Easy to install if your are handy with a drill. You can use it without mounting the unit on the wall. I have mine lower down and the extension stored separately. Quick and easy to charge which for me is free as my small solar panel system will do this on brighter days. Interchangeable parts easy to remove and attach. You can do a full house sweep using the economy setting, not tried the full suction setting as there has been no need. Does exactly what you would expect of a Dyson.Holding the unit for 10-15 minutes can make the skin between your thumb and index finger sore so I just break it up into segments to prevent this. Lightweight and easy to lift from room to room,

This is my second dyson v8. I have one for upstairs and one for downstairs but can get house done with one. No need for my big vacuum its that good, I've given it away.Even on low power this dyson picks up good and lasts 15 to 20 mins then. Comes with all the tools you will need for any floor in particular the hard floor tool gets most use as it goes on almost any surface carpet wood tile etc.I like the led indicator as it tells you battery left.Easy to empty which is good as it seems to pick up so much.I've had the v6 before and I know this is more pricey but it is well worth it especially if you want it to replace a plug in vacuum.

I love Dyson products! Expensive, yes, but worth every penny, in my opinion! I replaced my Dyson v6 Absolute with the v8 Absolute and it certainly lives up to expectations. Longer running time, easier emptying, more powerful and quieter. Also smoother changing of tools. Delighted with my purchase and got it brand new at a good price on the internet - it's always worth waiting a few months after a new model comes out because they soon start to come down in price and you can grab a bargain. And I always sell my previous model on eBay where there is a great market for good quality used items.

i got this as my Hoover was getting to cumbersome to lug up and down the stairs. It is very light and easy to use. I used it once on the max setting on a problem area and wow did it pick up! The rest of the carpet I lowered the setting and it picked up just fine. The only thing is that the cylinder fills up quickly (I have a long haired dog) so I have to remember I keep an eye on it so it doesn't overfill. Easy to empty, easy to attach different heads, easy to charge...basically everything about it is easy. I would highly recommend this item.

Great suction and battery time. Very maneuverable. No bending forward. Great for bad backs, hips, knees. Imortant to me as an above knee amputee. It is quiet. Easy to change heads. Everything great. Only slight and I mean slight negative is its a little heavy on the hand after a full house vac and for me it digs into the top of my thumb knuckle ( the one next to the palm). Love it though and no regrets at all. Would I buy again? ABSOLUTELY! lol.

We already have a Dyson Animal DC47, however fancied a cordless. Begrudgingly paid the asking price for this one but have to admit that it is a bloody great hoover.Light weight, very powerful and quiet. Went over a carpet that I previously hoovered with the DC47 and the amount of dust and debris recovered with the cordless shocked me.Wish they weren’t so expensive but I can only recommend this product.

The attachments are easier to attach, the catches have been improved. The suction is better and the battery lasts longer. It's easier to clean out and the powered brushes do a really good job. Brilliant for the car and the motor home.Only two minuses there are not enough places on the wall hanger for all the attachments and it's much more expensive.

Very handy and lightweight. Can whizz around my bungalow in a flash without any plugging in and out. Only Cons are that power button has to be constantly pressed in to use, also it is expensive. Easily hangs on wall to give a bit extra space in the cupboard. All in all I am happy with it , although not yet tested it out for cleaning car.

After checking out other vacuums I decided to go for this one and I must admit I have not been disappointed. It is easy to use, picks up well, and everything slots together very easily. It has made my cleaning much easier and takes half the time. Very powerful too. Although it is very expensive I do think its worth the extra.

I have looked at cordless vacuum cleaners for a while and read lots of reviews. I am pleased that I chose the Dyson V8 Absolute - it picks up everything in its path (without using the 'boost' setting), and is easy to empty. The battery lasted longer than I expected, so I am very pleased with this machine.

Nothing bad so far. It is very light and easy to use compared with our dc33 upright,tools easy to change, dirt compacted into holder, battery lasts well and it has good suction on normal setting. Not needed to use high power yet and cleans just as well as the dc33.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality and ability of this product. You got to try it to really know how good it is and it has surprised me I thought everyone over exaggerated it but it was far better than my expectations.

This vacuum cleans so much better than my old one! It’s suction is so strong that it vacuums up all the hair stuck in the carpet that I previously had trouble getting.

This is so easy to use, and for a cordless vacuum it cleans far better than the standard vacuum cleaner.Its quicker and carpets look a lot cleaner after use.

So light and no trouble to get out. Just so easy to use. Haven’t used it on carpet yet but on my tiled floors it picks everything up on just the low power.
