Overall a very good piece of kit and I'm very happy with my purchase!It's well made, and I like the fact there's a hook included in the base plate to test the recommended max weight of the mounting point.Quality wise, it's well made and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.It is quite chunky and does dominate my lounge a little bit (my lounge is 15x13 foot in a new build house) but on the same token, I've never had a ceiling fan before, so I guess anything will seem bigger than a lamp shade.The light fittings take E27 bulbs but the literature doesn't tell you that only E27 mini globes will fit, standard size bulbs will fit inside the glass shade with a little fettling,

This fan suits our bedroom decor perfectly.This fan provides a good airflow and is quiet enough for us to sleep under when set on one, also creating a cooler environment pre sleeping, when left on two or three.There is a bit of resonance from the metal casing which the manufacturer could control with a few strips of sound deadening material (like used for cars) stuck inside the casings which don’t rotate.The installation of the fan was straightforward, but additional work needed in the wiring to accommodate the stated need in the instructions to have switched live and neutral.

This is an excellent low profile fan for 8ft high UK ceilings. It has a very comprehensive instruction manual and can be fitted by an experienced DIY'er (but to save all the hassle I had mine installed by an electrician for just over £50).
