It was relatively easy to fit. It stays in the door frame and I particularly like the feature of the gate being able to be left open when it is not needed be closed to keep toddlers safe. The catch is at the top of the gate, I am able to open and close the gate whilst holding a toddler. It has stayed in place with a toddler leaning on it and we have followed the manafacturers instructions and we have not had to screw the posts into the door frame. Wide enough for adults to walk through

Having wide doorways of 84cm this was virtually the only option available for our house. The gates, however, fitted easily and although at their maximum width fit in well. Cheaper gates wouldn't fit. These are wide, but also include a stay open function and open in both directions and self close clicking themselves into the locked position. These features make their daily use much easier. They are nice and solid, work really well, and take 5 minutes to fit. We are really pleased with them.

The stair gate is great, easy to install and use.I like the auto close function.The only minor niggle is making sure it’s fitted tight enough at the bottom (where there is no give to help you) . The first time I fitted it my puppy just pushed at the bottom and was out! But I just got a friend (with stronger wrists than me) to tighten it and haven’t had the problem since.I find it really easy to use especially once I got used to lifting slightly as I open it.

Actually brought for our puppy as he has discovered the stairs but is not fully house trained yet, it's perfect for the job, he can't get through the bars even as a tiny pupp. It has a strong self closing door which is handy and it's big enough fit larger gaps than some other safety gates. I would recommend for anyone, it guards off our stairs lovely and is very good quality for the price.

Bought this one to go on landing which is bit wider than door way so other gates to short without extender, this one is perfect and the stay open facility is great cos it doesnt swing about like others do, fitting a bit more fiddly as if not fitting in doorway need the cups attatched and cos its tensioned its almost a 2 man job but good sturdy gate for near stairs

I had looked at so many gates to fit the bottom of our stairs. Most were too narrow to fit the 84cm width needed for the top fixings but if I added an extension they were too wide to fit at the bottom. This one fits perfectly,was easy to put up using wall cups and adhesive pads, was reasonably priced and works well.

Not as solid as my other safety gate but only got this as a temporary measure until my pups learn to climb the stairs. Does its job, easy to fit, easy to open . has automatic closure if not opened fully ( has automatic stay open). Wanted black to match my other gate. Overall a good gate for the price.

Bought this so I could keep the dogs out of a room. It works fine but once one of the dogs got their head stuck in the end section so it wouldn't be suitable for really small dogs. It's also not as sturdy as I'd hoped as the pads on the end do have movement but all in all I am happy with the purchase

Bought this gate to protect the upstairs for a naughty puppy :pThe gate is of good quality and once you manage to fix it, works wonders. But when fixing it to the all is difficult to move both side at the same time to fix properly, but maybe is just me with small arms.

I wish I'd found this before I spent twice as much on what I now consider an inferior gate. It took me about 10 minutes to fit on my own - I don't count my one year old interfeeeing as helping lol.It's self locking and the pressure fit is amazing.Highly recommend.

We bought 3 of these, one for our kitchen doorway (as it is just a frame without a door) and two for the stairs - top and bottom. They were just as easy to install in the doorway as they were the stairs. Simple fittings and fixtures. Would recommend.

This is an amazing safety gate for children. Not only is it safe but there's no need to use screws. If I had known about this one 3 years ago I would of got them instead.It's brilliant and I will be recommending this to all of my friends.

This baby gate I bought for my grand son Max to stop him getting upstairs. well really for my daughter to have peace of mind. she is ever so happy with it. plus being black it matches her decor. Kids Hey lol.

Not a bad gate for the price. I bought it for the stairs to stop my dog going up. Probably not strong enough for a really big dog but works with my mine O.K. My elderly Mum finds it easy to open and shut.

Got the gate to keep puppy in one room and it works a treat! I haven't even put the bits onto the wall to hold it se use so I can move be it to different locations and just tighten against the door frame.
