This is a great little set of bricks that is enough to make all 8 small ‘Lego Ideas’ models in the provided book. The ‘Lego Ideas’ models range from 3 different levels of difficulty, so would be a great set to share between siblings and friends. It comes with small bases, and although there is great variety in shapes and colours, there isn’t enough of each type to make big models. For example there are only enough wheels to make one car, and there are only two doors that would work in scale with normal lego Mini Figures. There is a great deal of peculiar shaped pieces, including a multitude of eyes that are most suited for creating crazy characters, and lots of small windows and doors to make small scale houses.

I like it, it's a massive box of bricks with guideline or suggested builds, but made with the idea that you'll invent your own stuff yourself. I like that this comes in a seperate set; if you're a lego fan, it's nice to keep the sets contained together as once a lot of them get mixed up, there's a real problem in ever finding the right pieces again.I think compared to what i remember from the early 90s of Lego, the bricks aren't the same...the colours aren't as strong, they just aren't fitting with my nostalgic memory. But, they are still good.I really recommend getting the lego board as a base for building.

It's always great to get a big box of bricks like this as they have so many uses and are so much fun. Whether it's someone's first ever LEGO set or just a way to build up a collection of spare bricks they will be enjoyed. This set has the added bonus of being window themed and you get a fair variety included. There is also a little project book to get the first timer started and it's surprising how much you can make using windows! There are of course lots of other bricks included, it's not all just windows. In fact this set has 450 bricks in total! So get building!

This is a good starter set, In the box are 450 pieces of Lego and a manual with ideas and models to build for different levels of ability. The set has different coloured bricks with windows and doors, eyes, wheels and hinges. Also included is a brick separator tool, this worked well and is really useful. Designs in the manual include a robot and a haunted house and various building ideas to inspire creativity.Lego is a great timeless toy.

Absolutely love this Lego set. It has the usual brightly coloured bricks in all shapes and sizes, but also includes lots of windows and doors, and other interestingly shaped bricks. There is an ideas book included to get little people started, but the opportunity here for creative, imaginative play is endless. Although the more specialist sets are good, the basic sets offer such versatile play, they are excellent value.

This is a great set of Lego, which is ideal for younger builders, who are just starting to really play with Lego. There are a lot of classic pieces, as well as some more unusually shaped pieces, which allow your child to be really creative and make their own designs. Comes with some build ideas to try and helps to develop building skills, so that children can attempt some of the more challenging builds.

This is more of a collection of bricks than a Lego set - it does come with instructions on how to build a couple of things but the real beauty is that it pushes young minds to make their own creations. There are 450 pieces so good on its own or when mixed in with other Lego sets.Lots of brightly coloured pieces, lots to keep young minds busy for a while.

This is a lovely classic Lego set for ages 4+ which takes me right back to my childhood. It has all the usual bricks, windows, roof etc to make wonderful creations. Sturdy and super well designed. It is a classic toy for a reason, and I'm not sure it will ever be bettered for keeping children entertained, and letting their creativity flow. Wonderful

Its nice once in a while to just freestyle it with Lego and this pack eases the child into creating without instructions. The determined user can correlate the models on the box with the pieces they have and copy them. The result is a real sense of achievement and their little brains engaging in a three dimensional aspect.

Bought when on offer for my 2 and 3 year old as a joint Xmas present. Great set with lodes of colours for them to use there imagination. My 3 year old got stuck in straight away however they were a lil confusing for my 2 year old however he will hopefully grow to love lego

Love this set. My son got it for xmas and he was enamoured with it straight away. Easy to build and fun to play with for a 5-year-old. His friend came over who had not played with much lego and left asking her mum to buy her some. Good top-up set!

It s a very wonderful set!!!It has a lot of models to build! My son is very happy with it!!!It has a lot of pieces and another stuffs too, like trees and flowers ,etc.The book is really helpfull and accurate.We are really pleased!!!

Lots of different bricks but also lots of the same sizes so you can change the coulours of the suggested models if you want to spark the kids' imagination. My 3 and 4 year old cannot get enough of play of this.

I dont need any encouragement about Lego, but I love this multi idea toy-Lots of variety and endless construction possibilities-all good fun and perfect for a table toy in school holidays -brilliant

For anyone who likes Lego this should be a well received present. As you would expect it all works out of the box. The bricks are all sturdy and do fit together. There is quite a lot of variety.
