Having owned numerous steam irons over the years, I cannot praise this iron enough. The anti-drip feature is the only iron I have ever used which actually does not drip water from it's soleplate. Even when dry ironing, not a drop of water is released when steam is switched off. The ceramic wide soleplate glides so easily and makes ironing large items a breeze. The spray button is ideal for that extra burst when ironing difficult areas or ironing delicate fabrics which cannot be steam ironed.

This iron looks fantastic, striking design, looks heavier than it is. It’s quite lightweight to lift and use. Water fill is quick and no spills/overflow. Heats up fast! Indicator light is clear and obvious. Steam control is excellent, with a button to control the amount of steam. Plenty of length to the cord. Glides easily over fabric, I’m usually ironing more creases into things by accident, with this iron it doesn’t happen! Making me happy rather than frustrated like other irons have.

Well designed with some great features making it very easy to use. Good size water inlet/tank with less need to keep refilling. Excellent steam options to tackle any difficult creases effortlessly and the added flexibility to use it vertically. Impressive self cleaning option very useful for hard water areas. A really great feature is the heat indicator strip lets you know when it’s safe to store. Overall good quality but for me it did feel just slightly on the heavy side during use.

This iron has seriously outshone my old one. The ceramic coating means it irons even tough fabrics effortlessly, making light work of jeans. The steam functions are brilliant and I liked the adjustability best as you can control the amount. It has a more pointed tip than some other irons which is perfect for shirts and tricky gaps! Also I loved the safe-store indicator and extra long power cable - it is easily the best iron I’ve used and I would definitely recommend this product!!

This iron has a turdy if somewhat heavy feel to it. The ceramic sole plate glides easily over fabrics and it has a continuous steam output that irons out creases and wrinkles with ease. This iron also has anti-scale technology which prevents the build up of limescale. Love that it lets you know when the iron is cool enough to put away.All in all very good iron, would have given it 5 stars except that I found it quite heavy to handle especially as I have arthritis in my hands.

I'd always believed I just wasn't very good at ironing. Turns out I'd just been using a rubbish iron. This one is a game changer. My crumpled shirts are suddenly crisp and smart again. It has a well-balanced weight and sleek shape which gets to awkward bits easily, and the wide, easy to fill water opening means no more soggy ironing board spillages. Thank you, Breville. You've just doubled the wearable contents of my wardrobe. I'm converted! I might even start ironing my PJs.

I don't usually get excited about things like irons but this one is so good. I like that it has a large hole, making pouring water in easier. It is also the only iron I have had where you can see the measure indicating how much water is in the iron. The tank is larger than I have had previously too. But by far the best think is when using the iron - it glides smoothly over fabrics, the temperature dial is easy to control and ironing is much easier than previously,

I love this iron! It is so easy to use and a nice weight when using, even when it ls full of water with its 400ml tank. It has a self clean mode which does the job perfectly. The cord is extremely long so no problem using it anywhere u want. Buttons on the iron and the dial are right at your fingers so very easy to use and adjust. Love the vertical steam option for giving a wuick blast on clothes in a rush. Would definitely reccomend this iron.

I bought this iron as I wanted something a bit smaller and easier to store than my large steam iron with separate water container after it was dropped and no longer safe to use. +It does what it says for the priceEasy to cleanGood steam output-It’s pretty heavy with full water capacityHas to be refilled fairly frequently Not as powerful as my previous iron, even on maximum temperature

High quality & excellent value. Iron very effective with or without steam. Great and easy to use settings. Stylish design. Most importantly it irons fabulously and is so much better than my last one. Love the self-clean option. Only improvement that could be made is the lid of the water tank being a little higher quality, although it works which is the main thing!

This VIN 406 Press Xpress Steam Iron replaced an elderly Breville with a stainless steel baseplate. I've found it to be well balanced to hold, so no wrist ache. The very smooth ceramic covered large baseplate enables smooth ironing with a professional finish. Note, I am far from a professional, but even I manage to achieve quite respectable results with this iron.

Very happy with this purchase. The wide plate + long cord make ironing much easier+ quicker. The steam output is really good. Replaced my old iron because it started dripping brown water, hadn't realised how low the performance had become until I started using this one. Overall, very happy with my purchase and reasonably priced.

I have been looking for a good iron for years this iron is very much everything I’ve been looking for. With all the functions I need. Very good u can iron your silk clothes on the silk setting it doesn’t burn your clothes. If you are looking to invest in a good quality iron this is the one. Well worth the price I have to admit.

A nicely weighted iron with a comfortable grip does a good job of the ironing. But the temperature dial is too easy to nudge with your knuckles while ironing, potentially increasing the temperature too high! A little more friction in the dial would have prevented this. Other than that, it's a good iron.

First Breville iron ever purchased and really like this one! Irons so smooth, is light to handle and not heavy like some of the other irons used. I like the colour and design of this iron and the long cable is a bonus too. Would definitely recommend this iron.
