I have given this item 5 stars and that is based upon the item's versatility and its priceFirst off let's look at how versatile it is . There is one main cutting blade, with numerous attachments for the various functions as well as the nasal trimmer and detail trimmer.There are a number of functions including:+ . Controlled grooming to give that neat stubble look - not just a couple pf days beard growth, but a beard with controlled and tailored stubble.+ . Trimming for long and short beards: there are 13 options available.+ . Precision and contoured trimmers to give that groomed look and to ensure that lines are straight. Good for providing a straight line for areas such as sideburns and neck,or for those who wish to "sculpt" their beard.+ . A combined nasal and ear hair trimmer - invaluable for men getting older - nothing worse than a well presented middle aged man with tufts of nasal and aural hair.+ . A hair clipper - which for me with dense hair it copes with very well. For the past few months I have requested that my hairdresser cut my hair much shorter and whilst I still use her services to neaten my hair, particularly at the hairline, I have found that I can utilise this item to reduce the number of times I visit. The motor in the main unit if infinitely more powerful than the cheaper models in the range and can even cope with thick hair like mine. I cut my hair wet and provided that I haven't let it grow too long, "combing" through my hair with the 21mm option is great for in between visits to the hairdresser.+ . A body groomer, which I am unlikely to use as I quite like being hairy - albeit mainly grey! I have tried a body groomer before and to be honest,, I didn't like the feeling afterwards. I think that if you are a man with sparse body hair then this product would be fine, however, men with denser hair with more body coverage might just find that it is better to leave the hair alone.+ . Finally a wet razor for shaving - a Gilette fusion "pro-glide" provides a smooth shave. A single 5 blade cartridge is providedThis is quite a lot more expensive at £50.39 than one that I gave to my son from the same manufacturer (MGK3085) but with a very much less powerful and inferior motor. The MGK5080 is a more robust product and whilst the items look very similar, this model is far superior in terms of performance.So is it as good as I say it is? Well it charges sufficiently in 5 minutes for 1 "treatment", less than an hour sees it fully charged and whilst I haven't checked it to determine whether it does provide an hours' trimming, I believe it will. For me, it does provide sufficient power to provide a full hair cut, with power to spare including trimming nasal hair and eyebrows.Additional things that I like about this product is that you can purchase replacements for all of the components, but being Braun, they should last a fair while before I have to visit their website.The whole thing comes with comprehensive instructions and a drawstring carrying bag, although I keep the bits that I use in a plastic box for safekeeping.Recommended

There are several alternatives to "Braun 9-in-1 All-in-One Trimmer MGK5080 Beard Trimmer and Hair Clipper, Body Groomer, Ear and Nose Hair Trimmer, Detail Trimmer Attachment, Black/Blue" from several brands plus Braun themselves but most are capable of a more limited range of tasks; a few offer one or two more. This one is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery which is claimed to provide a 50% longer usage time per charge; typical usage time for most groomers is 40-50 minutes on a full charge. In addition to the groomer and its accessories, also included is a Gillette Fusion5 razor plus a couple of blades; a shave foam or gel will be needed.Included with the groomer are several accessories,

It says a lot for Braun's confidence about their razor that they included a Gillette traditional razor in the pack of the MGK5080 Beard Trimmer and Hair Clipper as a little extra.This set gives you pretty much everything you need for beard, nose, ear and body trimming. It's quite comprehensive. The razor itself is lightweight and rechargable, via a Braun specific lead and razor wall socket plug, so you'll need to use the bathroom wall socket to charge it or buy one of the adaptors for the mains.Beard lengths from 0.5 - 21 mm are catered for from the 4 beard trim attachments and 2 metal razors. This covers most bases and I tend to use the longer one for my beard and shorter one for sides.

Like many men I like things that can do a lot in one. I like a shower gel that can wash my hair, face, body and also be used as a drain unblocker. The more things the better. Braun must know their target audience as they have a series of new trimmers out that cover a variety of jobs. The '9-in-1 All-in-One Trimmer' must be one of the most prolific as you can use it to trim your hair, beard and even nose hair. Bear in mind, this is not one head that does all that (try putting a beard trimmer up your nose), but a piece of kit that comes with various extensions.The pack that the '9-1' comes in is simple and I like that. You get the main trimmer unit which is the basic, buy usual very high quality Braun unit.

The Braun design always seems to be quite basic when it comes to this type of item but the best bit is they do the job quite nicely plus seem to quietly ooze that thing called style. However this MGk5080 nine-in-one model is quite amazing as it has nine interchangeable heads to suit most purposes but its these attachments that set it aside from the usual or conventional trimmer as it’s a real ‘Nine in One’ item in real terms, although you may not use all of them the option is there as its better than buying individual devices with just one purpose. In use it’s very good - it’s a Braun brand after all - and with these attachments the word versatile takes on a whole new meaning plus a full charge with its in-built Li-ion battery lasts just under a hundred minutes supposedly (it's quoted)

In the set you get - 2 stubble trimmers, 2 short and long-haired beard trimmers, a precision trimmer, a contour edger, 2 hair clippers, an ear/nose trimmer and body groomer plus a Gillette Contour Razor. The overall impression is of a well-made product and I like the touch of the handy soft storage bag which is included.The unit is easy to use and the attachments are easy to change - there's also an LED charge/low battery indicator. I found the hair trimmers and ear and nose trimmer particularly useful although the others work well too.

I'm not quite ready to host Queer Eye, but I am coming to the realisation that grooming is worth doing, especially now that I'm getting a little older and my body hair is becoming more and more unruly with every year.I'm also not ready to get specialised grooming products for all facets of body maintenance, so the idea of a 9 in 1 grooming solution definitely appealed to me.So far I've used the nostril hair trimmer and the precision trimmer to tidy up my sideburns. Handling the Braun is easy and the motor drives the attachments effectively. It also felt safe to use - pretty important if you're jamming a motorised blade up your nose. Both processes only took a few minutes and the attachments were easy to clean.

The Braun MGK5080 9in1 is a very neat little grooming kit. It is light, compact, sturdy and rechargeable so is convenient to use and ideal to pack and take with you on your travels. A good selection of different length trimming combs and heads provide everything necessary to keep beards, moustaches and hair trim and tidy. There is even a Gillette Fusion five blade razor if you have a tough beard like me and like a close shave. Charging is quick and easy with up to 100 minutes of use and even a quick charge for a single trim. At first I found the small heads tricky to remove but it gets easier once you have learned the knack. The changeable trimming heads provide for all your grooming needs and will even stretch to a haircut and spruce up.

Braun produce a variety of All in One trimmers. This is a 9 in 1 styling kit. Since ordering this, I notice the price has been reduced by over £12, so it comes out at a tad over £50 from Amazon (but the same version can be obtained elsewhere at a better price).It has a quick picture guide on the back of the packaging to highlight the right accessory for different uses - which I was told was very helpful by the tester. 5 of the accessories are for beards, 1 for hair clipping, 1 for ear and nose trimming and 1 for body grooming. This trimmer really does come with just about everything necessary for personal grooming and, having tested it for a while now, my adult son is very impressed. It comes with a travel bag and nine different attachments. The only, minor issue, is that it has a two pin plug; meaning you have to use it in the bathroom, or get an adapter. However, it has a 5 min quick charge option as well as having 100 minutes, once fully charged.I don’t think you need to give the instructions too much scrutiny, as it is fairly easy to use. I want to give this trimmer 5 stars because it is all singing and dancing but it fails on desirability. You should want to own an electronic razor not just because it does the job but because it's nice to ogle. This is a cardinal rule of consumerism that hasn't escaped the notice of Philips and Wahl but Braun have come up with something which is cheap and plasticky looking here that I don't look forward to holding in my hand. That said, I can't fault it on versatility. You have everything you need here to keep your facial thatch neatly trimmed. In fact, it will make something of an amateur barber out of you given time. Do make sure you keep all the bits in one bag.

A handy kit for everyday grooming. It includes everything you need from a clean shave to haircut. It is various combs to adjust the length of your hair cut and to tidy up around the edges. I found when cutting hubby`s hair with it that it gave a good cut but it did miss the odd straggler so I had to go over it a few times. It gave a nice even stubble cut which can be defined around the edges by changing the cutting comb as can the edges of your hair cut such as sideburns and neck. The set even comes with a Gillette razor for a smooth shave . If changing your look is your thing this set is ideal and it can save loads of money by not having to go to a barbers so often so very good value to.

Having used a variety of shavers in the past, I opted for this one based on the reviews. I'm a hairy bloke, with a beard, and I like to keep on top of my body hair. Using the various tools on my face was efficient and effortless; a comfortable shave and a good finish. Body shaving was also easy with the various tools. It's quite a bulky unit but easy to use and very light. Battery life seems good so far but I can't comment in too much detail as I've only charged it once. It easily lasted 25 mins though and was still cutting as efficiently as it was at the beginning. Would happily recommend this product :-)
