I have had Chicco Youniverse Fix car seat for three weeks now. As a mother of 4 and 2 years old children the safety during a car drive is paramount for me. The huge advantage for me is that I can use it for both my children whenever there is a need and I can use it till they are 12 years old. The design is very impressive, there are safety pads and booster cushion that keep the children safe and comfortable. The car seat is quite heavy comparing to other car seats that we owed but this is the price to pay for the stable construction of the seat and child’s comfort and safety. It was challenging for me to learn from the installation book that came with the seat how to instal the car seat.

My preschooler has been using this seat for about a week and he loves his new seat. This seems a lot less bulky than other seats I have used. I would often often have to move seats from various cars and I would usually dread this. Once I read the instructions I was able to use the isofix function quite easily.... flick the orange lever at the front under the seat and also pull towards you to release. It slots into the car easily in a few moments and I like the extra feature of strapping in behind the seat.I have played about and I think this will be easily adjustable for different ages. I like the handy feature of keeping instructions in the back compartment.Great car seat and much cheaper than others I have used.

I got the youniverse fix car seat a few weeks ago and i love it. It was a bit hard to install at the start but thats probably just me as i’m not the greatest when it comes to car seats or installing stuff and I found the instructions difficult to understand but my partner got it installed first go. Its really comfortable and my baby loves it. It has three reclining positions to fit each stage of growth and will do us right up through the years. It can be installed with or without the isofix so if your car doesn't have isofix fixtures it doesn’t matter but both easy to install either way. If my baby falls asleep in the car she looks comfortable and its easy to recline when required.

We’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I think it great. I like how you can either use isofix or just the standard belted way. So it can be used in any car. My little girl absolutely loves it. The only downside is that to change it from the five point harness to use just thw notmal seat belt in the car is very tricky. It took me a while to try and decipher the instructions on how to do it as they weren’t very clear. But we got there. Apart from that isnt a bad thing, very sturdy and you know it will protect your little one and the other plus it will grow with them up until 13 years old. So well worth the price. I have been very impressed by the quality of this car seat! All of the components are well made and sturdy. My five year old daughter fits in it well and finds it comfy. It was easy to follow the instructions to remove the baby straps and using the isofix is incredibly easy and gives peace of mind that the seat is fitted correctly to the car. It is not the most exciting design, but I personally like it's simplicity. The covers are washable, which I find essential. I am also impressed with how easy it is to recline the seat and adjust the head rest. A high quality, comfy car seat that I would highly recommend!! The first thing i need to say is that this car seat comes with top tether so if your car does not support a top tether then this is not for you. When initially taking it out the box I was surprised by how heavy it is. It comes with isofix built in, which took me a while to work out how to fix in the car even with reading the instructions. Once that was sorted it was relatively easy to install. It is very padded and my daughter sits it in very comfortabley. It grows with your child as well. Altogether i was very impressed and would recommend to anyone with a top tether in their car. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

LOVE this car seat for my little girl! Once fitted with isofix the seat is rock solid and doesn’t move an inch. The padding is very soft and my little one is very comfy in there. All of the adjustments are easy to make and very quick to do. We did have a bit of bother getting the isofix system to release from the chair so it could be installed - the pictures weren’t clear about the handle that needed to be pulled to fully release them. The car seat is really quite heavy so it feels really solid. The manual was easy to read so setting it up in the car was very easy and great that it’s isofix. It offers really good support and a small insert that you can take out later. I have never seen my baby as comfy as she was this. The tilt is really good to make it even more comfortable. The 5 point Harness can come out for you to just use the seatbelt as well as an imsert, which is means it grown with you child. Great bit of kit so would highly recommend. Really impressed with this car seat, it feels sturdy and safe. My little one is very content in this seat and I feel much more relaxed knowing he is comfortable and safe. The only downsides I found were the weight of the seat as it is very heavy and I also found the installation very tricky. Not too much of an issue if its going to be staying in the same car, however, if you will need a seat you can move from car to car or will have to remove often its not ideal. This is a great car seat for my baby who is almost 2 so it’s a great transition from baby car seat to this one which she should be able to use for a long time it’s sturdy it’s the only tiniest issue I have when she’s asleep there is no neck support so her neck goes down and looks like she’s really uncomfortable but I sit next to her and manage other then that one issue we love this car seat and we will use it for many years to come hopefully [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Easy to follow instruction booklet car seat can be used with isofix or without isofix base is solid and heavy so does not budge carseat fixed on isofix can recline upto three positions to make comfortable for your child. What i like about the carseat to is you can use it from 12 months up to 12 years so it grows with your child defrintly reccomend to family and friends as it is a good solid carseat and base [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I LOVE this car seat. Initially I found it a bit difficult to set up but once it's up it looks great. You can tell it's made from really high quality materials . I feel quite safe with my boy in this seat. I spent so long researching car seats and I am so glad I now have this one. I needed a cheap but safe car seat to put into my husbands car. We tried this one as it was cheaper than the others but were a bit worried about it being so cheap. Happy to say it's great carseat, my boy looks very comfy in it. Only thing to note is this seat does not rear face (or I haven't found put how to put it into rear facing position). The car seat is easy to install using the isofix points and top tether. Very smart sleek design. It has 3 recline positions which is handy for little ones although I use this seat for my 4 year old. He reports it’s super comfy and is happy during journeys so a thumbs up from him! Very versatile seat that will grow with your child so a great long term investment. Received this chair about 3 weeks ago and I am very pleased. It’s so easy to fit, looks great and I am over the moon with how safe I feel my 3 year old son is.
