LEGO City Cargo TerminalAs usual with LEGO these days, the quality is top notch, not one block failed to grip properly. No missing pieces, in fact you are supplied with a few extras just in case. The manual, again as usual for LEGO, is a delight, straight forward and very clear in its instruction, exactly as you’d expect. In the box you’ll find five instruction manuals and eight bags of LEGO, contained in one of those bags you’ll also find a lego tool, you’ll probably find that quite handy. Each one of the instruction manuals will have you building a different item from the set, this is handy if you want to build in sections or different sittings.Me and my niece sat down and built the whole set in one sitting and it took us a little over two hours, with each manual taking us around 20-35 minutes. Be warned though, my niece is a master builder and pretty speedy. The set itself contains a number of items and vehicles.4 MinifiguresTele-Handler (Moving Parts)Forklift Truck (Moving Parts)Truck and Trailer that holds 4 cargo containersGatehouse (Moving Parts)Storage RackYou also get some cargo which includes a Lawn Mower, Jet Ski and something else that neither of us are quite sure what it is.Also included is a sheet of stickers which the manual will show you where to stick.Once built, the toys themselves are of a really good size, brightly coloured and very nice to play with. The Tele-Handler has a crane that can be extended by turning a cog at the back, the Forklift is elasticated so that the forks can be pushed down and then raise on their own, be warned though that it is quite easy to catapult your cargo using the Forklift, quite funny too. The Gatehouse has a window that slides from side to side and a gate that you can raise and lower. All these extra moving parts just makes this set really nice for the younger ones as there are more play options which can inspire imagination.I personally feel that this set is pretty good value, the problem is that the price of LEGO generally has been rising for some time. If you take the price of this LEGO City set and compare it to say a LEGO Star Wars set, I personally think you get more for your money with the LEGO City set and I think this applies to all of LEGO’s IP sets.In conclusion, this set, for me, is really good. You get plenty of toys included, you get a good build time but not excessive and you get the usual high quality that LEGO produce. I am going to knock one star off though because I think LEGO is still expensive for what it is.

The LEGO City line is often sparse of cargo products, so we always look forward to new vehicles and tools for our layout. This terminal is a nice - if compact - addition. The story goes that the truck driver can travel to the depot, where he/she is allowed through the small barrier and to enter the loading area. Here, the telescopic crane can load and unload a range of different cargo onto the delivery truck, with the exchanged items being stowed away onto a simple storage area with two levels. There are plenty of interesting play features and the idea behind different types of cargo is particularly nice. As usual, the vehicles are well designed and have a good chunky feel to them for ease of handling. The minifigures also have some good personality. If the product falls in any area, it's value for money. But it really shouldn't come as a surprise as this is becoming the norm for LEGO across the board.Overall, a nice set that will add plenty of play opportunities to a City layout - especially with trains and other trucks.

One of the "city" series with the usual high quality, bright colours and imagination ingredient expected from Lego. A huge variety of parts, some quite intricate to test the skill of young builders. Probably more suitable towards the higher end of the suggested 6 to 12 years age range although my almost 7 year old grandson who is a Lego wizard mastered it. Having put in the effort of construction the reward is many exciting play options.Any good construction toy has 3 benefits: the challenge of putting it together, the satisfaction of having done so and the fun of then playing with it. This set certainly ticks all 3 boxes and then some.

As Lego sets go this one is right up there in terms of quality. For your money you get 4 figures, a jet ski, a lorry with two trailers, a forklift truck, a crane truck and a security check point. The construction itself is also pretty challenging for the suggested age range with some pretty detailed working parts such as the lifting mechanisms on the forklift and crane.Once assembled it is all pretty well designed and robust. My only minor grumble is that I would say some of the other comparatively priced sets such as the Lego City Police Station or Airport Terminal are slightly more appealing but that really is nit picking.

I’ve always liked Lego because it is well made, appeals to both sexes and is of interest to a wide range of ages. It’s a good bet for a child’s present if you are stuck for something to get! This set occupied my daughter for a few days. You get several pieces to make which can be done independently so if you have more than one child they can both be assigned a part to construct. There are four characters you can position in the different vehicles when it is finished to make an attractive and satisfying display. The good thing is of course that you can dismantle it all and put it aside to reassemble on another day!

These Lego City toy kits are a lot of fun for the serious Lego aficionado. It contains five main components (which will take no time at all to put together) which then probably need to be added to a bigger cityscape for maximum playing pleasure. Lego come a long way since I was a nipper making bungalows out of a pile of red and yellow bricks, but this is one multi-billion $$$$ industry whose success seems actually well earned. Just try making the next Lego movie a bit more entertaining, chaps, for the sake of the kids.

A great little play set as part of the City range. There are several different vehicles with interactive parts to play with that make a great addition to a larger group of sets. My nephew loves it to bits, especially the forklift. It's a medium level of complexity and is good for an hour or two of build time depending on skill. The price is reasonable, Lego isn't cheap these days but it's not a complete rip off.

Very easy to understand instructions made this very simple and fun to make. Each Lego vehicle or building has its own book detailing which bricks to put together in order. All the items were solid and looked good. Not one item was missing a piece, in fact there were several spares. This is a good size box of Lego. Lots to build and play with!

This is a big set with plenty of building to do. As always the instructions are clear and helpful. Lots of play possibilities too, with many moving parts and plenty of scope for imaginative play.

Great set. I am a Lego nut so this is brilliant. It goes with the trains and station that I already have.
