Pros- these are very high-quality walking shoes. They are very sturdy and did not let in any rain.- they have excellent grips on the soles. I wore them out in the rain and never once felt that I was going to slip. The soles are also really thick which makes these shoes comfortable when walking over uneven ground and stones (I walked over some horrendous cobblestones near my house and I did not feel a thing!).- they look nice and discrete. They are great if you do a mix of urban and rural walking. When I am walking around a city I don't want to be in big ugly walking boots and these walking shoes just look like trainers.Cons- they are quite stiff so you definitely need to break them in before attempting any long walks.

These are my first pair of Columbias. So far, I've walked/jogged about 25kms of trails in them and I've even worn them up the Grouse Grind in North Vancouver. Almost zero breaking in was required. The length ran true to size for me. I am a size 8 and I ordered an 8. The toe is wide, but I have narrow feet. There is plenty of wiggle room for thicker socks in colder weather. I did find that the boxier toe tended to get a bit 'stuck' in tight crevice areas of the Grind, but overall they provided great balance and support all the way to the top. What I also love is that they are light weight and flexible enough to do some trail jogging. A very versatile shoe. I haven't worn then in the rain yet,

These are really lovely boots. I got a size 5, and they were a bit snug to begin with, but they feel like slippers on your feet, so extremely comfortable than even after a 10 mile hike my feet didn't hurt. It might sound a bit odd but i actually forgot they were on my feet they were so comfy.The grey and blue are nice and very much unisex colours. The Orange accents are nice and give the boot an extra splash of colour.The upper is good quality and so far have proved waterproof walking through wet grass and on the beach.Never heard of this brand before but would happily buy more from them

Firstly - get a size bigger than your usual fit - hiking socks are going to be needed if you do some serious exploring. So we decided to test these in the Peak District and the Staffordshire Moorlands and they do not disappoint- comfortable and does give good support around the ankle. Bit lighter than we thought they were going to be and something that can be used in little quaint coffee shops or country pubs. Overall- great - looks stylish enough for the weekend ramble or running after a bored husband who has seen a pub. Excellent quality.

These shoes look as good in the flesh, so to speak, as they do online. I can't say that even the base asking price appeals to me - let alone the higher figure quoted on Amazon, but, for sure, they are quality shoes. I am pleased that they are quite wide because that allows the use of thicker socks when necessary without impinging on the foot. Only time will tell how long they will stand up to hiking, for example.

Love the style and feel of this shoe. Wore them for the first time in early morning wet grass and I tended fire in them too. My feet were dry and comfortable all day. Plenty of wiggle room for your toes. Good shoe for overall out door activities.
