I purchased two of these gates and they are great. I particularly like that they are taller than usual too. They are to stop my mother who has Alzheimer's getting into the downstairs room's in the night and have worked brilliantly. They pressure fit securely and have a gate that opens and closes so you can walk through when required. You can still close your internal door with the safety gate fitted . I'm really pleased with the quality of them and would recommend them.

I needed a gate to stop my 16 yr old blind cat from escaping. My kitchen door is open most of the time during warm weather, she had already escaped 4 times, and i live on a main road ..I needed to do something. The gate was fastened just outside the back door, But fitting it, externally,involved a lot of drilling.But an inside compression fitting would have been a dawdle. But my idea, produced an excellent result.Really good gate. Very pleased.

Make sure the gate is at its tightest when fitting so gate does not come open by simply pushing. Other than that when fitted properly well worth what I paid for. Reading other reviews were also useful in my choice. Love the height and stays open if you have something in your hand. Opens both ways and will also close by itself. Very easy to fit.

We had to change the gate between the kitchen and lounge as our 2 year old could open it with ease. This gate is taller and so can’t be opened by him when the oven is on it also has a stay open function which is handy for when he’s gone to bed and we don’t want the hassle of keep opening a gate Worth the time to put it up

Love this stairgate I have the smaller version at the top of my stairs, this taller one gives me a bit more control with dogs and kids:) black is the nicest colour in my opinion plus a big bonus is you cant see dirty finger marks! Easy to fit and easy to open and close but not that easy that little kids can do it.

We had struggled to find one that would go into our walls at the bottom of the stairs. The plastic latch doesn’t feel like it will last a long time- the whole thing doesn’t feel as good quality as other baby gates we have but it’s doing the job and hopefully we won’t need it for too long.

This gate is the perfect height , it keeps my dogs where they should be and no need to bend when opening. I like the button and lift system as apposed to the leaver type, this is easier. Despite the extra height this gate is not at all heavy at all and I love that it closes itself.

Great gate for keeping animals in one room. I bought it for that and to keep my mum from going up the stairs and into the kitchen. My mum has dementia so this is great for keeping her safe and its taller than other gates which is an added bonus.

Great quality easy to fix and now provides me with a quick fix barrier from the main house to hallways when opening the front door with pets in the house. Perfect for safety and peace of mind. Easy to install

Having a 2 year old who climbs all safety gates this was absolutely one of my best purchases would definitely recommend!As soon as I can afford more I’ll be swapping the other safety gates for these ones too!

Just have to read instructions and make sure that you have the opening correct which we didn't at first then just undid the side a little bit and a EXCELLENT GATE with a fantastic easy opening..

This gate is a tall gate that my dog cannot reach the top of it - unlike the last gate which she chewed and scratched to pieces!! This gate is easy to fit and is really wonderful!!

Ideal for keeping those inquisitive little ones safe once they go into beds . Taller than average safety gate so keeps them free to play in their bedrooms but away from stairs

This was purchased to stop a rapidly growing puppy from attempting to go up the stairs. It is both tall enough and robust enough to be perfect for our needs.

Perfect to keep my new kitten and my three boisterous dogs apart. Easy to use and easy to move to any doorway. Thoroughly recommended.
