Perfect for my new baby. I've rated this five stars primarily for the good deal and ease of use. It has also served its purpose fantastically. This little baby gate is great for a small or medium-sized puppy (and I'm sure human babies, too!) although it is a little on the lighter side. If my puppy was determined enough, and one day he might be, he could figure out how to either open the gate or knock it down. It doesn't take much pressure to lift and open the gate part; as well, the yellow top latch stopped being functional after about a week. The whole upper part of the gate is loose now, but the bottom has held fast.Unfortunately, we have molding on the walls by the floor,

The instructions on this weren't brilliant but as it turned out it wasn't that difficult to put together using a bit of common sense! The tension method seems to work really well in our door frame without a door so a really great quick way of getting a safety barrier up without having to do a bunch of drilling. Not tried on stairs - only on doorway. I like the mechanism as it's quite simple and can be done with one hand but is still difficult enough that the dog can't figure out what to do with it so gives us what we need.

Very easy to install but the instructions supplied are pretty poor. It comes with screws which I assume it for people who wants to screw this into the wall however I believe this is optional as it can be used as a pressure fitted one which is what I wanted due to not wanting to leave holes in my wall. Took me a bit of time to actually fit it but that was basically down to my awkward stairs so has trouble fitting. Eventually found a way around it and now it’s up it seems very sturdy and very easy to use.

Bought this for downstairs landing to stop the kids going up and down the stairs whilst at grandparents house. Very good product, sturdy and fits really well. Didn’t need to use the extension as it fits perfectly without it, although gate measurements suggested I would need the extension. However the instructions were not brilliant, but once figured out what needs to be done it’s easy

It's great! I bought 2 of them for my puppy not to go up and down the stairs. My Puppy has got hip dyspalsia problem. Therefore, I want her not to go up and down the stairs and not worsen the issue. These doors are easy to install. But sometimes it's annoying that if the screws get loose, the door might fall over. I have to make sure the screws are all tight once every week.

Gate was pretty much what I thought for price brought it to put on door to stop my dog from getting out. Easy to put together husband had to put tape round extended part of gate to door other wise it keep falling off And opening easy to do but bit hit or miss does what I need it for my dog. Did standard postage but came within two days. Over all good.

Really good gate. We needed the extender as it's for a outside door which is wider than the usual interior doors. We needed it so we can keep the door open without our puppy escaping. It's very secure with a fitting at the bottom as well as the top, so when he jumps against it it stays put. It arrived earlier than expected too.

Set this up today and it was really easy, can use the screws but works with stickers and pressure screws against the wall...took about 20 minutes to put in place.It first felt a little flimsy when I got it out the box, which worried me; but once it was all put together it was great and really sturdy.

Works really well for its intended use which is to stop our muddy springer from racing up the stairs onto the carpet. Added bonus is it now stops my godson getting up there too and being dangerous on the stairs and he hasn’t figured out how to open it yet so fingers crossed that continues. Very happy.

This was such an easy gate to fit and so well designed. Love the fact it opens both ways and locks open as well as shut. The weight bearing is ingenious. It’s easy to install and move as well, not actually requiring the permanent fixtures. We love it. The twins don’t!

We bought this to go across our hallway which is wider than a standard door widtch. The pressure mount fixtures were easy to fit without the need for invasive screws, and the gate has remained in place without movement. It fits the purpose perfectly.

Certainly good enough but sometimes the locking mechanism doesn’t click in properly so be careful when closing and locking it. Double check for safety if you have small kids. It works fine but just make sure it clicks in properly.

I purchased this for use with the extension as I have wider doors. Fits securely and doesn’t move. I like that it leaves no marks and doesn’t need screws/fixings. The lock is effective and the build is sturdy.

I bought this along with an extension for my hallway to prevent the puppy from going up the stairs and attacking the shoe rack by the front door. It took me a few minutes to install and works very well.

They do different sizes so get the one that fits the gap you’re looking to block. It’s easy to setup and sturdy enough. Does the job well. I use it to keep my dog out of specific areas and works well.
