*Update: 4 Years and two children later, these hooks are still up! A total win for me!*I don't know if I'm allowed to mention other brands, but here goes. I actually set out to buy those Command Strips and settled on these as they say they're specifically designed to solve the exact issue I had. I've got a net curtain in the living room, a throwback to the 80's maybe, but it's great for privacy without blocking light when there's a pavement outside. It's fixed to new UPVC frames, which I'm not willing to damage by screwing any mechanical fixings into. I used stick-pad netcurtain hooks, originally some own brand ones from Dunelm, which invariably fell off, initially they lasted 3 months and then I was trying to stick them back up every day. Next, I stupidly ordered a pack of 20 self adhesive hooks from ebay - these were a total joke and the sticky pads stayed up but the hooks fell off. Every 5 minutes. No joke. After getting annoyed at myself for these I decided that our time sticking the hooks back up was worth at least £5 so I arrived at these, which are designed with little plastic adapters to perfectly suit net curtain hooks, with a set of 4 hooks and 5 sticky tabs (presumably one as a spare). After cleaning the window frame with iso alcohol we stuck these on following the instructions and fixed the netcurtain. That was a couple of months ago, and they haven't budged since. A real winner, with change from my budget. Highly recommend Tessa based on this.

I, like I imagine most people would be, was very skeptical that these would be any good. Having had new windows installed the last thing I wanted was to drill holes in them (I liked the idea of a warranty, for one) and decided to go for something that stuck on when I stumbled upon this product. The one thing that I can say about these is that they are every bit as adhesive (and cleanly removable) as the description says. Not that I've tried it, but I could probably hang off these and they wouldn't fall off (OK, maybe a bit over-the-top but very strong nevertheless). I did position some badly, and was able to remove them without any sign of residue and use the spare adhesive pads to get them placed correctly. They have been up for over a month now and they have not moved. They are pretty awesome, so why not full marks? Well each can be used in one of two ways, as a end hook or a mid support, but I found (though a little trial and error) that they would need to be positioned differently depending on the function they were going to serve. This wasn't made particularly clear in the instructions so I wasted an adhesive pad or two in the process.

Fantastic! I've needed curtains in front of a window for a long time but since the window is over the stair case (yes, a dangerous drop for anyone who dares to put up a curtain rail!) I didn't want to ask my husband to drill into the wall, risking breaking his neck and I most certainly wasn't going to fiddle about with screwing a screws into the wall to put a net wire up either. This is the perfect solution! I was able to attach these in SECONDS. Easily and at minimal risk to myself. Now my upstairs landing is safe from the Peeping Tom across the road.Also. One packet can put up two curtains! Because I only needed two sticky pads and two hooks...I have two more hooks and 4 sticky pads left over.Which means another window can be covered. Saving me money. Very happy with that part in paticular. Highly recommended.

If only I had found these sooner! I bought a tassel fly screen and an extendable pole for easy installation. The pole came with self adhesive hooks so that I didn't have to drill any holes into the upvc door frame. Well what a waste of time they were, they became unstuck within an hour. I've since tried Velcro stricky dots and the sucker hooks that I had leftover from Christmas, but each time one or both sides would come unstuck and I was left with the fly screen on the floor and unwanted flies and bees in my house. I then discovered the Powerstrip Net curtain hooks and I am very impressed. I followed the easy to use instructions and made sure that the door frame was squeaky clean before fixing the sticky strip to it.They have been in place for over a month, in all weathers, and haven't budged.

Just had a new UPVC interior door installed and wanted to put a curtain on the window without damaging the UPVC. Was nervous about using the product, but it was wonderful. Please note - it's best to leave it 24 hours before putting the curtain on. I got a bit overzealous and put it on about 1/2 hour later, and woke up the next morning to find one had pulled off, and the other had twisted. However, they came off just as directed and cleanly - so it was worth it to know the removal works.I reapplied them and left for 24 hours and curtain has now been hung for 2 weeks and no issues!___2 Feb 2012The same hooks I described in the above review are still holding almost a year and a half later,so I would still definitely recommend this product as it's proven itself over time.

I read the previous comments concerning the adhesive labels not holding the curtain hooks securely and can confirm that this is the case, but no matter, I had already thought of Plan B! My main reason for buying these hooks was the colour (same as window trim) and that fact that the hooks were conveniently the right size to hold our net curtain rods. My Plan B was to put a small screw as close as possible to the hook so that when I placed the curtain rod on the hook the screw was concealed. Would I buy any more, yes I would, it is no problem at all, I think that the supplier may as well put some screws in with the packaging, I would give 5 stars then, but happy with product, just use tiny screws!

I bought these to hang lightweight curtains in my conservatory. I also used them to hang lightweight sails across the glass roof. We were fairly desperate to get some shade and were prepared to keep replacing/rehanging the hooks if we needed to. Well, we haven't had to replace one single hook so far and they have been holding up our curtains and sails all summer in a real suntrap of a conservatory. It has been fantastic and made the room much, much cooler and completely usable.Brilliant little hooks.

These are brilliant. I had sat there and carefull scraped the adhesive pads off the hooks which came with my curtain rods, and replaced them with command strips. Then I discovered these, which are ready made to do the same thing, and with 2 version of hook as well. I have one set holding a rod for the voile curtains in the Kitchen and a second set holding the curtain tie backs. So easy to do the job. Also used then fro holding tie backs in the Main living room.

These went up about 4 weeks ago and they are still holding tight. I didn't have great expectations and thought they would have come down by now but so far so good. I bought them with the intention of using extra glue to stick them on, but I put them on without extra glue with the mind set that when they eventually fall down, then I will use no nails or something alike! I have used them on 4 upvc windows no wider than 120cm.

I'm not convinced the adhesive strips will be easily removed but so far (a few days) they are holding a 40" drop net curtain and rod up just fine. I found them easier to attach to the wall than the uPVC window as they are quite a chunky size and my windows have slightly uneven corners. It's good that they give you two extra adhesive strips because it is easy to mess them up when working out your placement.

These hooks are great for sticking to PVC windows, I have dark brown ones (rose wood) and net curtains going right across them. They stuck well (I did clean area with white spirit first) and when I take the nets down to wash them the brown hooks are hardly noticeable. They also stick well to other surfaces if clean (plaster, tiles, wood). I highly recommend these Tesa Net Curtain Hooks.

i have read the reviews and was skeptical, but if you follow the instruction well no problems at all.Make sure you clean the area with alcoholic solution ,let it dry, press for 5 to 10 sec,fix it and leave it like that for 20 min, before hanging the curtains(no more than 1 kg),it has been 2 weeks and they are still there very nice.Fast delivery, good packaging too

Bought these to try on our new windows so there was no need to drill an holes into the PVC, Since purchased not one has fell off, I did replace one as I had it slightly lower than the other side (anal I know) but this was a joy to remove with the included release tab these have on them.Great Item highly recommend.

Delivery was expected tomorrow having ordered it Monday, it arrived yesterday. Great product, easy to stick and holds much better than the ones I bought with my net curtain pole which has come unstuck. As I have a rather wide window the 3rd acted as a extra bit to hold the middle by taking the clip off. Recommend.
