I ordered 2 carrier bag holders that I have attached on the inside of a cupboard door.Other reviewers said that they had used the sticky adhesive at the top and bottom of the carrier bag holder to attach this to their wall or cupboard door and after a short period of time the holder then fell off so I decided to put the 2 screws provided into the cupboard door and then slot the holder into place. It was really easy to drill the screws in and the hook the carrier bag holder on, taking only a couple of minutes.I have rated the product a 4 star as the description says that it can hold 30 carrier bags however I can fit 20 comfortably in mine.I wouldn’t recommend this to store the new style of carrier bag that is thicker that you pay for at the supermarket, only the older thinner style. As you can see by the photo I have taken I had put a thicker 5p carrier bag in the bottom carrier bag holder and they are hard to push into the holder and pull out and take up a lot of space, so if wanting to use for thicker bags you would fit less than 20 thick carrier bags in.I decided to purchase a material drawstring carrier bag holder for the thick carrier bags that I have. The carrier bag holder looks stylish and is easy to clean. I like the fact that you do not have to open it up as with some material carrier bag holders you have to undo the drawstring, you can just open the cupboard door and pull a carrier bag straight out so it is quick and easy to use.

So easy to hang on the wall, not sure how long the stick will last as I've got "mad grip" hands and tend to rip things off walls with a little tickle. Product looks superb, shiny enough that if I left a window open there would be all manner of magpies wanting it to jazz up their nest (or someone else's nest from what I've heard of cheeky magpies). Anyway, enough about that. Bags are easily shoved in the hole at the top and dispensed via the front. It couldn't get any easier than that. All in all, it's going to get you away from the huge bag of bags that every woman in the land sees fit to store under the sink or hanging from a hook and low and behold, you try and remove a bag and get attacked by a swarm of plastic bags hellbent on covering your kitchen floor. Also note, if like me you have a man drawer in your kitchen (for a screwdriver, hammer, boat level and such) this will resume to normal service once you satisfy your lady friends obsession with saving carrier bags. At 5p a bag nowadays, I reckon you could store around £2.50's worth of bags in this holder without harm done.It also comes with a couple of screws should you be completely heavy handed like myself or if you have a dainty touch about you then the sticker things will suit you just fine.I feel like I can sleep soundly now that I have overcome my fear of flying, snarling plastic bags flying at me from all angles as this little beauty keeps them tamed and under control.

Paper grocery bags only seem to work in the movies. You know, with the baguette and some carrots sticking on top, nothing ever tearing or spilling out all over the place? In real life, whenever you come back from the grocery store you are stuck with a bunch of plastic bags that it does not feel good to stick in your trash bin. And it is not just the environmentalism-guilt-trip, it is also practical to have some plastic bags handy when you need them.I used to have a similar wall-mounted holder from IKEA. It worked fine but it was bulky and ugly. This holder, in contrast, is practical yet slick and discreet. Its brushed steel surface matches my other brushed-steel kitchen appliances and objects. It will hold more bags than advertised with no problem (around 50)when they are of the soft (usually biodegradable) plastic. Trying to stuff larger bags of harder (department store) plastic will fill it up faster though.I have had no problems with attacking this onto my wall (I did not even need the screws). Just make sure to first decide exactly where you want it (preferably away from excessive heat or steam) and that the surfaces are dust and moisture free.RECOMMENDED.

Fed up with loose carrier bags laying around I checked and this seemed to be the best though not the cheapest option, its probably the best looker mind. The listed dimensions are in error, they're 166x395x92 mm (w x h x d), another detail is box states 10 year warranty.Mounting: At 92mm deep its too big to mount to a door, so I mounted to a wall, the sticky tape supplied is clearly inadequate for the job so I used the screws, though even they were smaller than I would have liked (and small compared to fixing holes) but they seem to do the job, I had to supply my own raw plugs though. If your wishing to screw to your doors or shelves note the supplied screws are too long for that.In Use: I only keep the 'lifetime'bags and this holds about 15 of those, pushing them into or pulling out seems problem free so far. The video is just to give you an impression of its operation.A much neater solution for storing your shopping bags.

For years, I've been haunted by the ugly large shopping bag overflowing with smaller, equally ugly shopping bags hanging from a door hook in my laundry room, frustrating me every time I went in the room. I was concerned about only having room for +/- 30 bags in this holder, but with my overly organized, methodical folding of each bag, I managed to fit them all! I might have to develop a shopping bag folding master class for my boyfriend to understand my very precise folding and inserting process, but it's worth it to have the crinkly mess neatly tucked away under the sink. I did struggle with trying to get the included screws into the cupboard door to secure the dispenser,so I threw them in my junk basket and relied solely on the attached adhesive strips. So far, the dispenser is still mounted and seemingly secure after approx. 6 weeks. Amazing!

I bought this last year when I had a new kitchen installed as I was fed up opening the cupboard only to be caught under an avalanche of plastic bags. That was before the supermarkets started charging for them. Since then, I've gone green and now have one of those big canvas trolley bags but my local market still uses the flimsy plastic ones and I also have a load of those thicker 'bag for life' kind. This dispenser has a very large capacity - there's always room for one more if you scrunch it up really small! The dispenser part is also really good in that when you go to pull one out it only feeds one at a time.I debated whether to place it out of sight inside a cupboard door but decided the brushed steel effect went well with my other fixtures so opted to stick it on the wall where it looks extremely smart even though I do say so myself.

Does everything it promises, so no problems there. I was expecting the adhesive mount to fall off after a week, but it is VERY sticky - bonds in seconds, as they used to say - so no chance of repositioning it if you get it wrong first time!Which explains why it's slightly too low down on the door I mounted it onto. ; - )At least it's level/vertical, though, or I'd have to rip the door off to satisfy my OCD about right-angles and right angles. An even bigger capacity would have been good for me, but it's not a deal-breaker. How many empty carrier bags does a bloke need? (It fits 30.)UPDATE - a month or so later, probably due to the fact that you are constantly pushing bags into the slot,it fell off the door a few times, so you probably need to use the mounting screws supplied and not the adhesive strips mentioned above.

Excellent product, previously I was using a larger bag to store my other Plastic bags out of the way. Now I have this attached in my kitchen, it's neat, tidy & within easy access. The device itself is pretty sturdy, the only issue I had was that I didn't have a long enough screwdriver to get in the slit part to drive the attaching screw into the wood it was attached to, but that was my problem and not a fault in the design. Once it's attached it's secure. Bare in mind the size of this item (40cm tall, 17cm wide), in case you're not sure if it'll fit where you plan on having it. I've estimated it's storing about 20+ carrier bags atm (various sizes).Other than that, I'm well happy with this product, and even my one of my friends has already said he'd get one as well.

I purchased this to hide away the carrier bags in my kitchen cupboard. It is very easy on the eye and I manage to fit 15-20 carrier bags in it. I find it handy as it was the right size to hang stick on the inside of my kitchen unit door, I used the sticky pads that is has already stuck to it as they seemed strong enough to hold it, unfotunstely after 2 weeks it fell off the inside of the door but this could have been due to the fact that my one year old grandson was banging the door. It does also come with screws but I don't want to risk putting screws into my kitchen unit doors as they may protrude on the outside.I have now moved it to a hallway cupboard and screwed it on the inside of the door where it is secure.

Keeps carrier bags all in one place - even more important now the carrier bag tax has started. One point, the hole in the top and sides are a bit small for the newer 'thicker' bags that the supermarkets give out but it is still possible to store them. Mine is attached to the back of a kitchen cupboard door with the double sided tape (supplied) and it is holding up well. You can also screw it to a door if you want a more solid fit (don't think the screws were supplied with mine). Simplehuman do seem to make good quality items and this is no exception. It's easy to wipe down and looks smart enough to have fixed somewhere where you can see it if you needed.

If you have cupboards like mine using screws wasn't an option as the door panel is too thin. I ended up returning the first one as the bag holder kept falling off the door. The adhesive tape wasn't strong enough. Returned and ordered a second one thinking the tape was defective but same results. The door was cleaned to ensure adhesion. I ended up gluing a half inch strip of wood to the inside of the door then screwed the bag holder to that. Nice product but the adhesive tape option isn't practical considering you are pushing down on the bag holder every time you place a plastic bag in it.

you'll read that the sticky pads aren't strong enough and on their own they aren't, but before you install, if you push a bag in and pull it out it will be quite reasonable to establish that anything other than screws or an epoxy type pad wont keep this thing on the cupboard door, so use both and then one supports the other and i'm sure it will last a very long time. Good value for money at the moment for 9.99. I find simple human designing things along a similar idea to Joseph Joseph and both are great brands. Works just fine with bags for life too as thats all i have inside it,

After spending a bunch of cash on a Simple Human bin and official Simple Human bin bags, I realised that I had nowhere to actually store the bags and they were just hanging around the place looking untidy.I bought this as an easy remedy to that. You fit it to the wall, add bags and then they easily pull out. It looks good on the wall and when people comment on what it is and I show them by pulling a bag out, they all say the same thing which is “Oooh, that’s a good idea!”In Summary: A great bin bag holder that tidies the place up and looks cool on the wall.

10.8.2014

Used carrier bags always used to clutter my kitchen cupboards and drawers, however within this holder I can compact them all together easily and in one place. Unlike other reviewers, I used the supplied adhesive to attach to the inside of my kitchen cupboard and it has stayed up for the past six months - and I do squish the bags in hard. It is just as easy to remove a bag when you want one - unlike other holders you can pick from nearly all the bags when you want one. I haven't seen any alternative that comes close for the price.

Have marked down 'adhesion' only because of the surface I mounted upon. The back of an old internal cupboard door. I had to screw through the plastic, as I recall there are no screws provided, understandably. The product works well as intended. I fold up my bags with and insert them flat into the holder. I have at least 20 of the thicker loop handle type bags in there with room for at least 10 more.It is solid of construction and is a useful item to clean up the clutter.
