Easy to assemble.The diagram could have been a little more informative but none the less I figured it out easily enough.Comes with a limescale protector for the water bottle.Each piece clips into place securely. The plastic all seems strong and durable.There is a green light to let you know when it is ready to use. Which is nice, bright and obvious.The cord is long, a really great length. This has an allocated slot on the mop to keep it tangle free and neat and tidy.The on/off buttons are easily seen and recognisable.I didn't quite understand the instructions at first but I figured it out.When you plug in, turn on and wait for the red light to turn green.When it does,hold the pincher under the handle in for 30 seconds and then it will start to work. Continue to hold to use.The top of the steam mop are up and down arrows to help you choose which steam level you would need or prefer. Low, medium and high.I used the highest amount for dirty corners like the picture and then I went over the whole floor with the least amount.When first removing the worst bits of grime it did initially leave two murky smears but then I went once over again and they disappeared.This didn't take long to dry.This left my floor absolutely sparkling. You wouldn't even consider it was only water that cleaned it.I love the fact that I no longer have to buy floor cleaners.There is some weight in the mop at the top. Yet it still glides easily without much effort needed.This does not stand freely. I honestly think if they added some sort of stand for perfect storage then this would make this product ideal for me.I do think this proves itself to why it is in the higher price range of steam mops. It's easy to assemble, 30 seconds prep, only needs water, led light, multifunctional buttons and it has effortless glide.However, it does seem quite expensive for what it is but personally I think long term, with its durability and warranty, you will actually be saving money from buying floor cleaning products.I would definitely recommend, I do think it's quite brilliant. Perfect quick and easy.

I've been testing this unit for a couple of months now and its time to provide a quick review.I was surprised at first how easy its to assemble the unit. Didn't even bother looking into instruction as everything is straight forward and common sense. All parts click with each other, no tools required at all. That makes a speedy process.Units heats up really quickly, just as advertised so not much time is wasted.I was quite shockned seeing how dirty our floor was despite of being cleaned on daily basis. It must be the temperature from steam that removes deep dirt from the hard floors.Had some DIY done as well and 99% of paint from the floor was removed with ease.The head is moving and can change the angle as you can see on attached photos so cleaning the floor under the radiator, chairs, table or narrow places its not a problem at all.Used on carpets and other floor types and steamer performed well on all surface types. You just need to remember to change the steam settings in accordance to floor type - that's all. My wife said that unit it's a bit on heavy site, but that's not a problem for me, nor other people i let to test the unit. to summarise:- easy to set up- ready to work in seconds- long cable- not to heavy for a man- cleans pretty much everything , even carpets look better, - deeps clean the floor - reaches out to narrow places- looking really good and modern which is also a bonus- very easy to useCan't really think about any negative poitns to be fair, possibly the one - if i have to pick - would be great to have one more cloth in the set. that's about it.Highly recomment this product to people that like their house to look nice and clear without using chemicals. I have always really wanted a Karcher Steam Cleaner , when I saw this I HAD to get it .I Ordered On Sunday evening and it arrived Monday delivered by Hermes . It came in an amazon Branded Cardboard Box .Opening the box you find the Karcher Branded Box which shows the SC3 on the front and on the back Instructions for putting it together .I was impressed by how easy it was to fit everything together .In the Box you get :The Handle , the Steam Unit , a Bottle and water descaling filter which fits inside a fluffy mop head and the bottom of the mop .To set it up you slip the handle into the body of the SC unit until you hear a click , open the water bottle and add the descaling filter fill with water then attach to the back of the unit .Attach the bottom of the mop and you're ready to go .Plug the Steamer in and press the button on the handle to the floor surface you want to clean , you can choose from 3 settings then wait for the LED light to tell you that it's reached optimum temperature , Press and hold the button inside the handle and mop away .The water takes about 30 seconds to heat , it's fast and leaves the floor very clean . It states that it cleans up to 99.9% of Bacteria . I am using this Karcher on my vinyl flooring in my hallway which my dogs get dirty with mud and fur and on my kitchen tiles . They have come up extremely clean, ( so much so it actually changed colour ) and it's taken me far less time to complete the task that I would normally do with a spray mop .Karcher is a great name and well known for its steam cleaners , I think this is the best Steam Cleaning Mop and I highly recommend it . Yes it may be more expensive than some on the market but you have a warranty and Karcher aren't going out of business anytime soon .

I ordered the Karcher SC3 upright steam mop for cleaning a mixture of floors in my house. The unit has a mode selection switch for the following modes:Tiled FloorWooden FloorCarpeted FloorEach setting adjusts the steam output of the mop to suit the cleaning of each surface.Putting the unit together was easy, very intuitive design, I didn’t really need the instructions – although I checked just in case!My previous steam mop packed in after a year or so but I notice this unit comes with a water filter so this will prevent limescale building up and give the unit a longer life.Once plugged in you push the power on button to start the unite. There is a light at the front which changes from red to green when steam is available,then you just push the trigger button and push the mop along the surface to be cleaned.The first surface I used it on was a tiled floor, the shine on the floor afterwards told the whole story, the mop cleaned the floor perfectly.The unit worked well on the wooden floor too which uses the least steam output.What I was most surprised about was how well the carpet came out after a once over from the mop, a really noticeable difference.See attached photos and videos of the mop in use and some before and after photos.Overall, I found the unit very easy to use and it cleaned surfaces brilliantly.Note: I accidentally left the carpet attachment on when using on hard floors once and it still cleaned them really well!

Review and testing the new Karcher sc3 upright easyfix opening the box taking everything out I assembled within 2 minutes it's very easy to assemble filled the cartridge with tap water the hardness for the water needs to be set now I'm ready to go when switching on the machine it goes to the highest level pressing the top lever press it to number one which is wooden floors three wooden floors in my house and 2 lino floors off we go then with the back room floor went round the room within 5 minutes it was very easy to move about and was not too wet after I had finished then I started on my kitchen floor same again within a couple of minutes and I've finished then to my bedroom went round thefloor also able to get under my bed 5 minutes and then we've done every time you switch off and restart it goes to the highersetting I feel the machine up again with water and off I went again to my bathroom 5 minutes around the lino floor and was done looked at the white pad it was filthy you could wash and clean the bad to finish what you're doing but you are better getting some replacements overall impressions of the machine very good for wooden floors and lino floors easy-to-use not got tile floors and not short piled carpets so cannot comment on them [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Karcher S3C upright steam cleaner is simple to use and takes the strain out of mopping the floors. Quick and easy to set up out of the box this sturdy floor cleaner was working in 30 seconds of switching on and is able to clean a variety of floor surfaces. I successfully and quickly cleaned my tiled kitchen, bathroom and porch floors. Using the Karcher's variable settings it easily dealt with wooden laminate and stone floor tiles, it also managed a linoleum floor in the batroom. I was able to cover a large floor area very quickly and I found it a lot easier than my usual mop and bucket. My laminate floor cleaned easily and I did not have to worry about damaging the wood flooring through usingtoo much water as the Karcher steam cleaner used just the right amount of steam to get the job done. Cleaning a large or long floor area may require the swapping of plug sockets or the use of extension leads due to the 5m cable length, but it is still less troublesome than refilling buckets of water. I was able to use the easy glide feature to steam my carpeted floor and found it could remove light stains and gave the carpet a fresher look. The S3C upright steam cleaner has made the challenge of keeping my floors clean a lot easier and quicker. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

To be honest , at first it took me quite a while to figure out the instructions. It could have been a bit clearer. But once put together it is great. Very quick heat up time. Easy to fill. There is a anti limescale cartridge so that should prolong the life of the cleaner. It is very effective, cleaning as it says with only tap water and it is good to know that with the steam the germs are killed too and it really loosens the dirt and doesn't take much effort.The handle is a good long length so it is easy on your back. It also reaches well under furniture. You will have to purchase more cloths (around £15 each) I think. It does come with one, but it would be good to have a replacement cloth for when one is in the washing machine.Also the replacement anti calc cartridge costs around £14 and I don't know how long it will last with lots of use. That being said, for an environmentally friendly cleaning system for the house without the use of chemicals this is worth it when you consider how much you might have spent on spray floor cleaners etc.I haven't yet tried it to refresh rugs with it as I am not sure that you should really steam wool rugs in case they get felted and the fibres shrink but I will investigate that one. But for hard floor cleaning - excellent.

A review for Karcher SC 3 Upright EasyFix 15133010, Steam Mop, Yellow, 1600 W, 52 Decibeles.A very capable and powerful steam mop which is great to use. Assembly is easy easy and it should be ready to use in around 5 minutes, including filling and selecting the suitable settings. The upright design makes this effortless and quick to use to mop even large areas quicker. The powerful 1600W heater ensures quick heating up to operating temperature in around 30 seconds, the 3.5 bar pressure gives this a good level of pressure to make cleaning effortless. Comes with a 0.5 litre water tank capacity gives coverage of around 60 square metres. The 5m cable ensures a wide coverage area is possible from a single socket,since the whole unit weighs around 3kg means it isn't overly heavy and cumbersome. Adjustable steam for different floor types of floor makes it a versatile steam mop. It is a little pricey for a steam mop however having used a variety of steam mops over the years, this beats every one of them hands down. Overall very powerful, practical and well built steam mop from Karcher, a premium price you get a great product.

A fantastic product, you can really feel the quality. Having thoroughly tested for a weeks now, I would definitely recommend. Always wanted a steam cleaner and I chose this brand as others had positive things to say about their other products.It's very easy to assemble. Plug the steamer in and choose from the 3 settings depending on floor type you're cleaning, then wait for the LED light to tell you that it's reached optimum temperature. Simply press the button and start cleaning. I've used it on hard floor and carpet. It's so much easier then using a conventional mop and spray and it's saved a lot of time. It slides without much effort and results are clearly visible. The water takes about 30 seconds to heat , it's fast and leaves the floor very clean.Overall,I have no regrets.For the techy people, like myself;It has a powerful 1600W heater producing 3.5 bar pressure. Comes with a 0.5 litre water tank capacity. It's nice and light weighing around 3kg and the decent 5m cable ensures a decent sized area cleaned without having to find another power socket. For those that don’t have a steam floor cleaner, they are great pieces of kit, especially if you have pets or children. You always feel the floor is surgically clean and without the use of chemicals. This cleaner looks typically Karcher with its distinguishing yellow livery. The unit is lightweight as these things go, and very simple to use. It doesn’t use detergent like our old one, but I have always questioned the need. This works fine without. It has a removable and machine washable pad. When you look at the colour of it after use, you can see how much it picks up. You simply fill it with water, turn it on, and wait for it to heat up (less than a minute) and away you go. The head is fairly flexible,so it is easy to get under tables etc. It also comes with an attachment that allows it to be used on a carpet, but I haven’t needed to try that yet. With onboard cords storage, it doesn’t take up much space for storage either.Simple, and does the job without fuss.

Easy to assemble and set up following the detailed instructions. First use was on hardwood flooring exceptional cleaning with floor dry almost intantly. Similar exellent results on composite bathroom flooring. Tried lounge carpet, vacuumed and cleaned first, then treated with steam mop. This really improved the appearance of the carpet which also looks much cleaner. Had similar impressive results on solid stone floors and composite changing room flooring.A couple of minor criticisms, there is no level line on the water reservoir (althought 0.5 litre came to the top of the cartridge) and the 5 metre power cable was found to be a little short on some occassions and 6 metres may be a better length.Overall a very impressive hard flooring cleaner which is quick and easy to use,leaving a virtually dry surface almost immediately after cleaning. After 2 weeks using the Karcher Steam Mop I can honestly say that we will never go back to a normal mop ever again. Firstly the ease of use, no filling buckets in the sink or mixing formulas... just fill the small container, switch on and 30 seconds your good to go. The steam means stains come off hard flooring with barely any scrubbing and overall makes the floor so much cleaner faster without having to wait for drying. One thing we really liked that we did not know is that you can steam mop your carpet with the attachment. This is great especially considering we have a one year old who is constantly rolling around on the floor and for extra peace of mind it’s great to think we can kill the bacteria in the carpet as well as hoovering now.The Karcher mop is definitely a highly recommended product from our household. 5 Star! The Karcher SC3 was easy to assemble and set up. On first use it was easy to fill and with the different settings I was able to change from vinyl, tiles to carpets conveniently. The different modes are convenient as they light up when using on vinyl or carpets. The machine is compact, nice looking and has a good working length of cable. When working on vinyl it glides over easily and the steam cleaning pressure gives a good finish to the vinyl. When cleaning the carpets you add the attachment and I was really happy how this moved with ease over the carpet, giving it a fresh look as this appeared to raise the pile to give the carpet as good as new look. With it being easy to dismantle and transport,I decided to take this to my Daughter's to clean her floors and she was impressed by its performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This steam cleaner comes well packaged and needs to be put together, which is simple and the instructions are good. The tank only hold 500ml of water and the water softener cartridge, but this was enough to do my whole downstairs laminate flooring.The Karcher water softener can be set to four different levels, so should work with even very hard water. I have not had it long enough to know how long the cartridge lasts.It also has different levels of steam for laminate, carpet and tiles. The water unit attaches to the hand unit of the cleaner, but it is still quite light.I found that this worked really well on the laminate flooring and the carpet without leaving a them wet,or indeed much more than slightly damp.I found this to be the easiest steam cleaner I have used and I have tried quite a few over the years.
