Tesa sell a variety of adhesive products, including packs of powerstrips bundled with different types of hooks and retainers. Tesa powerstrips are essentially small plastic double-sided adhesive strips that have the benefits of being removable, and which come in a variety of sizes - these being the small ones. This powerstrip kit comes with three plastic hooks which have an oval base and a silver-grey finish, and four small powerstrips - so there's one extra just in case you mess one up. In appearance the hooks may not the ultimate in style but perfectly acceptable.Affixing them to a suitable surface is fast and easy, and requires no tools. The back protective strip is removed and the tab pressed onto the surface for five seconds, then the protective strip can be removed from the front and the small clear tab from behind the hook base can be carefully placed in position on to the adhesive tab. Once that is done, you merely have to slide the hook into place onto the clear base. When or if you want to remove it, reverse the procedure to remove the hook and then pull down on the tab at the bottom of the adhesive strip to remove it. It is stated that they can be removed, and that is true so far as it goes... but I found they get a little out of shape and one has to be careful not to handle the sticky parts. However, being small, the tabs are covered in use so it's of no great consequence. It is claimed they can take a load of up to 1kg; I have not stress-tested with such a load, but they are certainly sufficient to hold a large heavy-duty bath-towel, and that satisfies my requirements.I think they represent a great solution for either temporary hooks, or for caravans, sheds etc where making holes or permanent mark, using powertools etc is either not possible or not desirable. And for under a fiver I would suggest they are very good value.

These no-nail classic oval hooks are a great idea and ideal for hanging things up on a variety of surfaces. This is the 2nd of these types of tesa hooks I had the opportunity the review, the previous being picture hanging ones, and my feedback is really the same for both.I got these ones to specifically hang up aprons and oven gloves on one of our kitchen walls.Putting them up is all remarkably simple:1. Fix the adhesive strip to the wall and leave for a few minutes.2. Fix the hook to the adhesive strip and wait a few minutes.3. Hang picture, ornament, or anything else to it.If done properly, these have a particularly good grip, but the level of grip is going to depend on the type of surface you are fixing it.Personally, I would want to hang anything heavy or expensive to them. Not necessarily because they will not hold it, but I’d prefer to use a more secure fixing method. For the purpose I’ve used them for, they work fine. The problem comes with trying to remove them from the wall. I have found that on walls with lining paper on or where the plaster is weak, it can pull it off. However, I have found this to be the case on similar types of fixings from other manufacturers. If you are going to leave it up for some time and/or are not overly bothered if it takes away some of the surface when you peel it off, then this works well.At £4.29 for three, they are not the cheapest solution around.I hope you found this review interesting, relevant, and beneficial. Sorry, but due to an issue on Amazons side, I’m unable to upload any photos to go with this review.

This review is for the tesa Powerstrips Hooks Small ROUND - Removable Self-Adhesive Wall Hook for Glass, Tiles, Wood, Plastic and Other Surfaces - Waterproof - White - Strong Hold up to 1 kg which I received free inorder to do a review.Like the other tesa fixes, the surface needs to be clean, then all you need to do is peel one of the backing papers from the strip, press revealed side for 5 seconds onto the surface where you want it to go, then remove the last backing paper and press the back of the hook onto the strip for 5 seconds. In this type of "hook", the hook is hinged and simply clips down into position. There is a gap underneath and behind the cup hook to allow the backing adhesive to be removed of needed.I found the hook stuck firmly and inside the timing suggested, and it held up the towel I wanted to hang. This was stuck to the back of a wooden door, and not to tiles or metal, and the towel weighs under the 1kg weight limit stated. I have not had any of the problems other reviewers have had with these products, so I would suggest that you make sure you use the product with the correct weight bearing load for the use you intend it. There is no point using this hook to hold up a heavy cotton dressing gown, for example. If you choose the right weight limit for what you want to hold and the correct surface type, then it will work as suggested.

tesa UK Powerstrips Small Hooks with Removable Adhesive StripsSupplied in a handy blister pack, there are 3 wall hooks provided in the package, each plastic hook measures 4 cm across. Also provided in the packet is an information sheet explaining how to attach these to your wall.Like all products that attach to the wall via suction or sticky pad, good preparation is the key to success. I decided to hang one of these in our kitchen as we needed a hook to hang our tea towel from. The ideal spot was to hang from one of our kitchen wall tiles. The tiles we have are smooth and shiny without any surface texture. First I washed the area with kitchen cleaner to remove any grease, once thoroughly dry I then wiped the area with a mild solvent. When I applied the hook I did push as hard as I could against the tile to ensure a tight grip. The hook has no problem taking the weight of the tea towel, it appears to be strong and permanent even when pulled. The manufacturer claims these hooks will take up to 1kg of weight, this I'm sure would only be under ideal conditions. To be honest, I would only use these for lightweight items. Works great with our tea towel, but that doesn't weigh much.If you have found my review at all helpful, I would very much appreciate if you could please click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

These hooks are great for generally anywhere you need a hook but dont want to damage your wall, or dont have a sturdy enough wall to support drilling in. My new build wall quality is dreadful, it can't even handle holding up a picture frame!!I used these in my cloakroom to hand my coats from, I was wary at first how strong the adhesion would be and debated just using them for tea towels in the kitchen. I was proved wrong - hanging my coats on these hooks has proved to be no problem at all, once youve stuck them in place they are pretty sturdy and so far haven't fallen off like cheap alternatives I've tried in the past. They stick to the wall very easily and seem to be able to handle a decent amount of weight - on the packet it says it can hold upto 1kg!What I also like about these is that if you need to relocate them, taking them off does no damage and all you need to do is buy a new pack of strips (which are reasonably priced) and re-attach the hook to it once youve got it in place! Very pleased with this item and its fantastic if you need hooks anywhere without causing damage to your walls!

Very natty! 3 plastic hooks that look quite ordinary but, unlike most that have just got a peel-off adhesive strip on the back that always gives out the minute you hang anything on them, these have a much cleverer system. Each one comes with a separate two-sided adhesive strip, contained in a paper wrapper looking a bit like a plaster. You peel off the protective paper on one side of the strip, stick it where you want it on the wall and then snap up the back of the hook, peel off the other side of the protective paper and stick the hook to the strip, snapping back the hook into place. It comes with an instruction sheet - and it's sensible to read this as it isn't immediately obvious how to fixthe hooks - which is perhaps why it comes with an extra adhesive strip. If you need to remove the hook for any reason this is easily done by pulling down at the base of the adhesive strip and the whole thing comes away. But the hooks will take up to 1 kg which is quite a lot for a little plastic hook and they do seem quite strong enough. Ingenious and good value.

It’s always handy to have a few adhesive hook in the kitchen drawer as I find that they don’t stay up for long and need to be replaced, either because I’ve snapped them or they just given up and fallen on the floor, complete with whatever’s on there. They are small so great for smaller, lighter items such as tea towels, shower scrunchies etc.The packaging states that they hold up to 1kg but I’m not sure I’d trust them to hold that much weight. The one I placed inside my cupboard to hold my oven gloves is still going strong, although it’s only been a few day but I find that if they are going to come unstuck they will fail in the first day or so.Personally, I wouldn’t use them on a painted surface, very few adhesive strips can be removed without causing damage and I would recommend trying somewhere inconspicuous first. There are lots of different sized hooks available from this company so you should find one that suits your needs but they are a tad pricey for what you get.Hope you found my review helpful

We like these. There are times and places where a stick-on hook makes sense, because we don't want to drill into and damage tiles, or the sides of bookcases, but we might not always want or need the hook there. The separate, double sided sticky pad with the sensible, built-in, pull-to-remove tab is much more practical than a foam blob already welded to the back of the hook and saturated with the stuff they use to keep spaceship heat shields in place. There's nothing worse than something sticky and theoretically temporary that can't be removed without a mess. Certain booksellers could take note about their price and offer stickers. There’s even extra sticky pad, so you can be confident at least one hook can be re-used.It’s a nice touch, since the hooks and blister pack are none more plastic, with all that implies for our impending eco-doom.The only quibble, presumably a slip up at the manufacturer, these were packaged as small, but were the advertised larger size, 3 cm across.

Small plastic chrome-effect hooks, that are attached to one's chosen surface by the supplied adhesive strips.I've had variants of these before; their effectiveness depends a good deal on what kind of surface they are attached to – an emulsion surface is likely to lift off with the adhesive (as has been my experience) and the weight-bearing claims on the packaging shouldn't be relied upon – always assume they will only take a light load.I have one hook in my studio that has worked as a general coat hanger for 3 years now, but in another workplace 3 out of 6 have pulled off the wall, so one takes one's chances with them. These 3 small hooks should be all right for light use and I have solid wooden surfaces I intend to use them on; they are generally okay, just don't expect them to take a lot of weight and you probably won't be disappointed. They are rather expensive, but if one has no alternative fixing method – given the above caveats – they are acceptable.

Ideal small hooks to hold something like a tea towel in the kitchen, or perhaps a shower puff near a shower.Fixing the hooks is quite straightforward, simply peeling off the backings, and pressing the hooks into place. I left mine for 24 hours before placing any weight on them.I’m not so sure that they would hold something weighing a kilo. One caution is that you do have to be quite careful to lift the item off the hook, and not tug it off.I wouldn’t use these for anything where this is likely to happen. In a house of heavy-handed people they are probably best used for items used occasionally, or even to suspend a decoration. The claim is that these can be removed without leaving a mark, making them suitable for rented properties. I haven’t been able to test this yet. Opinions vary on this point, in reviews. Keep the packaging, as clear instructions for removal are given

This is a pack of three small hooks and for me are ideal for hanging my scrunchy sponge on. The set comes with four sticky strips that are attached to a removable backplate. The sticky strips are attached to the backplate and held in place while the adhesive sticks, then the hook is attached.I made sure that the surface was completely clean before the hook was attached. These are handy small hooks and are ideal for the bathroom, bedroom for jewellery or kitchen for tea towels. They hold up to 1kg but I am not sure if this is true as the things I have hung on them are very light and do not weigh the maximum weight limit as advised.I am very happy with this set and they do what I require of them.Only time will tell on how long they remain in place, but so far so good. I also think they are good value for the price.

In the packet you get a pack of three hooks and four strips to hold them. That allows you one change of location so think carefully where you want them. Designed for smooth locations where it’s difficult to get other products to stick, putting the strips on is the first step, and then you put the hook on, which is done by having a small hinge – so you stick the flap onto the strip and then push the hook down, closing the hinge. It sounds more fiddly than it is, and it’s a quite sensible approach to lining it up properly – but also allows for quick and easy removal, as you just lift the flap up and pull the end of the strip to remove it. I wouldn’t hang anything too heavy for it,but it’s useful for hanging small toiletry bags, face towels and other light items from. Could do with a couple more spare strips though.

The pack contacts three small hooks. I used them in the kitchen and bathroom for hanging small items, not quite to the tune of 1kg as stated in the pack but with a reasonable load: metal spatula, hair brush, and shower mitt. These are easy to apply, you just to make sure the surface is very smooth and also clean. I have been using them for a couple of weeks and they seem quite secure. Waterproof too as one is inside the shower cubicle. I have not tested removing it. But I have used other tesa products before and generally they do not leave marks behind if you peel off as directed and carefully. Overall, good quality and quite useful.

You will receive three of these Tesa Powerstrips Hooks, they are really easy to set up and glue, I am always recommended to clean the surface very good before, the results are better if you clean with alcohol after applied I made pressure for a bit and I didn't use it until next day just be sure is glue properly. These ones hold up to 1 kg so be sure for what are you going to use first. They are versatile you can use for a wall, tiles, , plastic, glass and mirrows, they are waterproof so suitable for the bathroom and exteriors, for the garden too.Is a good value if you looking for a bit of quality in this type of items.
