Overall another great Lego product. With instructions clear enough for my 6 year old son to build it with almost no help. Only critisism is that when you try to float it in the bath, (well he is only 6) it's top heavy and immediately capsizes. The American version comes with a neat little battery operated motor pack which clips onto the bottom of the boat keeping it the right way up and powering it in water. Why don't we get this part over here? So overall a great model, but try to source the one with the motor.

This took my 9 year old about 35 minutes to construct. Very good fun was had both in the construction and playing in the bath.It even has a connection for a motor which is a must have if you want it in the bath and not to topple over too many times. If the crane hose is off center there is a certain amount of listing.Buy the motor too but be prepared to take your wellies if you go to the boating lake and it gets stuck in the mud as ours did, I got very wet!

This is a great model, simple to make and has some fun additions for the little ones to play with. BUT it doesn't float, well I should be exact: It doesn't float the right way up!. There seems to be a location fora metal weight on th bottom but this seems to be omited. I have ended up adding a small spanner and blue tack underneath to make it float the right way up in the bath for my five year old!It short its a great model but it doesnt float!shame

This LEGO kit was a birthday gift for a nine-year old grandson. He has received and built many such LEGO kits in recent years and finds them challenging and enjoyable to build. Grown-ups find them to be rather expensive but very good quality. He rates this one as very 'cool'. Good for games on the floor but don't yet know whether its claim to float in the bath is valid.

I gave it to my 4 year old boy who loves fire trucks etc and he found it fun to build with me even though it was maybe slightly too difficult for him still. Plays with it quite a bit - just need to get more of the Lego City lego to go with it!

Best prices around and Lego is always Lego! Although this says 5 - 12 my 6 year old son was able to do this quite easily it is one of the less complicated Lego`s, so if your kids like a challenge maybe this is not the one to go for!

my son played many hours with this toy and still does,toy is very creative and educational,lots of pieces to play with like the ladder, the hooses, little cups and a cabine inside. great purchase

Bought this on behlaf of my "Lego Mad" 8-year old. Cheaper than anywhere else for the same product. Arrived early, safely and intact. He loves it - 'nuf said!
