My son just turned 6 yesterday and he exclaimed, "It's just what I wanted!" when he opened the gift at his party. I think he was more excited with this $5.99 speed boat than the $19.99 other Lego toy I bought him, just because of the ease & confidence a small set builds. During the party he built the entire speedboat by himself and it really boosts his confidence - something we're working on. He loves this little inexpensive set, Mommy loves the price and confidence building, and there will be more mini sets purchased for Christmas '12! Thank you, Lego! :)

This was a small stocking stuffer, and good value at $4.99. It was easy for my 5 year old to assemble.Once built it is very strong. Strong enough to let my 2 year old play with it (supervised), and aside from the outboard motor coming off, he's never been able to break it.

My son is 4 and loves this little boat. He keeps building it and tearing it apart. I love watching his confidence grow more and more as he can put it back together faster and faster each time.

Bought this boat for my 12 year old daughter. She said it was very easy to put together. She liked it as an addition to her lego city. Not as great as the police truck but still coool.

My youngest grandson is a lego addict and this is one of the sets he asked for at Christmas. He was so excited, you just can't go wrong, product delivers the best always.

Tried this out in the pool...really floats. The kids loved it. Actually floated better than the Lego Fishing Boat..I was also pleased that the packaging was not damaged..

My son loves loves them ....the price is right still alittle high but that is how much Legos are but the price on this was good the day I bought it

My grandson built this in about 10 minutes on Xmas morning, and now uses the parts for his own very creative projects.

my 6 year old grandson will play for hours with the "lego box" at grandma's. i have sets from when my kids were young.

My kids LOVE Legos and this was no expection. Great size to travel with. Easy to put together and hours of fun.

My nephew really liked this speed boat. It was quite small in my opinion, but at 8 years old, he loved it.

Boys enjoyed putting this together. Gave it in a 7 year old along with the book Speed Racer.
