This was a replacement for my other router the more expensive tk11, which lasted about 3 weeks before the motor burnt-out unfortunately, having not registered the guarantee, took a loss there. In use so far I have found it to be no better that my other routers that cost half the price. No complaints about ordering through amazon, delivery was next dayUnfortunately this is a case of paying for the brand name, not the quality.Advice, register the guarantee and keep all the paperwork. This is an update to my previous commentI was contacted by Trend customer services, who much to my surprise agreed to replace the original faulty T11 router FCO. Full marks to the customer service team!!In all fairness to Trend here is a brief review of the T10 router, which has been in use for a couple of months and is used in a commercial joinery business.Yes it works! This is a professional router that will work all day every day as you would expect from the Trend brand. My only regret was getting the T11, which isno better than the T10, in fairness the T11 is designed to be used in a router table,The T10. As a stand alone bench router is as good as it getsI would highly recommend it, from a professional user.

Exactly the same as the DeWalt but a little cheaper, this is a fantastic router. The only minor issue is that it is pretty heavy and powerful and there will be times you need this, and times you don't. The real reason in my opinion for this router is that it will take larger bits for kitchen worktops and stairs and so on. This particular model accepts more widely available accessories than the T11, but at the same time can not accept larger diameter bits that you might use in a router table. So the T11 is better for a table, the T10 is better for hand use.The reason I bought this router over the identical DeWalt is simply that Trend support their routers better.By that I mean there are far more readily available accessories for the router than for DeWalt. Of course they are largely interchangeable so you can probably ( I have never tried this ) use the DeWalt track system with this router via the DWS50031.Anyway, all in all, an excellent device.

I researched routers for 2 months with the main aim to use in a sled for planing 3" thick timber flat as i don't have a planer big enough to do the job. I settled on the Trend T11 as this seemed to be very well reviewed by other people with only a few gripes. The only issue that i have, as pointed out by other users is the depth stop knobs, being virtually useless. To be fair, i wont ever use this as i found the fine adjustment to be perfect. I started off putting it to the test on a 3" thick piece of apple which was very badly bowed in the center and the router didn't miss a beat. I used a Sourcingmap 1/2-Inch Shank 1-1/4-Inch Cutting Dia 2-Flute Carbide Tipped Cleaning Bottom Router Bit which i purchased on Amazon, and add the 2 together i just couldn't fault them. The router motor didn't change its tone once, despite the hardness of the wood. I'm glad i decided on this router and look forward to using it again.

This router is my second 1/2” router, it is a vast improvement on my last one. The soft start makes it so nice to use, it’s not too heavy so is easy to manoeuvre, plunge depth is incredible and should be enough for anything! I bought this from abbey power as an ex demo unit and it’s in almost mint condition. The only complaint i have is that it didn’t come with the plastic depth gauge lens but these can be picked up for only a few pounds. Overall I would recommend this router to any diy or professional user.

Robust machine. I just tried it but I can feel its quite a heavy-duty machine, I have a Makita and a Ryobi router. The only thing which I found not friendly is the switch. It's operated by the left hand. You have to push it down to switch off but it's awkward to push it upwards to switch on. Hopefully, I get used to it (have to). Otherwise, I am happy with the machine especially with the ability to lower or raise the cutter when mounted in a router table from the table surface.

I researched a number of the popular power tool makes but a friend advised that Trend was "bombproof"My experience with routers was quite limited so confidence was a little shakey. The machine with its variable motor was responsive and even though it was a solid piece of kit the router glided through the timber with hardly any effort. A worthwhile purchase and assuming you give it respect a must for any woodworker

Affordable and good quality. I use this router under my router table and I love it so much I bought another one for freehand work. The micro adjustment for setting the depth of cut works well and is quick and easy to adjust. The soft start, so common on recent models, is smooth with very little snatching that might cause it to twist in your hand. A good piece of kit.

I already have a Dewalt DW625 which is good. The T11 is even better in that it has a micro adjuster built in which means it improves freehand adjustment but makes use under a table so much easier. No more breaking my back, crouched under a table. Adjustment can now be done from above. Pity a 1/4" collet wasn't included and the price Trend ask for one is outrageous.

What a piece of kit this is. I have a trend router table that I had been using a Bosch router with a make shift lift. This product is a different level. Soft start, variable speed, depth control whilst mounted in the table. A great product. I haven't come across anything that this router struggles with.My one gripe is that a 1/4 inch collet is a separate at £30.

Only used for a few jobs so far but plan to use this often, great to use straight out of the box. Fine adjustment and easy figment to router table. Excellent for deeper work where the 1/2 inch cutter is needed .Also nice to have a bit of kit that easily returns to the case without playing tetris with it to close the lid.

Very happy with my purchase just what i ordered. Arrived in good time. Bought accessories to go with it. Trend is always a good make. Was concerned when i saw a different make cardboard surrounding the box with the packaging though believe this was done for extra protection during carriage.

I brought the Trend T11EK router to fit to my Trend Router table, It is a powerful piece of kit. and it also has a 80mm cutting depth instead of the normal 50mm, which is a great asset, as it gives you more scope to what you can do.I would recommend the T11EK to anyone.

I only purchased this router a few days ago (sorry but not from Amazon) for £295. My only gripe is paying all that money and there is only a 1/2" collet provided. That aside this router, like all trend equipment, just oozes quality. This will last for years.

Bought this and a jig as I was fitting a new kitchen in our bungalow. Used it for the masons mitre and trimming the work top. This is a professional tool, Started using it for other projects around the house. Very useful bit of kit.
