Just turned 30, and recently bought a new build apartment. With London property being ridiculous as it is, furnishing ones dwelling with quality equipment just made sense to me after such a large investment. Plan is to buy things for the place that are transferable to any other property I decide to later move/upgrade into. So I am looking for quality and functional items that will last well into the future...I have purchased 4 other different brands & types of door stoppers before finally settling for the Blomus.They have a 1Kg and a 2Kg version I have both. Nice chunk of engineered metal. I was undecided on whether to get this or the 2 kg version but find this is find for holding a standard interior household door open.Pluses:+ Soft felt on bottom to prevent scratches and aid gripping+ Soft foam surround to protect doors+ Designer looks

They look very stylish, they also have rubbish bottom to protect floor it is easy to slide with your foot on wood floor but on carpet you need to pick it up to move it.They are nice but do look ugly upside down which only happens it your to lazy to put it up right lol.

I was so pleased with the item that I bought another one. If you are looking for a door stopper that does not need permanent fixing to the floor this is one I would recommend. It does the job and it looks good too.

I ordered 3 after I saw them at a friend's place. I really love them, very elegant and practical. I do not have to fight anymore with the small wooden ones which didn't stop any doors. I would recommend them!

Beautifully designed (you won't often hear that re door stops!), solidly constructed, bought three based on a previous purchase of a 2kg version which was really just too heavy to be practical.

The smaller version of the Blomus door stop is great for lighter interior doors. Its' contemporary, stylish design compliments any home no matter what design style, modern or traditional.

It's heavy and stops doors. Job done then.Looks good in my view too and the rubber circumference stops marks. We have 3 now so must be pretty happy with them

does the job perfectly, although I found cheaper versions of the same thing and now have a few around the house.
