Glen Garioch pronounced Geery (Doric) is distilled just few mile from where I live in Aberdeenshire. It's startling but not surprising that I can purchased this cheaper from Amazon than I can from the distillery shop.This is mighty fine Single Malt but possibly not a ideal for whisky virgins, forgive me, I don't mean to sound pretentious but in my humble opinion this is one of those whiskies that takes a little bit of work to appreciate and get the most out of. It's none chilled filtered which is pleasant change these days but it does contain caramel though. Obviously contains some younger whiskies, it's a NAS (No Age Statement)

I was looking for something different, and from the detailed description in my Whisky Book, I decided to purchase this one - and I wasn't disappointed. I found it to be smooth around the mouth, followed by a late warmth down the gullet to the stomach.

Glen Garioch has been one of my favourite whiskies for many years. Consistent quality, light and full of rich flavours. The Founders Reserve is well priced and excellent value. I love it. Highly recommended.

Have purchased two or three times. I’m not a big whisky drinker as I find them to hard but I found this one to me smooth and full flavour. I highly recommend this product you won’t be disappointed.

The first time l have sampled Glen Garioch A very good Dram, smooth with a pleasant nose.A Dram to share with your friends.I would buy this product again.The Man from the North.

This is obviously an NAS whisky, at first taste it's a little gauche. After the first taste though, it evolves into a supremely enjoyable whisky. Can't fault this in any way.

This comes from a fantastic distillery, well worth a visit & you get a taste at the end. I got this for a friend as she loves whiskey and is unable to travel to Scotland.

Dad really like this whisky and its pretty strong stuff as well. Well packed and received very quickly. I would recommend both the seller and this particular Whisky

Drank the whole bottle. Hangover was terrible. Wife left me. Apparently the neighbour's bin is not for number twos. Five stars!

if you like your malts slightly peaty then go for this, leaves the pallet a bit dry but otherwise a good dram.
