One of the ad pictures shows this attachment used for drilling a hole in the corner of a kitchen cabinet and this is perfect if you have limited access at the sides of the proposed hole. But I purchased this because I had limited access above the proposed hole and it was not quite so useful. Obviously, the gears inside dictate the shape of the device, but I think an alternative wider and flatter design would be more useful and I would be prepared to purchase both items. Also, all the ads show a small spanner included in the bubble pack, but non was included in my one. I could not even see an indentation where one could sit. OK, so this is no big deal as I already had a spanner of this size. But when small things like this are omitted I begin to wonder if the product is genuine or a fake knock-off. Only time will tell.Read full review...

I hardly ever remove this accessory from my Dremel, it makes so many jobs so much easier. Makes the Dremel slightly noisier, inevitable with bevel gears, but not too much. This is my second one. I broke the first by locking the Dremel with its button whilst unscrewing a jammed chuck from the accessory. I should have used a tommy bar through the shaft of the accessory as shown in the instructions. Too much strain on the flexible cable in the accessory. My fault entirely. This tool improves access in tight spots and allows deeper cutting with disks. Generally makes the Dremel easier to use.Highly recommended.

I got it primarily to cut out some of the dash in my motorhome to fit a double din radio. I used a cutting disc. I could see clearly where I was cutting and was able to right get into the corners. I wanted to make sure I would be able to refit, the piece I cut out, if I ever change my motorhome and wanted to keep the radio. In my opinion it is generally easier to cut a line accurately 'side on' rather than mounted in front of the Dremel or even on the flexible extension.I can see it being a vey useful accessory

I used this with my Dremel 8200 cordless Rotary Tool to get access to a pesky wing nut underneath the toilet cistern which had seized. The nut and bolt were both turning, rounding off the steel plate. The space between the cistern and boxed in pipes was tight and turning the cutting blade through 90 degrees allowed me to cut the wing nut off flush to the washer. Without this tool I would not have been able to have done this job.Its a must have attachment for these kind of jobs.

A useful attachment for any Dremel user simple to attach and then use in a similar fashion to the direct drive.I found it particularly useful for making accurate angled cuts on plastic tile edges and drilling in tight spaces. The only drawback I have found is that sometimes when doing a flush cut in a tight space the body of the Dremel itself gets in the way. Under those circumstances I would recommend the flexible attachment instead.Overall very happy with it.

I am a heavy user as a modelmaker and over the years have had three of these units if used with more consideration will probably last a very long time Have also had two flexidrives again they have been usered a lot both of these I have used a lot far harder than most people would if you consider the size and treat them with care they should last but for me I do expect a lot from my tools. Hope this helps in your choice come back if you need to know more

A great addition for your Dremel easy to fit and works well...but with just one draw back - the grease on the internal gears consists of a big blob of silicon grease which in mine was placed on the inside of the casing leaving the gears dry and running noisy and hot. Any one with experience of chines air-soft would recognize the problem of to much of the wrong grease in the wrong place. But it is an easy fix and once done gives you a great tool

Build quality is better than I expected, although it's very noisy. It has a lot of gear noise. Don't know if mine is unique in that respect... It'd be nice if it had a locking button like on the dremel itself, rather than having to find something to put through the shaft. It has a cable inside which flexes, so you can't really lock the shaft via the button on the dremel, it feels like you'll cause damage to it internally.

An overall worthwhile accessory. With the angle drive fitted, the Dremel is less ergonomic and a little harder to use, but this is more than compensated in its ability to reach inaccessible areas. Ideal for cutting in the centre of a piece of sheet material where the diameter of the Dremel would normally mean cutting at an angle. Slightly noisier than the basic Dremel, but that's inevitable with bevel gears. Recommended

I was struggling to cut a hole in the locker of my motorhome and there just wasn't enough room to use my Dremel. Then I discovered this right angle adapter. Using this my Dremel made quick work of the job.As mentioned by other reviewers, it does reduce the battery run-time but that wasn't a problem for me. It would have been nice if it had come with another collett assembly.

This is so useful I've left it on the Dremel all the time. All the bits fit and I find it's easier with the 90 degree bend for lots of jobs, grinding, engraving drilling. Originally bought it for drilling inside a confined space inside a cabinet, really versatile and handy tool, it's only 2.91 inches ( 74mm) from rear to end of chuck, add on extra depending on tool selection.

Really useful attachment makes using the dremel a lot easier. A userful tip is to warm up the gears slowly to allow the grease to coat the gear teeth (there is just a blob of grease put in the top of the unit and none on the gear teeth) Have heard a lot of people have had problems by going straight to max revs and overheating the unit.

Relatively simple to attach to my Drexel 4000 drill and enabled me to accurately drill out a fitting that I could not have otherwise accessed. Bought for this specific purpose but will, no doubt, prove very useful for many other tasks where the working area is restricted. Feels quite sturdy and, so far, has proved invaluable.

This is permanently fitted to my cordless Dremel because it's pretty much always the easiest way to cut.I'd used my Dremel before I discovered the right-angle chuck, and it was " just ok to use", but the addition of this is a game-changer. It's not cheap, but it's very well made and so easy to use.Highly recommended.

Certainly worked well for me, bought the diamond cutting wheel to go with it. Job was cutting sections of tile off the wall to install a glass splashback. Wasn't sure it could take the required loading and continuous running, but it did well, no overheating or anything. Rather chuffed with it.
