Purchased this fitting kit as we have just moved house and I'm fitting an new laminate floor. First impression of the kit is it was well presented in a bag but my initial gut feel was there wasn't enough spacers in the kit. Using the wooden mallet to join the laminate together was a lot better than using the pulling ledge as it supported the ends and side of laminate better not causing any damage as I had found with pulling ledge. As I was fitting laminate to my living room and dinning room the actual square footage was quite high so my gut feeling was right and it could do with some more spacers. One thing to note is if your using the wooden mallet and you want to give it a little tap with a hammer,

Good quality laminate laying kit, spacers are adjustable which makes it very cool if you have uneven wall, you simply lay them down longer side facing floor and pointy end together. One of them will overlay the other, you can maneuver them left to right increasing or decreasing the gap! Wood is great quality buy you have to use proper hammer for wood and also hit it in the middle not the edge. Please do not listen few people here saying that wood is bad quality... they simply have no clue what they are saying. Quality kit for a great price. Highly recommended.

We cannot fault this product. We used the official version from a large flooring manufacturer previously, but we had only borrowed it. This version was under half the price, so we thought it was worth a go. The tapping block, spacers, and metal hook are all very functional. As with any version of these tools, it’s important to be very careful to protect the groove of the interlocking flooring when tapping the floor together. This can very easily be damaged, which will cause a real headache if you’re not careful.

Used it to install 30m2 of heavy duty 12mm laminate. The block was used a lot, and the shape worked really well, preventing damage to the boards. The metal puller was used a little but also worked well and didn't leave any damage. I didn't end up using the wedges. They're a bit small, thinner than the recommended 10mn gap you should leave at the edges, so I just used cork filling strips instead. Overall I highly recommend this kit and it should last many years of diy use

This is a great kit and i have used it to lay A LOT of flooring. I have used it on standard 12mm thick all the way down to 3mm and the metal "tapper" works great in each case. The packers are a nice idea but i haven't found too much use. The wooden block is brilliant, for a bit... it doesn't take too long to splinter and i replaced with a decent bit of oak that has lasted longer.Overall a good kit.

The quality of this set is great, after reading the reviews I was a bit dubious with the quality the wooden device to knock the flooring in would be? It is great quality, ppl who say it falls to pieces must be using a different one to what I was sent. It was solid and overall the kit deserves 10 stars, and I would have paid double the price considering the light work it made of a difficult job.

Well it does everything you'd want to to do. The fact that the spacers were ridged meant that you're able to get a much more accurate fit for the spacing around the edge. Overall, it's a good product that's done the job.It could do with a little "silencer" on the metal pull bar, but that's about the only thing I'd change.

Great for the price, the main thing for me was the pull bar which is well finished in gloss, padded on the underside and is robust.At this price point most of what you get bends within the first few taps but not this one. Still in pristine shape after flooring an entire living room. Good quality tapping block too

This is a good quality kit, The hardwood knocking block doesn't do any damage to the flooring and you can use a normal hammer on it, The pulling tool is also good quality and even has protective pads on the underside so as not to scratch the flooring, all in all, a good buy, would recommend.

Really good quality kit and indesipensible for laying the floor. The spacers are a good idea (being able to adjust the gap) but there are only 10 complete spacers unless you use them individually - if so be careful as the change in thickness can make them hard to get out of the gap

The pulling ledge is essential tool for laying laminate flooring, I am not sure how you would do it without this tool. However the details list it comes with a mallet which it doesn't. I bought Silverline 633905 Mallet which worked perfectly for this.

The pulling bar is fantastic. Strong and up to the job. I misplaced it and bought a different brand from a national screw company and theirs was light weight and slightly springy steel. Not a patch on this. The block of wood is really hard and strong

A basic kit, sturdy and good value for what I needed - to reposition some flooring tiles not laid correctly. Not sure if a professional would use it, but it did the job successfully for me.

Works decently well though I'd prefer if the pulling ledge was a bit thinner so I could insert it easily. The wooden block gets a bit out of shape with use.

A must for anyone laying laminate flooring.The spaces are a bit fiddly and kept on falling over but everything made laying the flooring a breeze.
