I recently bought some Kyoceira ceramic knives and wanted a neat and safe way to store them. The Bodum universal knife block would have been my choice if I had a larger workspace but this Wall Knife Holder is perfect. It was easy to fit and it's very secure, and the brush grips the knives VERY firmly, though I don't know if that may lessen over time but if it does you can simply remove the brush and turn it over for a better grip. I notice the knives are so sharp they pare off minute fragments of brush which stick to the blade each time you insert them, but it's not a problem just rinse the knife under the tap before using it.

This was purchased to help free some valuable worktop space in my smallish kitchen. The rack can be attached either by means of two plastic brackets mounted on the wall with the included template or, assuming you have a smooth grease free surface, via double sided tape (all fixings are included). The rack has space for 6-8 knives, dependant on size, and the knives are held in place by a hidden brush strip concealed in the slot, this holds them surprisingly firmly and ensures they point straight down without risk of them scraping the wall/cabinet they are attached to.All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to a counter top block
