Running a home office from which I send out printed booklets, I get through quite a few staples and need them to go through up to 16 sheets of 80 gsm paper. I bought some Rapesco S24602Z3 Staples because they were a little bit cheaper than these Rexels. What a false economy that turned out to be. I tried 14 of the Rapesco staples in two different staplers. Not a single one of them went through the 16 sheets. So I bought these Rexel ones instead and every single one of them has gone through perfectly. The Rapescos went in the recycling, hopefully into something actually useful. From now on, it's Rexel every time. Sheesh, I sound like an advert. Ah well, a reviewers job is to say something's good if it's good, and these really are good...

Although intended for use with Rexel's staplers, there are many other brands that use the same grade (26/6) and they can therefore be used almost universally. The gauge is more common than any other and they can be obtained quite readily. The 1000 pack size is quite sufficient for the occasional user but the larger 5000 pack can be obtained too.Be aware that some staplers are described as 'single strip', others as 'half-strip' although probably less common than they once were, and others 'two- or twin-strip' which means that they will accept either two standard strips or one extra long one.Quite inexpensive, it is worth having a pack on hand because sooner or later the stapler will empty.

Two thousand might sound like quite a lot of staples but the box they arrive in is hardly larger than a couple of matchboxes side by side, so unless you're just a very occasional stapler consider getting a bigger one. These No.56 staples seem to be one of the most common sizes, if not the most common, so you're bound to find various staplers they'll fit.As you'd expect from the Rexel name the quality is good and I haven't suffered a jammed or broken staple yet. They're packed in quite short sticks and you get 20 in the box but they're easy to snap apart to fill whatever size of stapler you've got. Straightforward product at a fair price, what else is there to say?

After trying non-Rexel staples in my Rexel stapler and encountering numerous problems, I was delighted with these original staples. Previously, the stapler would jam, or the staples just bend, about 50% of the time if I tried to staple more than 5-6 pages, but with these original Rexel staples, I've not had this happen once (yet) despite using it for fairly thick documents (20 or so pages). They're excellent value too.My only gripe is that they were not very well packed; the individual packets of staples had all come open and most of the contents were loose in the outer box.

I've always like to use a fountain pen but being left handed they're sometimes a bit messy!A friend suggested I try the Pilot V7 pens, and what a great idea that was! They really are lovely to write with and no smudging. The ink flow is smooth and consistent. For some reason I do prefer the disposable version as I find the refill pens a little bit 'scratchy' when writing, but its hardly noticeable.I prefer the V7 to the V5 too - the V5 was a bit too fine for me, which again gave a sctatchy feel when writing.Highly recommend the V7 refill pens!

Good quality staples. Ryman is a good make. These staples manage several sheets of standard weight 80gsm paper easily, and also the heavier 100gsm that I use in presentations. This replaces my last lot of 5,000 Ryman staples, which has taken 28 years to use up (the Ryman stapler I bought then is still going strong) - they were good quality so I bought the same make. 5,000 staples for under 3quid is also good value. Prompt despatch by seller Fiveboys. Came well-packaged in a padded envelope, and small enough to fit through a standard letterbox.

cheap staples get through about 4 pieces of paper before going wonky, these bad boy staples get through about 20, you would think that all staples are born equal but they clearly are not, well worth the bit extra for these - and lets face it - you're not likely to be getting through them all in the next couple of months, so as a long term investment, you will be glad you bought these, rather than picking out bits of deformed ones from your carpet time and time again from a cheap brand.

I needed staples, I had none left. Rexel is a name I am familiar with for reliable stationery supplies. These staples were the size I needed and they are cheap 80p for 2000. Most importantly that 80p was just enough to push my order value over the irritating new £10 minimum order required for free delivery. The staples came, good quality, I'm stapling again but at current rates of use it will be some years before I need to order again.

Popular size 56(26) staples, that have 6mm legs fit so many staplers and are robust and strong enough to hold substantive documents together. There are 2000 in this pack at a very modest cost, making them good value for money as well as top quality. It isn't worth buying unheard of brands because of the reliability of these - they always work and deliver time and time again. Great staples, great value too!

Cheaper staples are available, but have proved a false economy given the number that end up bent and jammed. This happens occasionally with even these Rexel ones, but far less frequently and typically only when trying to use them with a thicker wodge of paper. Nor do these strips break easily. All in all, these are the best staples you can put in your stapler - which will probably be made by Rexel too.

....WRONG. I have a Rexel stapler, amongst other brands and have tried many different and cheaper brands of staples in them. Don't you get annoyed when they get jammed and you have to find something to poke them out with? Not anymore! I always blamed the stapler, but with these babies in you can staple multiple pages with no issues. Sometimes, you just get what you pay for I guess.

A simple thing, but it works. I had been using ASDAs own staples and got frustrated as they baulked when stapling larger numbers of sheets of paper together.Just gone back to a previous document with my new staples, which had a failed staple trying to hold it together and PTANG! straight through, no bother. This is a demonstration of the difference between cheap and good value.

These sturdy staples are a handy desk drawer must have for all the paperwork generated by our household, especially our college-going daughter. They work extremely well, unlike some cheaper refills they don’t bend or twist when expected to go through and join together more than two bits of paper at a time. A well known household name, tried and trusted and deservedly so.

I have been a huge fan of these pens for years and have only ever used other pens, begrudgingly, when I've failed to notice my pens are out of ink, but replacing entire pens has been the only, slightly costly, option to date, and their only fault. Then came the cartridge system..........and there was darkness no more. Just perfection and a drawer of spare cartridges.

How do you review a box of staples!! They are what they are - good quality staples at a sensible price well packed in a bos & promptly depatched. Perfect fit in my stapler which I would expect as thet are both the same make. You can probably buy cheaper but it's not worth risking a few pence to have staples that jam in the stapler
