As they say, 'I liked it so much I purchased more!' I originally set out to buy what I believe is called a 'biker chain', a security device that attaches a wallet (say) to a trouser belt so that it cannot get lost or stolen. They are often worn by motorcyclists in the USA but the fad has crossed the Atlantic and they are now to be found being worn by non-motorcyclists too, everywhere. I went in search of a biker chain solution but none of the examples I found completely satisfied my requirement. It was pure chance that I stumbled upon the offering from Swiss company Victorinox. I own several Victorinox multiplex pocket knives and I carry one everywhere with me.I know from long experience that Victorinox make products of unsurpassed quality and that reputation made me take a closer look at the Multiclip which includes 2 chains, one for a wallet, the other for a bunch of keys, although both chains could be used for entirely different uses. The Multiclip was not expensive so I purchased one and I was delighted by what I found. The 'clever bit' is the solid metal belt hanger which clips over the trouser belt without the need to first remove the belt. The clever mechanism clips over the belt and 'locks' in such a way that it is virtually impossible for the belt hanger to detach itself, yet it is sufficiently simple to operate that it can be removed or attached within seconds. The chains are very strong without being heavyweight. Often chains can be over engineered and therefore heavy or overlong. The Victorinox Multiclip strikes a very acceptable compromise being both strong and light and heavily chromed to resist corrosion.I use my Multiclip for my wallet and my car keys. I purchased a second Multiclip for my brother which has numerous uses and applications. I plan to buy more Multiclips to present as practical birthday gifts. An excellent device all round and highly recommended.

I wanted a belt clip to suspend a Victorinox SD knife in the front pocket of my chinos and have a longer chain to attach my keys to when I go out. This does both of those things very well.Over the years I have had as the item I always have with me, first one of the larger Victorinox knives with a locking blade (unfortunately no longer legal carry in the UK), then a Swiss Card (excellent except that I never had confidence in the robustness of the blade included) and most recently a Champ (great piece of kit, does just about everything you could want but weighs a ton, even in a belt pouch). The SD knife gives the 2 tools I most use, a sharp blade and a pair of scissors,small though it is.I particularly wanted to avoid the knife sitting at the bottom of my pocket where it gets mixed up with other stuff and tends to imprint its shape on the outer material (particularly with denim where it wears a knife shaped outline into the material). The short chain ends in a clip which opens easily, but has been secure so far, and lets the knife hang freely halfway down into my pocket, exactly as I wanted.The longer chain ends in a split ring, not what I wanted as I don't like dragging keys around with me all day, but the addition of a small clip I had lying around solved that and I now just pick up my keys on the way out, snap them into the clip and drop them in a pocket. Perfect. Chain is just the right length for me although I had been unsure how long I would need as I am 6'6".This belt clip seems robust and the finish durable. It clipped over a 1 1/2" belt easily and securely. Definitely happy at this point and I will update this review in a few months time.

When I worked in the newspaper printing trade, one of the last jobs I had before I retired was working for The Sun newspaper as a press lubricator.Unlike when I worked as a press minder and pressroom overlooker after Rupert Murdoch bought The Sun in November 1969, I was working with all sorts of people who had never been in the trade before and some were thieves. To see the oil and grease levels in the sight glasses one had to have a torch to be able to see in the dark corners and working with one of the thieves he used to help himself to his workmate's property and the only way to keep hold of your property was to make sure it was attached to you.Another one of my tools was a very expensive Swiss Amy knife and to make sure that didn't go missing,it was attached to a chain clipped to a belt loop on my trousers.Now I have retired, I saw this VictorINOX Multiclip Belt Clip with 2 Loops and wished I had seen it sooner when I was working. It is a nice piece of kit to have, to keep your valuable Swiss Army knife safe with you.

As other reviewers have said, this product is very well made, very sturdy, but I find the chain is just a bit too short to be practical. If you want to keep your keys in your trouser pocket, and use the belt loop attached, it's probably fine, but if you want to keep anything attached to the main length of chain in another pocket, the length is a bit short, and the shorter chain section, intended for pocket knives etc, is very short, although there, it is not so critical, as you can easily remove whatever is attached to the chain. Whatever is attached the longer end is intended to stay attached, though, so be used while attached to the chain (keys, mainly), and for that,a slightly longer chain would give greater flexibility of movement. I knew the length of the chain before buying, because another customer had asked (would think they'd provide that info), but it's hard to imagine how long you will need it to be before actually trying it out.

This product is very well made as you would expect from a name like Victorinox. It does clip to your belt so your keys will fit in your front pocket. So strong is this stainless steel clip and chain there very little chance of losing your keys. Thats the main reason I bought this because I have lots of different keys for property, motorbikes,cars etc so keeping them secure in one place my front pocket makes sense because I can access them quickly. The only minor downside is the longer chain of the two is a fiction short 12-14 inches long. This means when i go to my front door the chain is a couple of inches short so to put my key into my front door i have to go on tip toes to get the door open.This does not mean of course the product is not a good thing to have, but would make sense to lenthen longer chain to avoid this sort of thing.

Arrived early as described. Usual high quality from Victorinox.. This is a very cleverly designed and beautifully finished item. Various videos on YouTube give tips on how to get the best from this clip. The short chain holds the knife near the top of the pocket whilst the long chain allows scratchy keys to lie in the bottom of the pocket. The clip can be fixed on a belt (and there is plenty of room for broad and thick belts), a trouser waistband or a pocket edge. Mine is attached to a 1.5 " belt and I have the car keys attached to the long chain. With a steering column ignition key hole I can operate the ignition without having to take the keys off the chain and being 6'1" I have the chair quite far back from the steering.You will not be disappointed with this item. Recommended

great quality as usually from the famous swiss army knife maker Victorinox.Nicely polished stainless steel and it comes in the same silver cardbox as their pocket knives it also contains a small instruction sheet.Both chains and the clip itself are very strong and can be used for keys, pocket tools/knives, wallets and pocket flashlights.No need to remove belt from loops to attach, simply open the clip and attach to your belt or detach anytime, it will not fall off as the mechanism uses the whole clip as a spring and snaps tight when you close it.The highly polished steel with Vic logo looks classy on belt, highly recommended quality fashion/utility accessory

Well made and solid. The clip stays firmly on the belt and the chains are good quality. I have no reservations about using this for my keys and Minichamp. Unlike some reviewers I had no problem fitting the clip on the belt and taking it off again. The short chain holds the Minichamp in my pocket but suspended so the weight is not felt.I had wanted to be able to put my keys on the long chain and still use my car key from the chain. The chain is slightly not long enough though to reach my car's ignition so I added the short chain to lengthen it. Now I would like another short chain but nobody seems to sell it separately which is annoying.

The belt clip and chains were as described. I removed the short chain as I don't need it atm. The long chain is to connect my wallet to that I keep in my side cargo pants' pocket. The chain is not as "heavy duty" as the one attached to my biker wallet but is tough enough to serve its purpose. The rings at either end are very tight and I had to prise them apart before I could connect the loop on my wallet: NOT a bad thing! Means it won't easily be removed. The belt clip is well designed. I decided to put my belt through it rather than "clip it"- a thief will have to drag me along with it should they go for my wallet. Recommend.

Just what I was looking for as a way of securing my keys, especially useful when I'm off fishing. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my keys and I tend to carry too many anyway. With this attached to my belt, it's easy to use car keys while driving or unlock the front door without having to detach the keys. The short chain is handy for attaching an LED torch. Rather than attach keys directly to the split ring on the end of the long chain, I've found it more convenient to attach a spring clip to it and attach a ring with the keys on to that. I'll add to my review when I'm sure I've found one that's a reliable addition......

This key-chain is very well crafted and engineered; from the belt clasp to the chain. The keys can be secured on this device, thereafter placed in ones' trouser pocket without concern that the same could fall out, drop out and get lost. There is an additional chain and catch-lock device connected to this product which can be used as a quasi pocket-watch chain & fob; however in this case, one can attach a useful object such as a small multi-tool or small LED torch etc.Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a sturdy and well made key-chain.

This is a brilliant product which I heartily recommend.The clip is large enough for any normal belt, the wallet chain is just the right length for you to open your wallet and use normally and the spring clip on the shorter chain is easy to use for keeping your car, house keys or Swiss Army Knife safe while in your pocket. The whole thing is built like a battleship and made out of the very best materials as you would expect by Victorinox, the makers of Swiss Army knives.Don't skimp on cheap versions, buy quality and ensure you never lose your wallet or keys!

An excellent piece of kit and easy to use, with no modification*. I use the long chain for a fob-type key and the shorter one for hanging masters etc. when the need arises. The clip itself is sprung steel and the snap appears to be chrome-plated brass, as it is non-magnetic. Although it looks almost identical, the little key clip on the short chain is of a higher quality that those normally found on lanyards etc. All-in-all a well-made, smart-looking device. * I have actually attached a small, stainless steel S-biner to the long chain now, but that is all.

I recently purchased this item to replace a similar, but decidedly sub-standard, product by another manufacturer. It is impressively strong, comfortable to wear (It's easy to forget that you are wearing it) and, in its own understated way, a rather stylish item.I am not usually a great believer in "Brand Loyalty" but Victorinox products are an honourable exception to that by virtue of their quality. In this instance it should also be acknowledged that this item is VERY reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended.

A solidly constructed belt clip with a locking mechanism for better security.The two chains are heavyweight. The longer of the two is fitted with a medium-sized keychain, large enough for a few keys of various types, but it could easily be replaced by one of larger diameter and capable of containing many more keys. The shorter one is fitted with a lobster claw and intended for one of their multitools. However, it could be used with a chain wallet, pocket knife etc as wished.Well made and fairly priced.
