I bought this when there was free delivery, so it was a great buy. Basically there are three different colours and each colour has three shapes. The little book (with its own stand) is divided into several categories from beginner through to expert. There is a durable plastic board and it comes with its own carry bag (handy for trips to the pub!!!).The book gives clues regarding where each piece should be put, either by colour and/or shape. It is simple enough for older children (8+) to use and still think they are playing rather than learning, but equally, having taken it to the pub one lunch time,an intermediate game had several 40 and 50 year olds scratching their heads!!!Would definitely recommend.

I AM 'CHOCOLATE FIX'ated. I bought this because I have several other THINK FUN games and have been pleased with them all. This one is easy to play with challeges of increasing difficulty. Several of my friends have played and have said they will probably buy their own game or know of someone that they would buy it for. Its a bit like a sudoku but with colour and shapes instead of numbers. The challenges are on a spiral bound stand which keeps them all together. (Some of my other Think Fun games have challenges on separate cards which can be fiddly)I have taken it to school and played it with some of the children I teach and they have enjoyed it.I recommend this to anyone who likes to solve problems.

This is a really attractive and challenging game for a wide age range.I have successfully used the easier levels in a special school with children who have very short attention spans. Most puzzles are discarded by them in seconds, but this had one or two engrossed for some time. It is very rewarding when your arrangement matches the card book. The format is attractive and non-threatening, yet the challenges are mind-stretching and cleverly graded for difficulty. It would suit more able children and adults too.The game pieces are strong and well-made and are easy to store - a great feature, since no one wants to play games with pieces missing.

My daughter liked chocolate shapes that interested her first and she tried some questions herself, she only could do up to level 3 but that was ok. My daughter is only 5. I can do easily up to nearly end but it gets harder pretty quickly. It is just like Sudoku but this one only has 9 grid and rather than numbers, there is shapes and colours. Each page of booklet has clues and next page is answer. Very simple but quite challenging even to adult. If you like Sudoku, this will occupies you for a while but it is predominantly for younger audience. For that purposes I think it might have needed a little more easy levels added to the booklet....

This is a great product. I got it for my 8 year old niece who is very intelligent but not always logical. We spent some time doing the `easy' puzzles together but didn't get much further, so I cannot comment on how hard they get. This is really unusual and a great way of getting children thinking logically whilst using beautifully crafted and coloured pretend chocolates...genius. I think this will be a great product to use on a rainy afternoon and would be great for those children who like a challenge. I have marked it down only because it won't last forever, once the puzzles are done that's the end of it.

ThinkFun is not the only company that makes one-player logical problem-solving game-like activities with graded problems on cards, and clever physical materials to manipulate as you solve. But ThinkFun is certainly, in my opinion, the BEST of these companies. The Chocolate Box model provides the perfect rationale for a 2-dimensional grid in which to place "counters" (chocolates) with different logical-spatial attributes, according to logical rules.Perfect for clever self-motivated children, and good for adults, too!John Gough -- Deakin University (retired) -- [email protected]

I worried that this would be a kids game, but it's actually brilliant. If you like sudokus and rush hour or hotspot etc (or my favourite of all, Lunar Lockout, which has become really hard to get) then you'll love this too. There's a whole book of puzzles and the advanced ones get really hard, so you won't get bored. It's beautifully made as well, with not many parts so they won't get lost. Small enough to take as a travel puzzle. A really nice present for any puzzler.

As a gifted program teacher, this and other “Think Fun” games are developed to teach children how to solve the problem. Children and teens of all grades love these games ! They are durable and invitingly beautiful! My grandson, Mason is always excited to solve one or two problems, feel successful and run outside to play! It’s a great break from computer games.

Thinkfun manages to make this a great brain teaser and still be a really fun game for the whole family. Once you finish all the levels, it gets a bit boring so it would be great to have online extra levels on a website. But it lasts enough to be a highly recommended game. We enjoyed so much that we also purchased some to offer them at birthdays.

Excellent solo brain teaser game. The kids just need to understand the concept of how you play then they can play be themselves.Good selection of different levels and quality product.Would be better still if the maker put addition levels online for download.Better than the usual tat out there for kids recommended

This game is suitable for ages 4 to 99. This game is a puzzle game using chocolate pieces. The game is good quality and the pieces are made of strong quality plastic. There are three different colours and three different shapes. This is a great game for any age and can be played by a single player.

Bought two of these now for 7 and 9 year old girls. They love it, as do their mums! The game is good for brain training in logic, and concentration. The whole chocolate theme is very attractive and I suspect an edible version would be very popular but wouldn't survive long enough to be solved!

Bought this game for my husband for Xmas. Now the whole family queuing up to have a turn.He loved it and often will play whilst having his breakfast or if has a few minutes to kill.Would like to buy some extra cards as 40 puzzles is not too many. All in all very good.

Bought three sets of this game to use in games club at school with year 3 & 4 children. The children really enjoy playing the game and tackling the challenges. The challenges start off easy and then get progressively harder. Would definitely recommend.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter. She's hardly been near it! Great fun for adults too. Addictive and complusive - you just have to try the next one and then the next one. I bought it based on Amazon reviews so thank you.
