Solidly made from approximately 5mm steel and very weighty. Has a nice soft protective fabric underneath to prevent marking the floor and the anvil block welded to it for tapping the board into place is a much better job than levering a board I to place. Don't bother with a cheap alternative this will last and do what it is supposed to. The only criticism I could offer is that due to the thickness of the steel the folded part that you place over the end of the board in order to pull it requires at least a 5mm gap between the board and wall already. Might be an idea to grind it from the front side to a wedge shape to allow prying boards that are closer to the wall while retain a 90 degree angle

If you are fitting "laminate Flooring 8mm-Upwards", DO NOT BUY A CHEAP LAMINATE KIT:- Why you ask yourselfas i did and found the hard way. (The Pull Bar Was To Thin) and after time by hitting the boarding with it the pull barkept bending,later broke off,i had to rebend it.I must have bent the cheap bar 50 times ,so frustrating running back anf forthrebending into shape.This is a lot of time lost.I also found the bouble rounded hammer far to light for the job in hand and not to mention the side hitting block for the laminatebroke in small places.In my opinion buy the best NOT RUBISH.

Decided to lay laminate flooring ourselves in our first house instead of paying someone else to do it. I read reviews about the flooring kits you get and realised that a better pull bar could make a big difference. We've now laid two good sized room, with the hall and one more to go. This pull bar has made it super easy. It's really heavy and solid and only requires a tap or two to pull things into place. It feels very high quality considering the fairly low price. Well worth it.

Real heavy metal and solid ... and perfect for the job. Some of the paint was flaking when it arrived but given I was going to belt it with a hammer anyway, this wasn't worth docking a star.I can't imagine doing the job so well with the much flimsier looking items in the kits (and I had plenty of wedges ...).You won't regret it.

Quality well made piece of kit. Perfect for the job. The end could be a lottle thinner, its ok for a 6mm expansion gap but any narrower and you wont be able to get it between floor and wall. Great buy

This was twice the price of the last similar device I have used, however what a difference, very sturdy build.If you are laying flooring get this one forget the cheaper alternatives.

Heavy and solid - definitely worth investing in if you are laying your own wooden flooring. Much better quality than the cheaper versions that come in the ready-made packs.

Very handy tool for fitting laminate carpet with a very solid build. You can bash this thing all day and it will keep it's shape.

Better than a standard one you get from b&q. It's underside has felt on to protect the floor, if you're giving it some welly.

Solid and well made. Comfortable to use for firm pulling and sturdy enough for a good whack if required.

Does the job very well, solid and precise
