Bit pricey DJ or a plastic sealant gun compared with metal framed gun from DIY store, but far superior. It is sturdy, light weight and has a rotatable collar which allows you to turn the gun whist in use or choose a more comfortable angle. But most importantly it stops applying pressure the moment you release the trigger. No more sealant/caulk oozing out. It allows you to start again without needed to clean the nozzle. The piston rod also just pulls back to realise the cartridge without the need to play around with tricky little catches. Have not dropped it yet so can’t compare with traditional metal frame but would buy again as it a please to use. Awarded the Jimbo gold seal of approval.

I used this item with the Gorilla Glue instant bond cartridge to attach a 5ft x 3ft x 1/4inch MDF panel to the wall that had taken me four days to rub down, spray with primer then sprayed with high gloss black paint and then coated with multiple costs of clear coat laquer, approx weight 8kg's and found the item very easy to load the cartridge and very easy to squeeze the bonding agent out of the cartridge in easy faultless squeeze actions.The squeeze action did not jam at all but it all depends on the quality of the bonding agent's cartridge quality.It's very light to hold and I found it faultless.It is expensive but faultless in build quality and ease of use.5* + for this item.

As a DYIer I generally use these guns for round the house jobs bath sink toilet etc. I’ve had enough of the cheap awful metal guns that are a faff to use and leak silicone everywhere when you put them down and you end up need ten pairs of handsThis gun is light and the trigger action is so easy I found myself looking for extra jobs to do, and that’s a first.I love the fact that there was no over spill, guess this may vary with products used but I used a cheap no nonsense one from Screwfix and it stopped when I stopped.Bit sad to get excited about a product like this but love it hence the 5 stars for me

I've had this for over a year now and love it. Its light to hold one handed, precise action so no sudden spurts, and best of all it cuts off instantly when you stop squeezing. Much easier to do a neat job.The rotating plastic locking section can get a bit stiff to turn for some reason.The only real weakness of this gun is it hasn't the power to extrude a stiff mastic. Occasionally I've had to go back to a well built metal gun.

Amazingly easy to use. Always used a traditional type, but as hands have become a bit older I found them increasingly difficult to use. After reading the reviews decided to go for this as I’ve been replacing shower room. I can’t believe how easy it is to use. Very little pressure required and no leakage from nozzle when you stop squeezing trigger. Once you get used to how to insert and remove tube from the gun it is a doddle.

Nice gun, best Iv used so far, easy to install your cartridges, trigger is nice to hold, seems to be well made but time will tell. The "automatic drip-stop function - prevents the caulk from oozing out after releasing the trigger" does not work on mine but it's just as east to pull the bar back a little and that will stop it or just put the cap on the end like I do.

A good find. I find that many metal caulking guns jam and threaten the safety of my fingers. With the Wolfcraft it was easy to insert the cartridge. The handle was shaped for fingers so was comfortable to use. Light pressure (rather than the strength of Hercules) was required to squeeze out the silicone. Caulking gun arrived much earlier than the suggested date.

After watching multiple guides about how to apply silicon around a bath I came to the conclusion that I needed a gun that didn't have the locking tab, this one came up in a search and I am really pleased with it. When you press the trigger and release it the flow of silicon / caulk stops and you don't end up with a dribble coming out of the tip. Fantastic.

Unlike all the other cheaper guns I have tried which require you to click the release at the back in order to prevent leaking (oozing silicon out the end) this does not and it does not leak at all. It is very easy to control, feels very well made and it a pleasure to use...Forget the cheap rubbish and get this... You will not be disappointed.

Love this. Does exactly as per the description. Once you stop squeezing, the plunger withdraws a bit and the leakage is minimal. However, you can easily pull the plunger back. Sturdy plastic body and feels well made. Happy to have bought this. Loading it is different to other guns. Bottom end in first. Good gun for household jobs

Compared to standard metal gun this is one is 100 times better - I used it tonight for some caulking and it was absolutely effortless - the handle is very soft, I had to put hardly any pressure and I had no pain or blisters.I’m a girl with hardly any caulking experience but I managed to do a good job using this tool.

Feels good in the hand and despite being mostly plastic the build quality is very acceptable. Trigger action is nice and smooth and the fit of the tube in the magazine is snug.Overall good enough for your average DIY'er. Wouldn't say it's heavy duty enough for professional use but it's not priced for that market.

I am really surprised just how much better this sealant gun is above the generic types in DIY stores. It is very easy to squeeze the trigger, delivers the sealant easily, accurately and stops the delivery when the trigger is released... rather than the continued mess normally experienced.

I used this to finish sealing round my sink and bath. It was so much easier to use than my previous sealant gun. I have arthritis in my fingers and using this did not affect them at all. Easy trigger and instant drip stop. Its better than I thought it would be and I highly recommend it.

Coming from a standard caulking gun, this product is fantastic. My standard gun is just too harsh on your hands to do a good job and requires much more effort than needed.This product is well made, light and fairly ergonomic. It's made caulking a lot easier on jobs round the house!
