The product is great, just what it says on the tin.I got a text from the delivery company to advise they were not able to delivery and to call their number or website for an update. On calling the number, the automated message confirmed the parcel was delivered, to a neighbour who signed for with a name I had never heard of - no house name or number given.I got home and there was no card to say the parcel had been left elsewhere.I knocked at one of may direct neighbours, who thought the name is similar to a neighbour 5 doors down......thankfully she was right, it was with this 'neighbour'.The neighbour holding the parcel had asked the delivery driver which house number it was for - whilst it was on the package,he told her it was no. 17, when actually we are no. 13 - a marvel I actually received the parcel!!!Though as I say, great product!

Bought this gate to contain our puppy when necessary. It is higher than some gates so perfect for us. We didn't want to fix to the wall so the pressure fitting works well. Didn't think this was going to work when we first opened it it looked out of line we thought it was damaged. This was not the case & when you put it in place & use the pressure pads all comes into line & is very secure. There is a little catch at bottom of gate which flips up to make it more secure. I had cause to contact the company when I thought it was damaged and most of the staff who got involved with emails were extremely helpful & pointed me in the right direction. Only one did I have an issue with the way they answered my emails. All in all a good experience & got the impression a good company to deal with

Product does just what it says - easy to fit and perfectly functional for keeping my three small dogs in the kitchen. I also wanted to commented on the first rate delivery service given by DPD. Not only do they give you a specific day for delivery, but they also offer you opportunity to change the day and then on the actual day they email and give you an hour's slot in which the delivery will take place. It all happened exactly as they said and if I saw other products using DPD for delivery I would opt for them in preference to others. No more hanging around waiting for something to be delivered, or having to travel miles to collect something because delivery was whilst you were out.A great service.

I have a son with special needs who'd started climbing a regular gate on the stairs. I did buy a different brand taller one but this had a very simple squeeze button to open which he did 2 seconds after I'd put it up. (Which took ages as despite checking measurements only just fit!) returned it and started looking for the Lindam one as these are the ones we have at home and he's not worked out how to do squeeze and lift handle. It's slightly thinner than a standard lindham and comes with nuts rather than the plastic rings to tighten to size but fits my stairs perfectly. And is son proof! Happy with price, product and delivery.

Good sturdy gate! I specially wanted one that I could open with one hand in case I had the baby in my arms. You can open this with just one hand bit its a bit tricky given that you have to push the levers in and lift the handle at the same time. At first I did not fully clip the handle down which meant I coule very easily open the gate with just ine hand but its quite dangerous for little fingers so I stopped doing this the miment she was able to stand up. Any way - I mastered the full open with one hand manoeuvre in a couple of weeks so very happy with the gate.

Even though this said a maximum opening of 82cm and min 76cm...this is not 100%trueIn some parts the bottom of the gate is jammed in tight and won't budge which is great. However the top part of the gate could easily be knocked out with some force. No idea why there is such a difference when fitting these gates as I ordered 4 of them. However they do the trick and the little one hasn't been able to open these gates no has he been able to climb up or down the stairs or enter the kitchen whilst cooking.

Bought this as needed a gate for our stairs at home to prevent young grandson climbing and possibly falling. Put into immediate use at another residence to deter young children from entering a 'restricted' area during a Halloween party. Looked wrong initially as the catch did not engage. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Clever design to ensure there is sufficient grip at the upper corner and keep the gate in place. Once fitted it does the job perfectly and catch engages as you'd expect. Good value too!

Really good quality stair gate that never fails. Really easy to set up, was as quick as 10 minutes and use with instant benefits of safety of our children. My 4 year old son with special needs is able to open pretty much every stair gate he comes into contact with, causing us a lot of concern for his safety, but this stair gate is the only one he cannot open! My 7 year old daughter is very capable of opening the gate, so definitely not an issue for anyone with other older children to consider.

It's hard to get excited about a stair gate but this is the second one of these we've bought as they're easy to fit and easy to use. The one flaw is the double locking method. The latch at the bottom of the gate does get caught at one side and you end up nearly going head first over the gate when you push against it without realising. On one gate it has become so loose that it does fall down and lock itself. But again, just need to exercise caution when opening and check that it's not in place.

Had a very early model of the Lindam Easy fit deluxe safety gate which we bought 14 years ago (for the children and now used for our French Bulldogs) and it finally broke so I bought a different gate and as soon as I put it up realised it was no where near as good as our old trusted Lindam gate so we took it back and bought this Lindam easy fit plus deluxe safety gate and am glad we did as it is excellent quality and it opens and closes with ease just like the previous one we had for 14 years.

Bought to stop our puppy going upstairs. You have to pinch in clasps before you can lift the handle which is more designed for use with children. Also had a slight problem with fitting as you have to stick stickers to the wall in the correct places before fitting the gate into place meaning it was slightly wonky but still works fine.It did fit well even though we have a wider staircase than average and the bottom attached to thick skirting board and then to the wall at the top.Would recommend

We got this to replace an old lindam gate. Assumed it would be the same but a different colour handle (old one had the blue handle). This gate is slightly wider so didn't fit our stairs . The walk through space is wider, which is great though. To tighten the gate you have a simple bolt to turn which although is easy, it's less sightly compared to the old style of the hand tightening blue discs. The one handed opening is much the same but is a stronger mechanism which is a bit harder to open.

This is a great safety with one big problem, its really fiddly to erect. I need to use this on my back door when my grandson comes over and I find it very time consuming to erect and take down. You have to screw and unscrew the 4 bolts. I now have it on my back door for a week and the kids have only been over twice, I couldn't be bothered taking it down again. I had a gate like this for my kids 30 years ago I would have thought things had moved on since then. Why not spring bolt mounting?

bought a similar Lindam gate 9 yrs ago, and finish still good,& fits tightly. The fixings were by winding wheel nuts by hand, and when one of these stripped a thread, I bought nuts and used a spanner. The latest gate uses a spanner and so you don't need strong fingers. You'll need a spanner of your own as the one supplied is a thin metal stamping. best to fit washer(s) between the nuts and the plastic inserts in the (metal) gate, so nuts will not chew up the plastic inserts after many uses.

We have put the stair gate on our kitchen door to keep our 1 year old out now that he's toddling about. When he gets in he used to head straight for the oven which he now cannot do. We only had slight trouble fitting it when it didn't quite fit our door frame but we just swapped a few of our stair gates round so the one that was on the kitchen is now on his bedoom. Very happy overall and this is now the 2nd stair gate of this kind we have purchased. We would highly recommend this product.
