Ordered Thursday 30th, arrived Monday 3rd: good.No delivery/packing note. So no actual receipt: bad.I Only found Gerald when removing the website's 'manufacturer' filters. Then almost straight away it came up with what was clearly a descendant of my existing kettle - another Breville.Ketty had developed a break in a wire in his base. I've had him for about 8 years. Normally, our kettles would last only a year because of breaks in wires. This must be because they were moved to be cleaned nearly every day. But for the last 7 years, I've severely limited the number of times I move the base. Perhaps the bases should be heavier.Cables certainly should be far more flexible. As has already been implied,

I bought this as a Which? recommended buy, particularly for the speed of boiling which helps both the environment and the budget. It is neat and compact, though it's capacity is as great as the much larger kettle it replaced, and it looks smart. I began to think that I would need to send it back however as, even after following the instructions to fill the kettle to capacity, boil the water and throw it away a few times, the water smelled and tasted "funny". It was a disinfectant/bleach kind of smell and the tea/coffee tasted odd. However, I persisted and after a week or maybe even a little more it had gone.Living in the area of Lancashire affected by the recent "boil water" notice,

I've been using a Breville kettle for years and find it brilliant unfortunately it started leaking a few weeks ago so I had to replace it. At first all I could find was black or metal kettles' which were not what I wanted because the limescale marks them but I managed to find my white Breville kettle and although it is a newer version I am very pleased with it as it is more efficient than the previous one.

Our old Breville kettle was so quiet that we had to touch the outside wall to Hi see if it had boiled.This new kettle does what it says and works fine. Except it’s like Concorde taking off when boiling.Another piece of Technology taking a step backwards.

Scored 85% by Which but some reliability issues by some users . So,far can’t fault it , easy to fill , lightweight , visible water guides on both sides . Good base location . No drips . Not noisy . So ticks all boxes for functionality.

It replaces my other Breville Kettle,the switch went, which was about 5-6 years old. I got the same one again as we liked it. The only thing against it is that it is bit noisy, but i still brought the same model again.

Very happy with this kettle. I would have liked it to have a "1 cup" measurement line on the side, but it's easy enough to estimate. It boils very quickly and the cable storage under the base is useful.

Best Kettle we have ever purchased. Boils quickly. Pouring has no issues with spillage. Light could be dimmer although you certainly won't miss that it's on! Good price.

Had this product before, very pleased with it so when the old one died I replaced with exactly the same model. Pours nicely, boils quickly would buy again.

Purchased Factory re-conditioned - Light worked Twice, then packed up.Had this model before - same issue. Dissapointed, will not by this Brand again!

It sings a bit but boils water quickly and can be used to boil small amount for a mug of tea.
