This has become a firm favourite in our household. Finding most bourbons oversweet, this rye-heavy whiskey has a drier finish than most and is wonderful mixed with lime and a good quality sugar-free ginger ale. I’d agree that the price is on the high side, especially as it’s bottled at just 40%ABV, but it you’re canny you can sometimes pick it up at a discount (spoiler: it tends to feature in the Black Friday and Prime a Day deals). Even at full price though, this is a great, distinctive bourbon that’s well worth investigating.

Like other reviewers it is a tad on the expensive side. Having said that.....I love it! I first discovered this whilst in New York. Sold out at the duty free on the way home so when my wife bought this for me at Christmas I was made up. Every time I taste a drop it reminds me of my most remarkable holiday in the states. For that it’s worth every penny. Smooth with delicious taste what more do you need in a quality bourbon?

The bourbon that started me on my whisky journey. This was the first bottle I ever purchased to feed my curiosity. It is so easy & friendly to drink and great tasting, not your typical bourbon. Slightly on the pricier side for a bourbon here in the UK considering what else you could get for around half the price but nonetheless would be happy to drink again some day.

Love my whiskey and recently started to get into bourbon. This is one of my favourites, second only to Blanton’s special reserve ( but which is about £15 more expensive). If you want a great authentic Kentucky bourbon, start here.Also the look of the bottom is great, the band around the middle holding the loose paper label.All in all a great bourbon.

Nice whiskey, if you like high Rye you will love this very smooth with nice spicy aftertaste. It looses a star cause it’s a very good Whiskey, but not great and at 45-50 bucks you want something really special. It’s a tad over priced. At 33-35 it’s a steal at 50 bucks I think you are paying for fancy marketing.

Very nice smooth taste , l have enjoyed drinking it straight and l think it's worth the £40 l paid for it. The bottle is different with it's label being held on by a metal band around bottle and looks good in my spirit display drink cabinet

Introduced to this bourbon by friends in North Carolina and whisky bourbon isn't my go-to, this is excellent at the price. We drank several bottles at our wedding with friends.

Very nice bourbon but it's a world beater, for the price I was expecting something special like Wild Turkey rare breed but wasn't in the same ball park

Got this at JFK duty free, very tasty indeed. Looses one star as it's a tall bottle, doesn't fit in my whisky display cupboard!! ?

Not sure what all the fuss is about for the price bottle of Jack Daniels or Jim bean is far better
