I don't know why I didn't buy one of these years ago! It's such an abstract yet totally functional little piece of kitchen decor. I did have a set of Joseph Joseph utensils which would lie up from the kitchen work top so wouldn't get grease or food on the surface, but after they aged and discoloured I replaced them with conventional utensils. No one wants the hassle of either resting their utensils on a piece of kitchen roll where it may stick or worse still directly onto a kitchen unit which despite being cleaned regularly, you don't want to cross-contaminate. I have a cat and despite my best efforts he will not stop walking along the units when I'm not looking and although I have a thorough cleaning routine I just find this adds a little extra peace of mind.It also look really good,

Blip sits beside my kettle and is perfect for plonking a T-bag into or resting the sugar spoon. I love the interesting design and this would make a lovely gift for Alessi collectors.My blip was purchased in 2016 and have gone through the dishwasher every day. It looks as good as it did when I purchased it!I really should get another one so I also have one to use when cooking! Great value for money and I highly recommend. It will last a life time and probably get passed on down generations!

Its granite Alessi predecessor simply smashed, so I moved into the stainless steel mode. It lies like a crumpled piece of silver on the worktop - easy to use, easy to find, easy to wash. It is likely to become a Christmas present favourite for next year. Discount for bulk purchases?

I can't believe I am raving over a spoon rest, but being Alessi, it is obviously well designed and excellent quality. I am so please I purchased another for my friend's 50th birthday (she loves cooking). I just hope she is as keen as I am, as it's a slightly unconventional gift!!

Love this! It’s practical, easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and looks great. We are always getting comments on it when we have people over as it’s so different and really stands out. It’s like having a little functional piece of art in the kitchen.

My kitchen spoons are always hard at work so they deserve a good place to rest. This Alessi spoon rest keeps my spoons off of the work surface and ready to use at a moments notice. It wipes clean easily and sits on my granite worktop very happily.

This seems expensive for what it is, but it is very practical and can hold fork or knife as well as a spoon. It's Alessi but affordable, Nice design and use everyday now.. getting an Alessi collection bug ?

Just received my Alessi Spoon Rest, not dissapointed but wouldn't expect anything less I have also got an Alessi Hob kettle and the biscuit barrel, their designs and quality are great and worth every penny

The Alessi Blip Steel Spoon Rest is beautifully styled and excellent quality. It works too, and has been suitable for any of the wide range of shape and size spoons that I have been using. I really like it

This was a gift and the reicpient loved it. Practical and above all smart. Just right to add a touch of elegance to the cooker work surface! The product arrived promptly, well before the date promised.

Love the design ....and the function. Only small issue I have is that it is a little 'scratchy' on the bottom and if you had a kitchen surface that marked easily it could be problematic.

Lovely quality item. We treat ourselves to a few quality pieces for the kitchen each year as you see them every day! This is lovely to look at and is useful too. Would recommend

I am a huge Alessi fan and like most of their designs. It so nice to see items for the day to day use presented in a great non boring way! I just love their ideas!

Beautifully designed this shiny spoon rest looks amazingly in a modern kitchen. Plus it's not as tiny as I expected and I can fit a couple of spoons while I cook
