We bought this to tackle the mould on the bathroom grouting, but so far we've only tried it out on our glass oven door. The door was very grimy and the first tool I tried, the plastic brush didn't even touch it, so we tried the wire brush on an inconspicuous corner and it worked a treat, ended doing the whole door and it didn't scratch the glass. Good range of tools, heats up quickly. Only drawback is lack of capacity in the tank which means you have to keep refilling it. I would recommend this.

I bought this product after reading the good reviews and wanting a hand held steamer to clean some grouting in my bathroom. It heats up quickly and is powerful. After a couple of attempts the tiles did look much cleaner so I was pleased with my purchase and have used it a couple of times since to clean other things i.e. Cooker ventilation hood. The only downsides for me are that it can feel quite heavy after a while of using it. Also one of the bristle extensions is beyond repair after one use.

I love this product, so far only used in bathroom with excellent results. This machine still requires some degree of labour on your part, but it has allowed me to remove stubborn stains and build up that I previously could not shift.Also once the steam has run out you will have wait roughly 10 mins for the machine to cool down before you can remove the cap, so if you have larger/stubborn areas to clean this won't necessarily cut down on cleaning time, but the end result should be worth

This is a nice quality jug steamer. It's sturdy but a touch heavy compared to others I've used.It heats very fast and the amount of steam you get from one fill is very good.The first one I bought had to be returned after two uses as the lid/release valve jammed solid. The second one has been fine so far but as with all steamers, you have to wait a long time in between refills for it to cool and the valve can be difficult to remove for anyone elderly or with hand issues like arthritis.

I love my hoover steamer and have used it a lot since I got it. The different attachments are great for a range of different cleaning jobs. It did a great job cleaning the oven, cleaning and disinfecting my mattress and defrosting the freezer quickly. The only improvement I could suggest would be if they could develop a cordless model. Although the cord is a generous length so is long enough to reach for all of my needs. I would definitely recommended. I think it is good value for money too.

. You put the water in, wait for it to boil, then you can use it, but I find the steam only last for about 20-30 seconds before you have to wait for it to ‘boil’ again. So you are constantly using, waiting then using again. Then after 10-15 minutes you have to fill up with water again, but only after it’s cooled down.The design is ok apart from the location of the locking switch which I found got in the way when holding the steamer, my index finger was sore from the switch digging into it.

I use a steam cleaner for cleaning my wood burning cooker every week and mine went bang and that was that. I ordered a new cleaner direct from a manufacturer but that failed to arrive. Several emails later they admitted that were out of stock and refunded me. I ordered from Argos and they sent it up to me the same afternoon from my local store and after a quick check I gave the stove it’s weekly clean.Only criticism is that the small surface tool’s cleaning cloth is very small and flimsy.

Some will no doubt find it sad that I am so enthused by this product but it is absolutely ‘ace’ as far as I am concerned. Having set to, cleaning out the kitchen at the start of lockdown, as we prepared for it to be painted (now on hold!), it has become invaluable as I have embarked on a full house deep clean. Used carefully, and wisely, there is almost no job you can’t tackle with it and it makes tasks easy and ‘lightweight’ i.e no hard scrubbing. Everything comes up gleaming. 110% happy.

I can't give a comprehensive review of this product as I have used it for only 1 function ; steaming cat urine from a fabric sofa. Prior to steaming the odour was thick and unbearable. After numerous steaming sessions I can barely tell she ever did the deed. The product was easy to assemble and quick to fire up. During use I am pleased with the flow of steam it produces. I compare the steaming process to that of mowing the lawn or ironing - quite satisfying and in some way therapeutic.

This was just what I needed after my bulky vax kitchen and bathroom cleaner broke. I mainly wanted it for cleaning the fiddly bits on the toilet seat, which it does brilliantly. I was also inspired to do the seals around the fridge and the skirting boards in the kitchen. It’s so easy to set up and use, lovely long cable. It’s not over powerful either so it doesn’t spray the dirt everywhere like my old one did. Slightly disappointed that I got a red one rather than blue but never mind!

Quite powerful as for little machine. Done well on various jobs. Water last for quite a bit. Downsides are it loose pressure so need to wait every minute or so for 20-30sec to heat up. Ready to use light is on the other side of kettle so if you right handed you won't see it when working. Not very practical as you need to press and hold button on the kettle and work with hose in the other hand- if you need to hold the object you working on that tricky also if for longer period of time

At first I thought the steam output was poor and when the trigger appear to jammed I returned it for another, the steam output was much greater on the second unit, and the trigger was not jammed on the first, there is a locking mechanism below the trigger housing which I did not notice, now just 3 weeks later one of the attachments, the extended spout has broken, I have been using it every day, I will have to wait until the stores are open again to get a replacement.I still like it

What a great purchase ! Compact, Light, well-made, no larger than a medium size kettle. The steamer is robust and well made, But heavier than I expected. It works well around sinks, toilets, worktops,kitchen units, bins and tiles, removing grime without any chemical products. Attachments easy to use and instructions clear. A long length of flex and a long hose directs steam exactly where you want it. The lid will not undo to empty the water out after use until the machine has cooled down, as the pressure needs to reduce, so be aware. This is a safety feature.

This is the best hand held steamer we've ever bought. It was purchased as a replacement for a family member's steamer we'd borrowed that had gone faulty so we tried the Hoover & were amazed by how good it was.The power & strength of steam coming out cleared a heavily iced up freezer in minutes which was amazing as the borrowed one took twice as long. We're now going to purchase our own Hoover Steamer as I don't want to be without one. We'd definitely recommend it.
