I have been on a search for a low-profile hiking shoe. I have hiking boots but they are heavy and cumbersome. I took a chance on this last paid in a 6W. I go between 6W or 6-1/2 if Wide isn't available. I put them on and they feel sturdy and conform to my feet perfectly. I so wish I could find them in red but the brown are practical. Can't wait to get out on the trails and really give them a test. If they don't perform up to the five stars I've given them, I will edit my review.

Love the fit, the red color how tough the shoes are. I hike 2 twice daily and so far these shoes are slip proof, toe protecting, water proof and comfortable!

They are a little higher around the ankle than expected but comfortable.
