For a few years now we’ve been using a very similar product, Command hooks from 3M, and we’ve recommended them to quite a few people for their great strength and the way they can be removed so that it looks like they were never there- ideal for rented houses, or for seasonal short-term decorations. These Powerstrips from Tesa are, in effect, much the same.stuff from a different brand, but they are just marginally not quite as good. The strength and their ability to hold weight falls somewhat short of the 3M brand. The advertised capability of 200g from Tesa may sound impressive, but similar (albeit slightly bigger) Command hooks we bought recently have an advertised 900g carrying ability. When you put them side-by-side in a deliberate pull test and see how much effort it takes to yank them off the wall, it’s clear that the 3M variant are stronger.Beside that, there’s nothing wrong with them though. The clear plastic is a little bit cheap-looking but the swan’s-neck-curved shape gives you a choice of hanging direction, which is a plus. As expected, removing them from a tiled surface does indeed leave no marks whatsoever, so they do perform as advertised. So if you’re sure that you’re only going to use these for lightweight or very temporary items, then there’s nothing wrong with them. If however you’re interested in long-term or versatile use, equivalent to the kind of picture hooks or decorative hooks you might permanently attach to your wall, then Command definitely still have the edge for strength, despite being broadly the same kind of price at time of writing.

These strips do work. You have to follow instructions which so many people decide not to do (sometimes not even read them) and they will hold.I recommend to clean the surface 1st with something that contains alcohol, then attach the strip (press it against the surface for around 1min) and then attach the hook pressing it against the strip again for around 1 min. Don't hang anything possibly for 24hs. The next day press it again against the wall for a bit and try hanging something.Even if it falls off after a few mins, it will be the hook, not the strip. You can try and press it against the strip one more time and see if it gives any effect after another 24hs.I did that with a light metal shelf in the bathroom - one of the hooks fell off initially. Pressed again and it's fine, almost been a month now. It's the hook that I have a slight issue with, more precisely it's shape. It looks nice but is rather impractical. The distance between end of the hook and it's base is very small so you can't really hang anything thicker. Also the way it's designed (unnecessarily in my opinion) could make the plastic itself break after a while.Apart from that it seems to do the job and for now I'm happy with it. And remember - these are no waterproof strips but they hold my metal shelf under the shower (away from direct splash but still).

I have used these little clips this evening to hand some fairy lights in my daughters bedroom and I am very pleased with the result. I attached them to an existing white painted wooden shelf and they were easy to attach and appeared strong when I gave them a tug. I had previously used a similar product by 3M and from what I have seen these are just as good. What I really liked about this 'tesa' version of the product is that the sticker is attached before the hook (other products work the other way around) , I found this really helped with accurately siting the hooks.I was impressed by how they blended into the background and can not be seen unless close to the hooks. As I was testing them Idid remove one of them as a test of how easy to remove they are - I left the product attached for a couple of hours (so I can not comment on how easy they would be to remove after a longer period of time) and they came off without making the painted wood surface and there was no residue left on the paint. As a word of warning they are not suitable for embossed wallpaper, I tested one in a discrete area on a wallpapered surface and they did not remove very easily and pulled at the wallpaper - the product does state that they should not be used for vinyl wallpapers and therefore I have not deducted any stars for this.

These hooks are simple to set up and remove, are very versatile and also reusable. They will only hold weights up to 200g but they are small and inexpensive so that is not unreasonable. Remember to not skip the step of wiping your wall with detergent and then using one of the enclosed Powerstrips before applying the hook onto the strip. Not doing this could obviously mean the hooks or anything you put on them would just drop off.I have used them to hang decorations and they have held well, no slippage or falling off. When you take them down, follow the instructions and there is no reason why they will leave a residue or tear wallpaper. Of course as well as for Christmas, they would be great for Birthdays,Weddings or any other celebratory events so they would get used quite often.

Having used Command hooks of various sizes and always been impressed, I was actually quite surprised at how good these ones are. They're dead easy to fix in place: take a sticky pad and apply to chosen surface, peel off the protective layer and place hook – make sure it's the right way up! - with pointy end matching the point end of the sticky patch, and press lightly for a few seconds. I waited about 10 minutes before I hung my bee on it. The bee is very light and has been looking for a home for some time. Now he's on my window frame and seems really happy there. You get five hooks and eight stickies, so a few spare if you make a hash of things. I haven't tried removing one of these hooks yet,but if they're anything like the Command, that procedure will also be easy.

I’ve had a few Tesa products for hanging things (and lots of other variants by other brands). I’ve found them all to be excellent and fit for the job. This set has been no exception and I have items that are still hanging a year after I attached these hooks to the wall.(I will confess that they did not stick well to my wooden mantelpiece - not what they were designed for but I hoped they might hold a Christmas stocking. Sadly not, not even an empty one.)Overall, if you want to hang some fairy lights around a room, or cable, or hang something light, these are a great product. For anything heavier, there are other items in the Tesa range better suited for that.

They do a job, enough for temporary use as stated. They will fix to painted walls, but any weight and they come off complete with a paint patch. Beware. Will stick to wood, glass and UPVC, so great for hanging up temporary party decorations etc.Note they go stiff and brittle in sunshine, not UV proof, so no good in a car etc other than a temporary job, 2 weeks worked just fine and came off the glass easily.TIP: Place these and LEAVE for 12 hours, 24 is better and they work so much better, a warm room also helps them bed-in.These are the same as 3M strips, but from Europe.

Less than five stars all the way for this because the pictograms they use are not complemented with decent text descriptions as well. The first hook I put inside a cupboard fell off soon after. When I re-visited the cartoons, I realised they meant to put the sticky pad on the door, not the hook, and then to fix the hook to the sticky pad when that was in place. It is simply a slightly counter-intuitive process for me.Once the instructions are followed the hook stays up and is good for light loads.Recommended - just make sure you follow the cartoons better than I did!

As I have just cleaned my windows so the surface is really clean I thought I may as well put these up ready for my xmas lights. Because they are clear you cannot really see them and they seem to have stuck really well. I have tried to gently pull them off to test their strength and they are pretty well stuck so I have every confidence that my lights will not be falling down. Between now and xmas I have hung my crystals on them as I like they way they reflect the light and they are still in place,so I think the secret is a clean surface and they will be fine.

These hooks are easy to use. You get 8 sticking strips and 5 hard hooks. The strips are like a sticky rubber and double sided. Peel off and stick where you want it. Press for about 5 seconds. Remove the other strip and hold the plastic hook in place for a few seconds. I tested this with a small wreath that I like to hang on a door in my porch. It works brilliantly because o don’t need to hammer on a hook that would ruin the door! They are also easy to remove and don’t take your paint work or wallpaper with it!

I'd not heard of this brand prior to trying out these and another one of their products. I've normally used the Command brand for yhongs like this. I'm really impressed. Great instructions, simple to use. Highly adhesive. It does as it states. Sticks to the wall well. The plastic seems strong. It notes on the instructions that it has limited UV capabilities and should not be used in vehicles.I found these suitable for hanging single tools from. I'd say perfectly suitable for keys too.

It really is a good picture, The hooks are really hard to spot, Have a Pack & all used now, I am going to be hard-pressed to see any of them, Haven't removed one yet but as all my walls are painted it won't harm the wall. I use them to Hold up my 3D models, & also The lights around the House, Because they are near invisible I won't have to take down I know lazy Highly recommended & a solution for your Hanging issues.on walls, Furniture, Windows.

So far, these seem really good. I've stuck them to UVPC window frames and gave ornaments on them. They seem well stuck to the plastic and even with giving them a bit of a tug they don't come loose or free. The ones I have hold 200g and I'm confident they are capable of holding that. They are easy to use, easy to remove and so far have performed well... but I have only used them on plastic window frames.
