Excellent guide rail.I used it to trim interior doors to length (height).Unfortunately, my circular saw has a base plate which was too small for this guide. I made a new "base plate" of a suitable size from some scrap chipboard, then cut out a rectangle to fit my saw base plate. Worked a treat.Also being a small saw, there was not enough cutting depth to get through the door, so I carefully transferred the marking to the other side, turned the door over and cut from the other side as well. Again this worked well.Another reviewer mentioned that the rubber strip on his got cut away quickly. I had read this before using, so each time before I made a cut,

I bought the saw guide specifically for a prooject where I needed a precise rip cut of over 2 meters through 3cm thick oak, so I used this item together with the extender.My DeWalt DW384 - a rather substantial tool fitted easily into the shoe. The supplied clamps slide along the underside of the rail, then clamp the workpiece into place.On the shoe the cutline is indicated by a rubberised flange type of arrangement, I found it very easy to see exactly where the cut would be made. The shoe slides along without any sort of bearing, so there is a little play in the system - in practise I found the cuts were as good as my measurements allowed for.The extender attaches to the standard rail guide using a metal coupling bar secured with hex screws.

This item is very good. Once you have set it up for your make of saw and made the fine final adjustments it works brilliantly. I have never used a guide rail before so I did wonder how I would get along. I should think it will take most sized circular saws due to the mounting/holding system. Your saw does not clamp into the rail, more like slots into it. At first thought this was a bit strange but now I have used it a few times it is a much better system. I am ordering the extension rail so that I can cut full size boards.I highly recommend this Wolfcraft guide rail.

This tool is well designed and made and does what it says. It was easy to adjust it to fit my old B&Q circular saw and would appear to have enough adjustment to fit virtually any circular saw that I may decide to buy in future. The slide has adjustment screws to reduce any play between it and the guide which will allow for any wear. I haven't actually used it in anger yet but it shows every sign of performing well when I do.

The track and clamps are OK but the sled is a joke. Only recommended if you plan to cut off limbs as well as timber. Not a problem for me as I own a Wolfcraft workstation and the insert that holds the tools also doubles as a track saw sled. It's very bulky but fits perfectly.

Used it to cut various materials and depths. & once set up to your saw provided a fairlyaccurate, straight cut.However, the carriage that your saw sits in is really bendy plastic and could do to be more substantial. This lets this product down.

Very well made easy to use an set up would probably fit every main powered circular saw not so good for cordless ones as the foot plate is smaller but this is good enough for my every day use an am thinking of buying another to save swapping

DIY project would be incomplete with this guide, used along side my Evolution Fury Circular saw, Worth every penny you spend.Once you learn the trick, every cut is a straight cut!

One of brackets that hold saw in was missing. Guide plate is a bit flimsy would off been better if metal .but saying that used to shorten three doors works fine clean square cuts.

Once it is set up, it is very accuate and easy to use. I would buy another one if this one was lost or damaged. Will buy an extension soon.

Used to cut work tops, very good when cutting but the aluminium guide bends slightly with the weight of the circular saw before the cut.

Used to cut down a worktop. Takes a while to set up but managed to cut it straight. Had to use the extension as was 120cm wide.

Without a saw table you have no chance of making straight cuts. This is so easy to use. Perfect for the diyer.

Does 90% as good a job as a proper plunge saw setup for 10% of the money. Setting up properly is key though.
