Compared to previous Tesa powerstrips we tried recently, these are a much more substantial affair- larger hooks, with larger sticky pads, and with a (believable) advertised maximum weight tolerance that’s much, much higher- higher even than the 3M Command brand that I have generally rated more highly.Having applied them, I do believe that they can take 2Kg, or close to it, so long as it’s applied straight-on and without too much force or stress. They are rock solid and any attempts to pull them off the wall by hand, without following the instructions, is liable to fail. The glue aspect here is much more impressive than before.The glue strips are in packets, like plasters, and are easy and quick to peel and stick.

This is a review for the tesa UK Powerstrips Large Hooks with Removable Adhesive Strips, Rectangle - Chrome, 2 HooksI received these free to write a review on.I have just received a pack and have stuck one to the wall in the bathroom. It went on easily and I only pressed the strip, then the backing plate, for 10 seconds each before haging a bath sheet on it and it held. Some reviewers have said that the adhesive came off after a few days, so I will write back after a time to say how it’s going.This pack comes with an instruction leaflet in 26 languages, two hooks that will hold a bath sheet (it is rated up to 2kg so I didn't put a dressing gown on them) and 4 sticky strips so they can be reused twice each.

I’ve had a new bathroom door installed and I’ve been meaning to get some hooks on the back of my door mainly to gang dressing gowns on.I’m not very DIY savvy at all so anything involving screws and drilling fills me with dread! However these hooks seemed the perfect choice as no screws are needed!Admittedly they were a bit more faffy to install than I expected, the instructions weren’t completely clear to me. You have to stick a strip onto the door, then remove a bit of plastic from the back of the hook and then stick this to the strip. You then supposedly just simply slide the hook down this plastic and lock into place. This was the fiddly part trying to get the hook to attach and then slide down,

Fantastic stick on hooks.I'm always a little apprehensive with these but they do give a weight guide so you dont go over and rip them off.Very easy to assemble. Wash the area where you want to place them.Peel off the back of the sticker and put it in desired place and then peel off the outer sticker and place on your chrome hook.The little tab that is left over, you pull down, it then stretches and rips, securing the glue underneath.I used mine this time to hang hand towels next to my sink. I really like the look of these, they've definitely given the desired effect.I gave a few little tugs to see how strong they are and they feel pretty stuck on there, they seem great.I would definitely recommend,

I received one pack that included 2 silver coated plastic hooks with adhesion tabs.They are easy to instal like commando which I use frequently and looked ok.Only downside is the colour. They no doubt will in a short time start to fade as they are not silver, but plastic coated in a silver pain of some sort. This will in turn give a cheap look. I personally would have been happier with a simple white colour. I already have commando strips which I have in my bathroom. They are white and have been j situ for about 2 years. They look the same as they did when I stuck them up. I can wipe them down and not worry about discolourationAll in all a good product for the price,

First of all I want to tell you that I did not purchase this item but it was sent to me by Amazon in return for an unbiased and honest review.You get two hooks in a pack.Followed instructions, cleaned surface to be used with methylated spirit (important step) and hung our wreath on our new front door, fairly weighty as made with fresh pine branches and a little nervous as new door and it would leave mark, but then removed hook and no mark left at all. Excellent product and useful for so many different things.The silver colour makes it look like chrome.

The product comes with 2 hooks and 4 adhesive tapes.Applying the adhesive strip has easy, simply remove one side of the tape and apply it to a surface, They once pushed on entirely remove the other side, Then you can apply the hook if needed.I used the hooks for jacket holder and face cloth holders, They have both stayed strong, and are still standing.Overall, I would recommend, The adhesive tapes are strong and the hooks are really convenient and leave a good gap for items being attached on.

These hooks are excellent - come in a nice polished effect. These are also very easy to fix - the adhesive is excellent and easy to stick on - safe with no mess - a shame this set doesn’t include the ‘primer’ the other white pair came with - to clean the surface before application.The hooks are deep and a nice size - great for heavy coats, towels etc.Stick to doors and wall - whatever you likeVery nice set of hooks

I have these hooks in my bathroom just to hold my smalls while showering. They have stuck well and stayed in place . I did clean and dry the surface thoroughly before sticking them on my tiles and so far so good. They look good and just the job for what I am using them for. I don't think they would hold heavy items though such as large bath towels.

I found these tests UK Powerstrips hooks very easy to use; I cleaned the surface with Surgical Spirit,followed the directions and they stuck well,and removed easily.I didn't use them on any painted surface so I don't know how that would be; I stuck them on wardrobe doors to make a bit of extra hanging space,and they were fine.

If you prepare your surfaces correctly these hooks will stay up. I would recommend nail varnish remover to remove all dirt and grime where you are going to put them up, allow it to dry and then attach the hooks.They do hold well, but be careful of the weights. They have been fine for me but then i prepared them correctly.

These do exactly as advertised. I’ve applied one to the side of my wardrobe and the other to our store cupboard door. They’re actually easy to apply, although if you’re particular about alignment you might want to use a pencil line as my first attempt was wonky! (So I can also say that removal was easy and damage free!)

These look fantastic and the place I thought they would look nice in our Kitchen. for hanging Utensils. We are using them to hang big spoons. the adhesive is strong enough for what we are using the hooks. I would hesitate to hang any breakable item weighing 1Kg due to my experience with many hooks.

I’ve attached these to plastic trunking in work and with proper preparation they are holding well. Although I’m not putting anything of any weight on them at all just computer peripherals like small webcams and they’re holding fine and also holding up to being taken off and off regularly.

Good hooks. Very easy to stick on and hold towels etc very well. However don't like the colour as silver makes it look very cheap and nasty. It's obvious it's chrome coloured plastic, which isn't a good look. I'd prefer them white or other neutral colour.
