Bought this on a whim for £30. Arrived in a couple of days on standard delivery so the seller is good! A stylish kettle. A bit more barrel shaped than a standard £10 burner kettle. 3 minutes and 55 seconds to boil 1.7 litres (max capacity). Pouring is restricted so you can't fill things too quickly and burn your hand off (hot water bottles etc).The lid is particular about which way round it goes rather than just land it and send it. It is shaped so it can only goes on 2 ways, handle pointing north or south. The switch has a nice white light strip across it and also has a soft click feel to it.

Purchased this Breville kettle for my daughter to match the toaster I had got her.Think you can also get a matching microwave for this.It’s in an lovely slate-grey shade and visually looks lovely.It’s your standard plug in electric kettle with the heating plate.The lead for this can be moved around underneath the base depending on where your plug is situated just to make it look tidier on display on your kitchen worktop.Purchased during Black Friday week so this was also a real bargain.I would buy this kettle again and would definitely recommend.

I like it, the way the light illuminates the level gauge is very nice and the fact that the light is on the spine makes it visible from the right and left so it doesn't matter if you kitchen is handed one way or the other you can see the kettle is on and working, it is 3 KWs so boils fast, the plastic body seems sturdy and to keep heat in better than S Steel so doesn't burn you if you accidently touch it. One and only complaint, as an older person and glasses wearer the fill level marks could/should be printed larger and so clearer to see.

Had this new kettle for a couple of weeks now and it is a dream to use. Love the light that comes on inside the kettle when you switch it on - I usually switch it on before topping up, as it enables me to clearly see if I’m nearly at the max level. The lid comes off easily (but not too easily) and has a good sized opening - which isn’t the case in many kettles. The colour is mushroom like, but it has blended into our kitchen very well. it boils quickly and without too much noise. Recommended!

This kettle has great features: it holds a lot but isn't too heavy, it's easy to see how much is in it, it pours beautifully, is lit on the inside, it has a sturdy handle and the base is firmly non-slip. It boils quickly and quietly and is easy to fill. The grey colour is unusual and fashionable. I'm not taken with high gloss, plasticky finishes and I find the body gets very hot, but it'll suit a lot of modern kitchens. It's many excellent features far outweigh my small gripes about styling.

The kettle is really stylish and modern, the grey colour is really nice and the chrome effects just add to the finish. It has two LEDs inside which illuminate when boiling and the switch also has a light across it which again is a nice touch. The capacity is fabulous and it boils fast and it doesn’t seem very loud at all. Overall I think this is a really good kettle and can not fault its operation, design or any other part of the product; and I definitely would recommend it!

I have been using this Very stylish Kettle from Breville with having the Rapid boiling it makes from 6 to 8 cups of hot water in no time at all ,as well as being so quiet you really would not know the Kettle is on.Its also is very easy to keep clean having a washable limescale remover filter keeps the standard of the water so much better.Nice cord storage to keep it looking fantastic in ones kitchen as well as at how simple its to keep the outside of the Kettle clean .

I had a Breville kettle for a number of years, but had to replace it as I think the element went. I checked out various ones that were recommended and decided to go for this one. I liked the look of it but more importantly it is a fast boil. It has a good pour and is easy to fill. The lid is easy to lift off and, once you are used to it, replace as well. My one negative is that it seems to take a long time to turn off, but it does eventually, if I leave it that long!

Great kettle, very stylish and pleasing to the eye. I normally wouldn't go for a grey colour but this looks very cool in our kitchen. Lid comes off completely for easy filling and it has a nice feature of built in led lights in the base which light when boiling, gives a nice effect through the water level window. Very easy to handle even when full and boils quickly and not too noisy either. All in All a very nice kettle, would recommend highly for style alone.

I am so impressed with this kettle, I didn't realise it was plastic when I ordered it but I am actually pleased it is, it doesn't show the water marks and isn't too hot to touch. It looks so stylish and pours like a dream, no sloshing everywhere. It has a nice illuminated water display when it's boiling and the lid is easy to remove for refilling.Very quiet on the boil and doesn't take long at all. I definitely need the matching toaster now!

Great new design from Breville for what is essentially their classic kettle.Famous for quality, durability, low noise and great design, this model is probably the best-selling kettle in the UK.We have used it for a week, at least ten times a day and it works a dream.If it’s gets noisy, it needs rescaling. Once descaled, it’s like brand new. The colour, while not everyone's idea of 'cream' matches our kitchen perfectly.

The kettle looks very nice and has surprisingly out-performed my current kettle in terms of boil speed capacity and ease of use. Apart from this one niggle, this kettle is brilliant and I would recommend it.

This Breville toaster is great.It’s a four slice and we had it in a lovely shade of all most slate-grey.Visually it looks lovely especially with the matching kettle which we also indulged in.I also think there’s a microwave to match this as well.It has a dial to adjust according to how you like your toast and seems to consistently work well.Very happy with its performance so far and would defiantly recommend.

A great looking kettle, almost a retro kind of style. Quiet when boiling and a nice pour to it! The only thing that slightly lets it down is the lead is quite short. Ours is under our kitchen units but you can rotate the kettle which is very handy (so the smoke doesn't steam directly under our units!)EDIT: Ignore that about the short lead, it was wrapped round inside the base ?A great buy and looks lovely.

A nice, stylish kettle from Breville in a dark, gloss grey colour. Features a removable lid (some may not like) and 3kw heating element which means the water boils faster.1.7l which approximates to 8 cups. Low noise and looks the part in most kitchens.It's a well built, solid kettle. I would take care cleaning the outside though, seeing as it's gloss plastic, it may scratch easily with too much pressure.
