Basically it's identical to the Coopers of Stortford I had, which had its bulb giving up the ghost on me last week. Instead of ordering a new bulb as these basic models seem to be tricky to replace such bulb, I thought for the sake of a few more pounds I just buy a new one since is such a low price. My previous one lasted nearly two years so I'm hopeful that this one will last as long.Just wanted to point out that this is a very basic halogen oven and comes with one low rack and one high one. It doesn't come with an extender ring nor the two metallic plates (perforated and normal) which are really useful when cooking.

I have had this model for a good few years now and it was expensive at the time, but having said that it is in constant use, does a really good job of cooking a whole chicken in about 45 mins. I have actually cooked two 1.5k chickens in this side by side (reduced from supermarket because of eat by date and always handy with two teenage lads to fill).I think this is a great oven if you have teenager's as it keeps them away from the main oven, which they will walk away and forget about.My one gripe is that the I find the cord too short and it's attached to the top andI would state that the glass bowl and glass on lid gets very hot, the lid rest could also be better designed in my opinion.But would certainly recommend to anyone to invest in a Halogen Oven,

In spite of the infantile name it proves to be better than some much more expensive Halogen cookers. I had one costing over £40 which blew the house main fuse three times and was replaced and it lasted about a year and then burned out. This one I hope will do better. It started up perfectly on test cooking some sausages. I like the way it has a mechanical clock timer which should prove more reliable than the electronic timers on other makes. It looks well put together and is a delight to use. I'm keeping fingers crossed that this one will be well worth the price. It's a good size and easy to clean. I always run Halogen cookers on heat proof pads because the underside of the bowl and stand get hot enough to burn a worktop.

I bought this recently and it is much easier than using the oven and grill. Easy to clean and it cooks most things that i want. Pastries are warmed up and are nice and crisp. Sausage, bacon and chips all cook well . No more burn food as you can see through the glass the whole time. No more being told what to eat and when is also a bonus, Only complaint is that the timer knob seens to have a mind of its own and is a little loose but i work round that and it is fine. I have used foil in the bottom of the bowl when cooking meat to collect the fat as it makes it easier to clean but a quick rinse, of the bowl with hot water and its as good as new.

This is awesome. Used it on the first day we had it to bake a cake!! We sat around it and watched it bake. We'll be making many more at this rate. I thought it would be a monstrosity on the worktop but it actually looks ok. It's big enough for our family of four without being too big to handle. We have an oven proof glass platter which we put the lid on when putting things in so it's safe and off the worktop. I boiled some eggs in it too with no water!!! Weird but done the trick. This will completely change the way we cook. Our built in oven hasn't been switched on since! It cleans itself too in 2cm of water and a dot of washing up liquid. Love it love it love it!!!

...you buy a new unit.having got all the accessories with earlier Halogen ovens. This product won the replacement race because it does not come with more than the absolute minimum of accessories.IF you choose this as your first Halogen Oven you may find the lack of extras limiting but otherwise it will make perfect oven chips, cook pies or pizza please use a pizza stone to get the best from the unit.It will also grill chops make perfect roasties and a host of other jobs that the standard oven wastes energy to produce.NOT an item to have if you have those under 10 running about...so use the oven with some caution and consideration.

Perfect! Everything you could want, far better and cheaper than your normal electric oven! Will cook a medium chicken and trimmings in about 45 minutes without you having to keep checking it. Boil your potatoes , chuck them in with the chicken and your done! You can even cook the veg in there with it if you like .. ive made fresh cakes, cooked pasties from frozen, everything tastes far better! Pop some oil in the bottom heat it up, add some veg sprinkle a small amount of water over them cook for 15 mins then add a few sausages and a small amount of goose fat ! and cook for another 20 minutes! Its amazing!

I loved the one I already owned so it was a no-brainer to get one for my motorhome too!Everyone should have at least one of these.You can cook almost anything in them, in less time, using less electric.Its easy to clean too. Just put 15mm of water and a spash of washing up liquid in it, set the temperature to WASH and 15mins later its clean (or ready to put in the dishwasher, for stubborn marks - bowl only, obviously!)

I needed an oven to bake my polymer clay creations and this oven is perfect, I didn't want to use the home oven because in case of any toxicity of the clay. I've used around 10 times and so far so good (bought it last year). You might struggle to bake something that is a bit higher than 25cm tall. It stores perfectly as it doesn't take much space (as much as two boots boxes on top of each other). Highly recommended.

I brought one this from Argos before Christmas costing me £59.00 but seeing this one I had to get it and returned the one back to Argos as it was a rip of price. This is cheaper and I really recommend buying this product, it cooks to perfection with out drying out the food it comes with these standing racks that it drips of the fat of the meat than soaking it and I love it. Thank you.

I had to return it as it was faulty. They were very good and refunded me when they received it back, they also arranged the collection so I didn't have to worry about the cost of posting it back to them. I have since bought a new Halogen locally and it is lovely and easy to use. Saves on electric too as I cook for just my husband and myself and using a big oven is very often costly.

I purchased this oven to replace one i had used for about 4 years. You get the oven and a high rack, a low rack and a pair of tongs. For the price its great! Maybe they could add a cooking tray to the bundle? As i said my old oven packed in, so i already had other bits of kit. It's not got a exstension ring, a spare bulb or a tray. But for the price its great value.

Bought this last year and absolutely love it, as I don't have to preheat this; cooks chicken wonderfully, creating a lot more stock for gravy and soup; very good for reducing the fat when cooking sausages and bacon; don't have to leave the kitchen light on, as the light in this machine is very bright; baked potatoes taste amazing. Can't recommend it enough

As usual. Brilliant product. You will never use an oven again. These products generally work for around a year to 2 years I know this from experience, having purchased three before. But for the money they are absolutely fantastic, and getting cheaper all the time. So save yourself some money by not running up huge electricity bills.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant.This is as I have said brilliant it cooks a fantastic cooked breakfast a very healthy one it drains off most of the fat but keeps the food very moist also this cooks the best roast potatoes my family have ever tasted very crisp but once again fluffy and moist inside exellant product highly recommended.
