I wouldn't normally buy walking boots on line, but needs must . . .I felt confident buying from Amazon, as all that I would lose at worst, was a few days. I went up half a size as I wear boots with very thick socks. I wondered whether the boots might be a little big, but, no. The fit was great. Had I been wearing thinner socks, I would have probably needed my usual size.Buying footwear is difficult for me. I have a lot of problems with my feet; sore and tender areas, quite a narrow heel but a wide forefoot, but these were comfortable from the first wear, which was around the house, to the point where I forgot I was wearing them. They are definitely waterproof. The grip was secure on all surfaces and in the rain.

I bought size 39 but what arrived was 38.5. However, my daughter needed a pair of hiking runners and is just one size smaller than me, so they fit her perfectly. I’m totally happy with the Colombia Conspiracy V, but just to advise people to be careful when indicating your size. I did say UK size 5.5, EU size 39. What arrived was size 38.5, indicated as UK size 5.5. Not sure who’s right. I’ve re-ordered a pair of Size 6 (UK) and pray these are correct. It may be a labeling issue.

9 months ago I spent £120 on a pair of waterproof walking shoes that are now leaking, after reading the reviews on these shoes I thought I’d give them a go. Practically half the price of the other shoes they are so light weight and comfortable it’s unbelievable. I’ve been through plenty of wet fields with long grass with the dog and my feet have remained totally dry. Just hope they last.

I love these shoes. I’ve been seeking a replacement after walking 500 miles in them last year until the tip of my heels smoothed out and the shops have replaced them with light and more girly coloured ones. Was delighted to find them on Amazon. thirty pounds cheaper than last year! They have a broad base but are narrower on the foot and the low heel prevents rubbing.

I am very pleased with these walking shoes. They were recommended for light hiking in Country Walking magazine, so I thought I would give them a try.They're ideal for when I'm going to be walking on level footpaths or on pavement, so much lighter to wear than my heavy hiking boots.

Wife already had a couple of pairs of these that she wears for city breaks and walks in general and swears by them, so much so she wanted a black pair for work. She's delighted with them, fit was as expected, comfort is superb and water repellency excellent. Highly recommended!

I am very happy with how this shoe fits. I have the beginnings of a bunion on my fight foot, so I wanted to get a shoe with a decent toe box.

Lovely comfortable wider fitting walking shoe, ideal for me. Did exchange for a bigger size which was fine.
