice simple set.At £25 its expensive, and I say it time and time again about Lego so its nothing new - but this does feel over priced for what you get.

Initially I was a bit unsure about this set as, unlike a lot of Lego set, was not gender neutral. It’s obviously aimed at girls with the pinks and purples in the colours and the “Friends” branding. However, our two girls loved it. There’s maybe not a huge amount of construction required but there’s quite a bit of play and imagination that occurs. While I still have my reservations about the theme and the fact it gender specific it does get two big thumbs up from our two girls and I guess that’s the important part.

It was straight forward to set up and simple to use.It does seem aimed at girls, anyway my niece and her friend had a great time playing with it.Good supermarket role play with lots of items to put in the trolley such as fruit and vegetables. It had two Friends characters to play with too."

This is on the low to low-mid complexity level, but should still be suitable for 4 year olds with a bit of help.It's basically one of the Lego diorama type sets, with a bit more complexity to the finished items than some of the really simple kits.Because of the greater range of parts, you have more variety with what you can do with it afterwards.Overall, a good set.

Lego can’t be beaten for inventiveness and keeping kids entertained ! This set us no exception and as always can be made into other themes with the child’s imagination . Great to use and quick to make up with detailed instructions . There are little people and bits and bobs from the supermarket and cafe ! Brilliant as usual !

I couldn't believe how many pieces you get with this pack. Fantastic! I had a few problems building the car...but a six year old friend showed me how to do it. One thing. Isn't it just a little sexist with two girls doing the supermarket shopping?

This is a lovely Lego shopping set. The details are lovely and is still has the traditional Lego design and quality. I just wish it wasn’t unnecessarily targeted at girls as all children can enjoy playing shop.

Child happy, good imaginative play for younger children I would say 4-7 but as per usual Lego sets you can’t help feeling you’ve paid a lot for not a substantial amount of plastic blocks.

Excellent LEGO product at a decent price. LEGO overall is quite expensive but I’d say this is fair!
