I have had the SC 1 Easyfix steam cleaner for a couple of weeks and am absolutely delighted with it. I have used it on windows, tiled floors, hard to reach corners, the Aga and various taps with excellent results. I find it very light to carry and use which is important for my shoulders which can be very painful if I overload them. Unlike my previous steamer, from another well-known manufacturer, the SC 1 is very easy to assemble and disassemble, and it works. The steam lasts a surprisingly long time. I agree with another reviewer that a longer flex would be useful - another metre or so. I have put a one metre trailing socket in the bag with the tools, which has solved that problem.

Great cleaner, very handy, quite light, and easy to use. Seen reviews saying have to wait to cool before refill, but you don't, just make sure all steam is out then you can open it. No need to turn off. Only annoyance is that when first turned on or refilled, you have to wait a few mins, and/or keep pressing the button to release water, otherwise you'll have a massive puddle of water on the floor or window sills. But once you have waited then the steam and power from it is amazing, and loud!

After my Shark steamer gave up I purchased the Karcher to disinfect the house during rhe Corona virus outbreak. Easy to use; heats up quick, gives a high pressured blast of steam thats easy to direct on doorknobs, kitchen surfaces and in the porch - pretty much anywhere. The floor cleaning attachment is great. One word of caution; on opening, the water chamber depressurises and gives a blast of steam. Its fine; just be quick to move your hand away in time. Highly recommended.

Been wanting one of these for sometime. Cleans well for light areas and places that are hard to get too (around sinks and kitchen units). However I found it didn't clean areas with a bit of dirt build up, oven grills, etc. This may just take some time and scrubbing but I was hoping it would help and be easier. Steam also doesn't last very long so will take a few top ups if you are cleaning the whole kitchen. Overall happy but was hoping for slightly better results.

Steam mop is easy to use and cleans fantastic, takes stains off floor that normal mopping won't take off! No more on hands and knees scrubbing tiles! The only cons I have is that it would have been nice if it included the Flexi hose for when using with the powerjet nozzle. Also would be nice to have a high/medium/low setting so it could be used on laminate floor on low setting, I would not recommend using this on laminate as the steam power is all or nothing!

Great steam cleaner, you do only get 5 minutes of steam - as the description says - so it takes 2 stints to clean a medium sized kitchen floor (if the floor is textured, if floor is smooth, 1 session will clean it). My only gripe: the power lead is not 5m, as stated in the description, it is 4m, this means I have to move the electrical plug to reach the end of my hallway. Annoying.

Well designed & sturdy, can get a little heavy cleaning widows that are high up (note, the window cleaning attachment is an extra so has to be purchased separately, but not over expensive. Shop around) If there is one small downside the water capacity is quite small but this I think is done to keep the weight down, otherwise a great little cleaner & well worth the money

Having recently purchased this SC1 I found it very easy to use and simply adapts for each type of application. The only slight downside is that the water reservoir is very small and only provides short operating cycles. If found that by using small bursts of steam rather than continuous operation it worked out much better. As usual with Karcher it’s a quality product

Bought this a few months ago and find it easy to use and it makes cleaning a pleasure. Particularly areas that are difficult to reach, like the inner rim of the toilet or around sink holes. Steaming is powerful and yet effortless. Saves me to use so much chemicals which m makes it environmentally friendly and yet very efficient. Can highly recommend it.

I didn't want a big machine as I already have one that I now find to big for me to use. It does get through the water fast but it's a trade off and it doesn't take much to refill it. The cleaning is pretty good and so was its defrosting. Im just about to do the cooker so hopefully I can report back on how it performed on the worst dirt in the house!

I have wanted one of these for a while now so when I seen it on offer I was delighted. I have used it a few times now on various things and it's really good, however, it can be quite cumbersome. It would be better if the flex was longer and the steam switch was on the top of the hose so as to give you a free hand.

I purchased the Karcher steamer to replace my previous steamer that I had been using for at least 10 years. The reviews on this steamer seemed positive. It is doing the job well, however you do have to keep your finger on the button to keep continuous steam which is difficult if you have arthritis in your hands.

Karcher is such an amazing brand and this steam cleaner does not disappoint.. it's so good! So easy to use and cuts through difficult areas like grease in a heartbeat. I even removed splashes of paint from tiles. I only wish I could afford others in the sc range.. a fantastic product by a great company.

I was apprehensive at first as I thought maybe it was too good to be true but I am must admit I have found this steam cleaner brilliant. I thought it was a wee bit slow starting up at first but once it go going, hey! I'm happy, not too happy doing all the cleaning mind but it made it so much easier.

Very excited about using it but putting it together was a disappointment. The water container runs out of water before finished a medium size room. Top heavy but the water container is good quality but the rest is cheaper materials.Going by the brand I expected better not a patch on a shark make .
