I have already got a pair of Hanwag approach shoes and they are just simply fantastic. This time I wanted a lighter pair just for walking around town, when travelling or on easy terrain walks. These definitely fit the bill, they are surprisingly lighter in weight than I expected and are very comfortable. They also look pretty good too. Well worth the investment.

Hanwag boots and shoes fit my european (genetically) foot and are by far and away the most durable and comfortable footware. They may cost twice as much but they last 10X longer. They are the only brand I do not destroy in short order (they are actually made for off sidewalk use).

Overall this is the best shoes I have ever owned. very comfortable and also functional. Highly recommended.

Great looking shoe, take a while to break in, but after that are tremendously comfy.
