This tall dog/child gate is absolutely brilliant.It is so easy to open..one handed,it's very stylish,and i love the dark colour.I bought this because i have 7 chihuahuas,and they always got out the door before me.This has been a blessing,really pleased with it.Now it's so easy to get out,using one hand,and you know they safe inside.The two youngest pups,aged 9 month old,think it's great because they can now see what you doing.This gate is not just for children,it's great for small dogsSandy

Over the last couple of years we have tried various different baby gates and to be honest the saying buy cheap buy twice rings very true. Just save yourself time and money and buy this gate for every opening you need a baby gate for.Reason? Easy. Safe with the auto close and an absolute ease to fit. You may think they are expensive and if you are struggling just hold off a little longer or cut back elsewhere you will see/feel the benefit honestly. Absolutely excellent product!!!

Bought this to limit our puppy's access outside the kitchen and it not only looks good, but is very sturdy, easy to install and the one handed opening system is simple even for 91 year old Grandma in our home. We have fitted it in the door-frame (still being able to use the door) and because it opens both ways so you do not get tangled up and the access is nice and wide. There is a small bar at the bottom, but we soon got used to it and it certainly helps with the stability.

I brought this for my living room door as I don't want our puppy getting in there when we're not around. It's very high so even when he gets big he shouldn't be able to leap over it. It's a great door for a narrow fit, as ours is. We're unable to put the door fittings on as how narrow our door actually is but it works fine without, though you can't lean on the gate for obvious reasons (it'll slip and come out the door frame) .I think I'll be buying more in the future.

This is a great quality safety gate which is excellent for narrow hallways and door opening. It's easy to open and the auto close feature is great. It also has a stay open position which is handy for when the gate is not needed. It's extra tall which is handy when that little bit of extra height is needed. It takes around 6-8 minutes to install when not using the screw fixings as the extra height makes it slightly more tricky to get straight and level.

Great quality baby gate that we actually purchased for confining our puppy in the kitchen. We had a previous gate but he managed to jump it so the tall height of this definitely restricts him now. It’s a sturdy gate and seems good quality. My only complaint would be the automatic closing can be a bit inconvenient when you don’t have a free hand to open the gate. We hold it open with our bin so puppy can come and go to his water bowl when we are home.

Bought this for keeping dogs separate, they fight. It is taller than the 'tall' gates I have so is great for deterring the lurcher from jumping over. Easy to fit, strong and sturdy, easy to use, best feature for me is that it automatically closes, some people forget to close the other gates which leads to the dogs getting to each other and huge vet bills . Well worth the price (it was on sale too ).

After looking for quite some time for an extended gate size like this one, we decide to go for it, even though it was a bit over our budget. A great choice, as it's nice and tall, sturdily built and extra secure when fitted correctly and closed (our little boy shakes it like a gorilla) and it never budges!The extension add-ons are great and when we decide to get the same gate without the extensions.

Used mine at the top of the stairs to stop the puppy going into the bedrooms but can’t see it from downstairs so doesn’t spoil the look of the house. Looks good (better than many gates I’ve seen) and is easy to fit. I like the height which makes it easy to open (even with one hand). Closes shut on its own. If used in a doorway the fact that it can open in both directions would be convenient.

Bought this gate for our puppy as she can jump over a standard gate. The height of this gate is brilliant and the gaps between bars are just right. Fitting the gate can be a bit awkward as the turning parts at the bottom of the gate are very close to the floor aswell as close to the end bar that slightly curves outwards. This makes them hard to turn as you cant get your hand in properly.

Got this gate to keep a tall, nosey dog (Old English Sheepdog, for height reference) out of a room and it works a treat. Great height and it's quite sturdy. It's very straightforward to install as well, although needs a bit of strength to initially wedge it into the gap. I also really like that the gate snaps itself closed once you've walked through it.

I have several stair gates throughout my home all different brands and this one is by far the best I would highly recommend it. Easy to install and use, very strong and brilliant highly. If I need to buy more in future I would definitely buy this brand. This item would also be great for dog owners trying to stop dogs getting into area’s or upstairs.

I absolutely love this gate! When your holding baby & walking through the gate you don’t have to turn back around & try to fiddle the handle to shut it again. I’m tall so opted for the tall gate so I don’t have to keep bending down to the average sized gate, this was a huge bonus. I wish they invented these self close gates many moons ago!

I really love the height of the gate and that it closes automaticly the only problem is that you need to push it down to lock properly, so my 4 year old is not able to this with the result of a little cheeky baby boy in my kitchen everytime my 4 y old goes to the toilet. :-). But if you lock it propperly then it will keeps le bebe out!

This gate is perfect for our toddlers bedroom. He's a climber and can't climb it. The self closing is really useful. We have a wider one for downstairs. It is loud when it closes and sometimes I prop it open, like at night time when my son is in bed. Best thing I have found that money can buy for what I needed.
