Have used a Leatherman for about 20 years now, but needed a cheaper alternative to carry on the motorbike for emergencies. This fits the job great. Used the long nosed pliers to remove the circleclip on the exhaust baffles already - and to replace them. Handy holster as well, but I keep it in a small tool roll. Not quite as fully featured and 'strong' as my original (lost) Gerber 800 Legend but even so a great go to tool when space and weight are at a premium.Blade is sharp, pliers are well machined and I find it makes a great addition to my mountain bike saddle bag alongside a dedicated bike multitool.Over the years I've had a few pocket knives/multi tools from Gerber - Chameleon, Legend, Nautilus, Grylls etc - and have never been disappointed...They're secreted into various toolboxes, hobby kits and I even bought a second for the car glovebox in case of emergency.

Bought this a year ago and it's hands down the best multitool I've ever had. The tools lock in place so it won't chop your fingers off by retracting when leaning into screw something. All implements are high quality and still work after a year of good use. Be careful using the straight blade near hard surfaces as denting or blunting is easy but the serrated blade is durable. Only problem is the saw the teeth are too small for my liking and it's about an inch too short for any real use but I have never needed a small saw so I just ignore it.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. I own a different brand multitool which works just fine too, but we are both Bear Grylls fans (watching his TV shows regularly) and I noticed that this item has many more tools attached. I went ahead and purchased it online for him and it has arrived in no time.It has a lovely rubber inlay in the grip, and just feels solid in the hand. Good quality, good looking and at a decent price.My husband has taken to carrying it with him at all times (just in case) in the included carrying case.

Great tool. Seems to have everything I need. Blade extremely sharp and other tools are solid and well made. My only criticism is the pouch is a little fiddly to put the tool away as it has a pocket for the Bear Grylls survival guide and the tool catches on it so needs two hands. You can get cheaper multi tools but in my experience they are not worth buying. This tool is something I have on my belt all the time and gets used many times a day. Great value, great quality.

Great tool and I use it a lot in everyday life:2 problems:1: Quite heavy and bulky for an everyday carry2: the tools have become loose and you don't get the tool to tighten it, I went out and bought them only to find the damn thing rounded on my so now one side of this hangs out a bit,Still it's pretty useful to have around, I've used it for multiple DIY tasks around the house but I'd probably go with a leatherman if I was to replace it.

This is a absolutely great multi tool, use it all the time and comes in very handy, has had a couple of dunts and drops but still works fine and is not even scratched, would recommend To any one looking for a top of the range multi tool, knifes and saw comes very sharp and all tools are superb, has all you need and this multi tool is just as good as a leatherman multi tool. Overall superb tool.

The Bear Grylls Ultimate Multi-Tool is a fantastic piece of kit. It is very well made and very sturdy, which is noticed as soon as you pick it up and feel it's weight. Sadly the same can't be said for the cheap quality pouch that holds it in position on your belt. I lost my Multi-Tool recently after the pouch fell apart whilst in work. For that reason, I'm only awarding it 4 stars out of five.

Extremely well-crafted piece of kit made of durable material. The feel is simply great - feel robust in your hands yet minimal effort to use it. For a change the blades are sharp and the scissors, even though tiny, does a great job.Would absolutely recommend it to anyone going on holiday/camping and even a great tool to keep in your car.

I was quite surprised at the quality of this tool. Very high quality metals used and the product just feels good and well balanced in the hand. Blades are intensely sharp and the pliers grip extremely well. I bought this tool for fishing and to help me look after fishing line, end tackle etc and it is absolutely what I needed.

The actual tool is great, all the individual tools are good and work well. The nylon pouch however is useless, it split after two days and I had probably only put the tool back into it half a dozen times. I think an item of the quality of the tool deserves a far better pouch wether nylon or leather.

It's a heavy tool, not really portable if you are lightweight camping but the selection of tools and the quality is outstanding. There are lighter tools in this range but I love the heavy quality of this unit and the pliers are very powerful, cutting through 3mm steel fencing wire with ease.

Excellent tool but has a poorly designed pouch. It has a small internal pocket which holds the survival guide, but the tool catches on it and won't fit in one handed. Poor design. I've replaced the pouch with an aftermarket leather holder. Miles better

Would of given 5 stars except the cardbard packaging is bent at the top and looks a bit scruffy...not very impressed as this is a gift! Apart from that I'm happy as I got this for half the price I saw it in a shop and my partner will love it :)

Carry this with me all the time. Quality seems exceptional to me (my first proper multi-tool though). Just finished a rear wiper replacement job, where I had to cut off the aluminium insert, using pretty much nothing but this multi-tool.
